Who do you all think has been player of the season so far and who has been the biggest disappointment?

Best player (because he’s consistent) Gueye
Worst (consistently) Walcott

Best signing was Digne
Worst was Mena (although I am confident he will be much better next season)

Player of the season between Gana and Digne I'd go for Digne,
Biggest disappointment Walcott though a few could get it.

{Ed025's Note - gana for me lee, even after his dream move to PSG collapsed he still gives 100% in every game and thats really commendable, he also does the dirty work and never complains...true professional for me mate..

Agree with Walcott playing the worse but Pickford has been a big disappointment for me not for his form but just the way he comes across with his stupid attitude.

Player of the season is really tough, most have had good games mixed with bad.
P. O. T. S - Digne
Dissapointment - Tosun/ DCL/ Niasse.

Player of the season Gueye without doubt, worst player of the season, well this his hard there are so many under performing but will say Tosun.

Combination of youth and cerebral deficiency with Pickford SkyLark. Experience will come to eliminate attitude, also aid his understanding and ability to retain advice.

DC disagree on Tosun, the bloke knocks em in against all levels of competition at International Level and to be fair puts in a shift for us. Walcot on the other hand has been woeful, yet keeps getting picked.

So many people talking about getting simms in the first team now, he's banging them in at u18 level yes but let's not put all kinds of pressure on the lad, he's not ready yet if he was first team. Ready he would start every fame for 23s would he not? He's behind sambou and hornby right now, let him develop at his own rate.

who knows how these youngster will perform when given the chance, there are plenty of young players that have been given the chance and proved they are the real deal. now is the time to give them the chance, forget europa league we don't need it at the moment.

We've got nothing to play for so give the young ones a chance.

Yes we should give one or two a chance you never know.

If we do and we get hammered you will rip into them then. Leave the guys to learn their trade, and trust the management to know if and when they are ready.

As with all young players they will come in and make a big impact (Lookman, Davies) but they cannot sustain it and their level drops off.
Its crazy the, give them a chance you never know it might work attitude. Its a recipe for disaster and has ruined many a young players progress.

Lookman was blooded too early and wasnt ready, next thing he wants to go to Germany where he will be in the first team. He's not ready and needs to be slowly introduced, then when he is ready he will be a better player for it.

Just a heads up for fellow Evertonians, two tribes is on but sport one at 9pm Sat 30th March, focusing on the city of Liverpool in the Eighties, from riots, unemployment to the two football clubs and music scene, looks good, and nice to see Lawrenson commenting on the ref being the only person inside Wembley who did not see Alan Hanson's handball.

Surprised they picked Lawrenson for the Red half with being a Tory, we have Peter Reid on the Blue side, enjoy.
