Jc here

Eds do you know when Neville southalls book is out as I want to have a read, think it will be good and also want to know what happened when he came out and sat next to the goal post I was only 12 then.

Also can us blues stop going on about Liverpool no true blue wants to read rs on hear and it also makes us look jealous so can we please stop {Ed025's Note - its out in august jc....and i agree about the liverpool shout, lets concentrate on the blues..

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I was just complaining about the Liverpool thing last week, maybe people are started to get a bit envious of the redsh*te because Bill is pulling us down and they are winning (mediocre, but still) trophies {Ed001's Note - I really think that is unfair on Kenwright, he may not be taking Everton up, but he is far from pulling the club down. He just doesn't have the resources to invest to take the club on a level, but at least he is keeping it from becoming like Portsmouth.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said ed

Agree0 Disagree0

Blue union again

Agree0 Disagree0

Good shout ed, he does only own a slight few more shares than robert earl who is much much richer than BK and invests nothing ! {Ed001's Note - exactly! Bill gets all the stick while Earl does nothing for the club.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with ed001 the buck seems to stop with Kenwright, there is 3 more share holders who do nothing for this club, at least Bill when the money is there sanctions it and actually does deals..... Kenwright was responsible for Jelavic and Pienaar coming here in January flying to scotland and then flying to london on the same day to get the players moyes wanted, what did earl and the others do ?? probably sat in there big houses doing F ALL

Just watching the special report on sky sports news, and did you all know we are not even in the top ten for highest debts in the premier league! other clubs that are around our level and lower are in about 100 million

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Its not so much our debt thats the problem its the fact that we struggle to service it as our revenue streams/turn over arent as high as other clubs

Unfortunate to hear tommy smith resorting to auction off his medals to fund his retirement. I know he is a red but an ordinary scouser and a decent bloke. Think its a sad state of affairs. If he was a blue he would probably have been looked after by our ex players foundation.. We look after our own at our great club. Proud to be a blue {Ed001's Note - if you knew the situation, you wouldn't be spouting that utter and complete nonsense. Smith said himself he didn't need the money to fund his retirement, he is fine for money, he just CHOSE to sell them. Stop trying to put one over Liverpool without actually finding out the facts first.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Sorry ed1 re tommy smith post. Didnt know he was selling his medals cos he wanted. Remember piece in echo his benefits had been stopped when he took a penalty etc. Humble apologies thought he was skint. Top bloke he is glad he doin ok {Ed001's Note - no, he has since been given media work and the club etc rallied round. I got fed up of deleting people on the Liverpool site bitching at Liverpool over it, so sorry if my comment came across narky like. He didn't need to sell them at all, I personally don't understand how he could bear to part from them, but he made the choice and good luck to him. He earned every penny they raised with his sweat and blood on the pitch, unlike the modern day players who don't deserve their multi-millions.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Tommy Smith may be nice bloke off the pitch, but was anything but on it. My favourite memory of him is being given the runaround by Duncan Mckenzie whilst desparately trying to kick him off the park in that FA cup semi at Maine Road.

Key stat of the season - We have the 3rd best defensive record in the premiership BUT one of the worst scoring records. We all know where the problem lies. The stats just confirm this.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think your asking to much, we will only get 2,3 or mabe 4 players. I reckon we will get monolas, Drenthe free , Straq free. A new gk and someone else
Blue kaz

Agree0 Disagree0

I would be happy with that, but personally, it is a bit football manager, I doubt Moyes will change it up a bit, but in theory, that is a top summer.

Only thing I would dispute is I would rather have Pienaar in the Cahill role, and use Hoilett's quick feet and pace outwide.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice thought date but we would sign kalou and not play him?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is Drenthe left back?
