Brilliant website for everton fans this some of the rumours make me laugh and nice to see the optimism of the fans

Conor mcaleny

Believable9 Unbelievable0

I very much doubt this is the actual Mcaleny.

BitterBlue {Ed025's Note - why,s that bitter?...i know for a fact, some of the team visit our site mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh yea I have no doubt some players visit this site too Ed, but just seems a bit weird to leave your actual name. If it was me I'd want to conceal my identity so fans wouldn't brown nose me and suck up then I could see their real opinion etc instead of a bias one. That's just me though.

BitterBlue {Ed025's Note - i get your point bitter...i cannot deny or confirm it was him..

Agree0 Disagree0

What players visit the site ed? AntEFC {Ed025's Note - i cant say for certain ant...but tim cahill used to visit on a regular basis..

It's not him Ed, I have seen him on twitter and he doesn't speak like that, he would also put 'Conor McAleny' too.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just out of curiosity Ed, was Tim Cahill the poster who signed off with 'TC'? I remember a poster with that name and he hasn't posted in a long time...

BitterBlue {Ed025's Note - no mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Good to hear Conor, hope you can make the 1st team soon mate.

AntEFC

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm pretty sure that Cahill was Aussie Blue just by the way him and the ed spoke and the fact that he said he was going somewhere and couldnt post anymore...I may be wrong...

Is it just me or have the match officials been worse this year than in any other season. Meself I can't think of 1 match we have played at least at home were they have had a good game. Some of the decisions have been nothin but a joke. These refs now are supposed to be pro's there on a good wage and well looked after yet still we won't see them talking about bad decisions till they have retired. For years I have been saying its time we got some good honest players to go for there ref licence when they hang there boots up. they no how the game works and would never be intimidated by the big stars in are league maybe I'm wrong but a cant think of what else they could do. But it starting to do my head in now. LIAM!! IMWT! {Ed025's Note - us eds have been saying the same liam...the standard of our refs, compared to european ones is shocking!, and im not saying that because we have had some bad decisions go against us, the standard is just not up to scratch..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Spot on ed there's another one why can't we import the best refs we can do it with everything else players, managers, chairman, ground staff, everything but refs. Makes no sense to me. But something really does need to change mate. LIAM!! {Ed025's Note - i agree liam..

Heard from a credible source that there was a kick off on the team bus on the way back from west ham. She said that jelavic (again) was causing trouble because he wanted to sit next to bains but pienaar wouldn't move. Apparently he sat behind pienaar and dug his knees into the back off his seat all the way home. I think he will go in jan if all these rumours are true.

Just to say that we beat Wigan yesterday. We had more possession, more shots on target etc etc. And we are all down about not playing well. Ha ha ha how things are on the up eh? We are all down even though we won and are in top 5! Love it!
Degsypulford {Ed025's Note - your right mate..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

27 Dec 2012 19:25:36
Think people under-estimating Wigan, they never make it easy yet everyone expects them to be brushed aside. Thought they were one of the better sides we've played this season.
Anyone know what's happened to Coleman? His last few games have been among his best for us and yet he seems to have dropped off the radar. I heard he's stalled on a new contract.

Gibsons red card has been overturned! So no suspension! But he will most likely miss more than 3 games anyway through injury! Typical!!
Pretty poor performance yesterday but still bagged 3 points so I'm happy! Chelsea are playing great football at the moment so not fully confident about Sunday if yesterday's performance is anything to go by! At this moment in time ill be happy with a draw! But pray for the win

Should we be worried that Fellaini and Baines both feature for January in the official club calendar? {Ed025's Note - no..

Believable0 Unbelievable3

27 Dec 2012 11:01:48
How did jelavic play yesterday ? No goal again confidence must be low hatrick against Chelsea should do the trick. {Ed025's Note - lets hope so.. he looks a bit off the pace at the mo..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Thought he played ok, there was a point in the early 2nd half where he ran and chased everything, winning tackles and closing down, his goals will come but even him working hard and helping out the team is good enough for me {Ed025's Note - im not doubting his commitment mate, he just needs a couple of goals, to keep his pecker up..

Agree0 Disagree0

He was thru on goal after a 20-30 yard chase at one point - on the edge of the box - should have just lashed it - but turned back inside to find someone else - and move broke down to nothing - big crowd groan

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he is actually trying too hard. His runs keep catching himself offside and from set pieces he is in there too early. He needs to drop off a bit and arrive later. That's how he was scoring all those goals last season. Quite a few came that way. I think we will actually batter a team soon. A 7 or 8 nil looks on the cards to me! And Jelly will get a hatrick!

Blackburn=foreign owners=sack manager after 10games
Liverpool=foreign owners=change managers nearly as much as Chelsea
Chelsea=foreign owners=enough said!!

Thats just xenophobic UK owners can be just as bad ask Leeds, Bradford, Glasgow Rangers and I seem to recall a certain Peter Johnson. {Ed025's Note - fair point mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure the relevence of your point. If you are saying that foreign owners are a poor thing how do you explain SAF at Man U? or what Wenger at Arsenal both clubs owned by non Brits
Just because Everton are owned by a Brit doesnt prove great leadership surely its what is in the trophy cabinet is the measure of sucess not how long a manager has been in place!

Agree0 Disagree0

Just highlighting that being taken over by a rich foreign investor isn't always a good thing. Not saying all foreign owners are bad or that all English are good but just that we should be careful what we wish for

hi eds and fellow blues, it has been a excellent first half of the season some outstanding displays of football. we are creating numerous goal scoring opportunities, regularly having more possession, more shots at goal, more corners, i can't remember us playing this well since the great days of the eighties. thinking about the rest of the season we need to see some players coming in in january, baring in mind we have no one on loan at present that gives us four possible additions plus one or two players to buy. that's six possible additions to the squad. at present i still believe third is possible, but with davids history in the transfer market and our history of strong finishes who knows? it would be great to beat the rs to a first premier league title! (its xmas i can dream) we just need to keep behind the boys, lets make a pact no getting on any ones back before the end of the season lets push them on not drag them back. they would not be wearing our shirt if david did not think they were good enough, and he has not been wrong often. with a little luck and a lot of noise this could be the start of the best period in our great history. come on blues say it loud, say it proud, we are blue 'till we die WE ARE EVERTON THE GREATEST CLUB IN THE LAND! IMWT COYB.........grbef {Ed025's Note - love that grb...but still cant see 6 coming in mate..

Any truth in these Donavon rumours ed? According to some reports in america he's coming back?

ToffeeMike {Ed025's Note - as far as i know mike...he has no intention of coming this season..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Aah ffs :( The sooner Mirallas is back the better. Thanks for info ed.

ToffeeMike {Ed025's Note - mirallas, fellaini, and gibbo make us a far better side mike, no disrespect to the other midfielders, but i believe those three are as good as any in the league..

Agree0 Disagree0

ED 25 you are forgetting Ossie at the moment! He has to be one of the in form midfielders. People talking about regular England place now! Degsypulford {Ed025's Note - yes degsyp, he is playing well, but for me needs these good players around him to excel..

Agree0 Disagree0

Just didnt want you to forget him. I think he is defo our most improved player. By a mile!

I'd like to read your views on this, Everton and Tottenham are equal on games played, points and goal difference but Everton, alphabetically, come before Tottenham. Obviously alphabet should not be used as means to determine final league position, but can anyone explain why the BBC is listing Tottenham as 4th above Everton in 5th on their website?

Goals scored.

Agree0 Disagree0

^what he said.

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton should be fourth as we have already played spurs and we have a better head-to-head record against them.

Agree0 Disagree0

^that does apply in certain leagues (head to head), I know la liga uses that method but the epl does not.

Agree0 Disagree0

It could be cos theyve won more games does anyone know the rules. thgfest {Ed025's Note - i think its goals scored..

Agree0 Disagree0

It is goals scored. Heard it on the telly this am so it must be true!

If the suarez WINNER had been given you would be 7th {Ed025's Note - if my mother had been my brother, my auntie would be my sister in law...give it up mate, ffs..

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah and if the goals against Newcastle were allowed, the ridiculous penalty against Man City, the one not given against Wigan, Arsenal etc etcetc etc etc etc etc etc etc we would be 2nd.

Aussie Toffee

Hard earned 3 points today but its always tough against wigan even if we did not play that well but its nice to see draws turning into wins and its nice to see players standing up to be counted while others are out. It will be interesting to see what happens in january but reinforcments are needed to keep up the top four challenge coyb. thgfest ps all the best to the eds and all on the site
