We were awful today no attacking flare Didnt deserve to win {Ed025's Note - swings and roundabouts mate..we battered QPR last week...and lost

The points are the most important thing, 2 wins in a row and we can get into the winning habit with two more home games in a row to come {Ed025's Note - we deserve a slice of luck.

You are right ed, we should have won last saturday, the result is all that matters. COYB

The league table looks better. We are 10th, with 2 winnable home matches to come {Ed025's Note - 9th i think..

The original poster had a point, we must play better, the points were crucial as we now have a 2 week break, i think we will get better, we are notoriously slow starters, but if we win our next home game we will be in the top 6.

Listen fella, it was a poor performance but i think the players and the manager at the minute don't care as long as we got that 1st win out the way and stopped this label as "slow starters". Now that win is out the way there will now be relief and a bit more confidence going into the next game

The players and management should care when am paying my money to go all the games to watch a joke of a team

0-0 at half time. Come on you blues, a 1-0 win would do us. Moyes has to find a way to get more league goals out of the team, we were scoring quite a few towards the end of last season {Ed025's Note - we have to be more attack minded..FFS change it moysie..

A draw would usually be a good result away from home, but we need a confidence boosting win today. I hope we go for it in the second half {Ed025's Note - so do i mate..

I'd like to see Beckford play upfront with Vellios. I think they could suit each other because Beckford is very fast and (correct me if i'm wrong) I've heard Vellios is a very strong striker sand he is pretty fast aswell so he can hold up the ball and Beckford can play off of him. {Ed025's Note - it would be nice to try...but it should have been done in the league cup tie!..

Ed, vellios had played 90 mins in a reserve game 2/3 days eariler, he must of been tired

It will be positive that we have held onto our best players in this window, especially with some promising youngsters emerging. I don't want any talent from Everton moving on because we need to build around these players to help this club get to the next level and win silverware. That's how you breed success isn't it? {Ed025's Note - and by buying quality players..

Moyes can find gems like cahill, arteta and baines and make them quality players. Barkley and rodwell can be coached to become quality players as well.

We need to spend money to build a squad with depth that can challenge for trophies, especiallly as we seem to have no luck with injuries {Ed025's Note - no luck with chairmen is the problem..

We need a winger and a striker, a lot of evertonians have been saying this all summer
