We were awful today no attacking flare Didnt deserve to win {Ed025's Note - swings and roundabouts mate..we battered QPR last week...and lost

Believable1 Unbelievable0

The points are the most important thing, 2 wins in a row and we can get into the winning habit with two more home games in a row to come {Ed025's Note - we deserve a slice of luck.

Agree0 Disagree0

You are right ed, we should have won last saturday, the result is all that matters. COYB

Agree0 Disagree0

The league table looks better. We are 10th, with 2 winnable home matches to come {Ed025's Note - 9th i think..

Agree0 Disagree0

The original poster had a point, we must play better, the points were crucial as we now have a 2 week break, i think we will get better, we are notoriously slow starters, but if we win our next home game we will be in the top 6.

Agree0 Disagree0

I posted the original comment Awful performance but needed the points and the win Hopefully coleman wil be fit for next game we have missed his direct style of play and for god sake moyes play 442

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry ed but you said we battered qpr last week, were your eyes painted on last week, we were freakin shockin and have been since pre season

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen fella, it was a poor performance but i think the players and the manager at the minute don't care as long as we got that 1st win out the way and stopped this label as "slow starters". Now that win is out the way there will now be relief and a bit more confidence going into the next game

Agree0 Disagree0

The players and management should care when am paying my money to go all the games to watch a joke of a team

and I care, disgrace

0-0 at half time. Come on you blues, a 1-0 win would do us. Moyes has to find a way to get more league goals out of the team, we were scoring quite a few towards the end of last season {Ed025's Note - we have to be more attack minded..FFS change it moysie..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

A draw would usually be a good result away from home, but we need a confidence boosting win today. I hope we go for it in the second half {Ed025's Note - so do i mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Tim Howard has saved a penalty. COYB

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellaini missed a sitter, i wish we could get a goal

Agree0 Disagree0

We are more attacking in the second half, i wish we could do this for 90 minutes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Get in there 1-0

HI lads glasgow rangers fan here and l/pool hater, my mate playes for rangers reserves and told me that jelovic is considering joining everton(i really hope not) this guy is something else and a real gem of a player, anyway just to fill you's in hope you's have a good season and all the best {Ed025's Note - cheers mate...apparently we are swapping him with the yak....good luck with that one...and i hope rangers get the 4 in a row..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

WHAT IS YAKUBU HARD TO WORK WITH,WE DONT NEED ANYMORE UPSET'S

Agree0 Disagree0

Yakubu is an excellent , exceptional striker, he still can smash 30 goals a season in the premier league and he would probablly guarantee 70 goals in the scotish leagues but to get him to play at this Level you have got to get him a season long deal Of free MACDONALDS HAHA he is lazy unless Fed on big macs haha

Agree0 Disagree0

Yakubu scored 11 goals in 20 games for Leicester last year and was still gaining match fitness after injury when he went there. Not a bad return and certainly worth a few million to some canny manager. He can still do it - it's just his wages that's the issue.

Agree0 Disagree0

To be honest yakubu would score loads of goals in the scottish league

Agree0 Disagree0

I would score loads of goals in Scotish league too and so would most of our fans haha

I'd like to see Beckford play upfront with Vellios. I think they could suit each other because Beckford is very fast and (correct me if i'm wrong) I've heard Vellios is a very strong striker sand he is pretty fast aswell so he can hold up the ball and Beckford can play off of him. {Ed025's Note - it would be nice to try...but it should have been done in the league cup tie!..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ed, vellios had played 90 mins in a reserve game 2/3 days eariler, he must of been tired

Moyes has a over reliance on 4-5-1. If you want to win games you have to set your team out to attack the opposition. It's frustrating that Moyes best tactic against weaker teams, when we're at home, is to play a defensive system and hope we sneak a goal whilst employing Beckford as a lone striker.Beckford has never played as a lone striker before. He's clearly not suited to the role and it seems that everyone other than Moyes can see it. Unlike some people who don't rate Beckford, I do. I think he's a good player being used badly. Give him a strike partner like Saha and I think you'll see a different player. He scored 10 goals in his first season, being asked to play a role which is alien to him. I think that's a promising return for a debut season in the top league, without a strike partner. {Ed025's Note - i agree with all that pal....its 4-4-2 all the way for me!..

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I keep on hoping he's going to employ more positive tactics but I'm no holding my breath. He isn't showing any development as a manager. He's had a long time in the job and the team has been going backwards for the last 2 years. We have become a defensive, unimaginative, and predictable outfit.

Agree0 Disagree0

We need additions the squad isnt balanced.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree mate we are going backwards why do we play 1 upfront we need to revert to 4 4 2 give it a go for afew games moyes is on course to lose is job too stubborn needs to offload afew players half the money to bank use the rest to bring in two or three possible loans sturridge bendner krankjar pedro leon if we struggle till next window opens players will want to leave its now or never come on you blues

It will be positive that we have held onto our best players in this window, especially with some promising youngsters emerging. I don't want any talent from Everton moving on because we need to build around these players to help this club get to the next level and win silverware. That's how you breed success isn't it? {Ed025's Note - and by buying quality players..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Moyes can find gems like cahill, arteta and baines and make them quality players. Barkley and rodwell can be coached to become quality players as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

We need to spend money to build a squad with depth that can challenge for trophies, especiallly as we seem to have no luck with injuries {Ed025's Note - no luck with chairmen is the problem..

Agree0 Disagree0

We need a winger and a striker, a lot of evertonians have been saying this all summer
