i Know i probably ruined everyone's happiness with this post "Has Naismith recovered 100% from his injury he had because that was the last i heard of him for a while he was a prolific goalscorer before it ed" ~ but could that effect his price and i was talking to someone today who said the following ~ Rangers are not allowed to buy player they can ever walk away terminating there contract.

They can't buy anyone over 18 but theres no restriction on selling other than the players had clause written in contract that allows them to leave for 25% of their value
That's the players who accepted the new terms of contract when they were trying to cut costs in February

Hi everyone. Wizard of Osman here. Not been on for a while. Been in Canada so missed the last few games of the season. There is some decent coverage of prem football over there but it's on at stupid in the morning and it wasn't Everton so f**k that!
I think I'm just about up to date with everything now due to you guys and the extended highlights on Everton tv.
Am I right in thinking we're looking s**t hot at the moment? Some of the football we're playing looks really really tidy and unpredictable.
One thing... Anyone who wants Kalou or Owen... Stop it! They would only be there to get paid and we don't want that.
Naismith sounds like another great buy to me.. Fellaini has been outstanding up top but Naismith and Jelly? Can't argue with that!
One thing I was confused about was the Cahill sending off. Didn't look much in the replay. Should he have been? I believe Cabaye pushed over one of our ball boys but I can't find any footage of it. Is that getting brushed under the carpet or something? Not on!
Anyway, It's all looking very positive at the moment. Really excited about next season. I'm sensing good times to come.

Think you're wrong. The link has been there for years between Everton/Rangers and RS/Celtic due to religion. RS supporters were traditionally Catholics whereas Evertonians were Protestant. {Ed025's Note - i hate all that protestant/ catholic crap!. i dont care if he,s orthadox jew, or devout muslim!..so long as he wears the shirt with pride.

"To hell with Liverpool and Rangers too" Thats the song which proves Everton side more with Celtic you obviously dont go to the games.

Nothing to do with religion, that is an old chesnut, no matter what anyone says religion has never played a part in either teams, and remember St Domingoes was a methodist church

Everton had row upon row of irish catholic priest in the stands years ago as fans, it was about religion then. but who cares like ed said. thats what as made the world such a nasty place live and let live i say no matter black white yellow green wgaf

In recent years Celtic and Liverpool only became linked following the Hillsborough disaster and them being the first match following it. Obviously the link of YNWA has played a major part too. But historically Liverpool were closely linked with Rangers, until then. I have often wondered why that changed, I would have expected Rangers would have been the ones to get involved after Hillsborough, considering they suffered a similar disaster involving fan deaths at Ibrox.}

ive had a bad weekend but coming on here and hearing about naismith has cheered me up. he is a quality player and does score goals just hope its all true so thanx everton for making me happy again. Andy

Sell ; Rodwell £15m
Buy ; pienaar £4m , Naismith £2m, and either lee from Bolton for £3m-£4m or hoilett for £5m-£6m .
If this happens then we will have a great team for next season and buy selling Rodwell ( who we don't need ) then we don't have to sell Baines or felli (that we need to keep)

Cmon nobody would ever pay £30m for Rodwell , he may be young and have potential but £30m would never happen even if he played every game of the season. I think he good but some people talk about him being world class because he plays for the team we support ( Everton )

I'm a blue but don't realy see what everyone else sees in him when I watch him play (ands that's every game) I just think he's average and think getting at least £20m for him would be a world class offer.... Can you explain to me why you think he is so good when he's fit?? I posted on the rangers site a few weeks ago asking if he's any good, they all reckon he is just as good as jelavic! so he must be pretty decent like

Can't wait to see Naismith in an Everton jersey. I looked at a video of the nine goals he scored before he got injured and he has got brilliant movement. Most of his goals have come from his movement off the ball, and at £2 million, he already looks like a bargain.
To be honest, even with his injury problem, £2 million is not a huge risk.

Also, completly unrelated, but can ye lads think of a name for me with the same ring to it as "Angerfist"? I've posted this on the talk music site, but people rarely seem to go on to that site, so if ye can help me thanks.

Honestly not being biased here one bit, but after watching England last night HOW THE HELL is Jagielka not in the 23 man squad!??
Him and Lescott were England's best players and in the last 10 England games Jagielka and Lescott have played together 4 times............ 4 clean sheets and one of them games was against Spain.

Also and i know this sounds like im just sating this coz im a blue, but Downing in the 23 and Adam Johnson on standby? Johnson came on last night and did more than Downing has done all season!

Did you see the piece on Moyes in the Star today - he says that traditionally the everton and liverpool managers have a quiet meet up meal or whatever - for a chat - he says he did it with houlier when he arrived and also had a couple of nice evenings with Hodgson but "one or two others weren't quiet as accepting" despite it being considered a tradition.

That obviously means rafa and kenny weren't so friendly.

Moyes is really really good friends with Houllier, so much so, that Moyes signed Gueye on the recommendation of Houllier.

Doesn't surprise, Cahill is really close with a couple of the s**te players, remember him and Andy Carroll, and a couple others, going to a CL match in Spain.

To be honest we don't need to sign many players Pienaar and Naismith would do nicely
but we need to sort out the right midfield i mean if rodwell is fit he is always good but we are linked with Lee Chung-Yong that could come from the sale of yobo and maybe anichebe.

Ireland manager not even going to try spell his name .However he said D.Gibson played his best game in 3 years for Ireland yesterday and that is down to Moyes and Everton when we first signed him i wasnt impressed but he really came on strong Moyes knew there was something there and he has being a fab signing.Now i hear we are on the verge of signing Naismith i dont know this player cause no disrespect i dont watch Scottish football that much but i hear him and the jellyman play well together and we got him at a bargain so i wont complain alot of people really rate him so i will look forward to seeing him play For Everton.Now lets get peanuts deal sorted and maybe Donavan and i think were in for a cracking season next year getting excited now already keep up the good work in the transfer market Kenwright. Stef the blue.

If true good bit of business by Moyes once again. 2mil for a lad, who, although has had a few injuries, is quality, and fills a position that we desperately lack, not to mention, Jelavic seems to rate him and have a close friendship.

Hopefully, there is truth in this rumour, because he would be a good addition, Rangers fans seem to rate Naismith higher than Jelavic.

But we need to get Pienaar SIGNED!

Yes Yes Yes jelavic and naismith upfront. Gonna destroy the prem next season, all we need to do is sign pienaar and europe here we come.
What a great start to the summer. Distin signs a new contract, we sign an established forward for a steal at 2million and for once were doing our business early. Hope fully we dont have to sell anyone.
