We have been linked to bjorn siguardson from lilestrom and aparently we have made a 3million pound bid. he scored ten goals in ten games and has a handful of assists aswell. personally i think this would be a great buy adn he would either play CAM role like cahill. I was also wondering if he could play on the right, if so i would play:
......................Howard........................
Coleman......Jagielka......Heitinga....Baines
................Gibson.........Rodwell.............
Siguardson...........Fellani............Pienaar
.....................Jelavic..........................
I would also like to see Barkley eased into the CAM role and fellani + gibson to partner each othe in CM. Then i would like duffy and rodwell to get some aperances at CB and also garbutt at left back. Garbutt is gonna play at wembly in the play offs soon so it would be intresting to see how he does.
Blue kaz {Ed025's Note - good stuff that kaz..
Good team mate, although Coleman isnt good enough as a right back yet, I reckon he needs a season on loan in the position.
Still would like to see Kyle Naughton given a go, looks like he is getting better each season, I am sure he would be available for a couple of million
Siguardson is a striker mate, I'd rather see Barkley out on the right myself, or Osman...
I'd rather not see Barkley on the pitch at all {Ed025's Note - the kids going to be awesome mate!..wait and see..

Is this Sigurdason any good? Will he be able to cope with the prem? Or will he be like Jo..............
TC {Ed025's Note - this guy can play TC..
Good to know........
TC
Watch some of his highlights on youtube, he looks a premier league type player..
The lad would be a class signing {Ed024's Note - I agree, young as well, so only going to get better

i dont understand why everyone is saying yobo is only worth 2m! hasnt he been a huge success in turkey, fener did win the league, and he is a regular for them, not to mention hes on 31 {Ed025's Note - i just want to get shut of him to be honest..

People saying we should sell Rodwell are ridiculous. He is an immense young player and has the potential to develop into a game dominating midfielder. If he can stay fit next season imagine how much he will develop playing alongside Felli and Gibbo. COYB
Completely agree although he could also become a top class centre back
Joe EFC
The thing is, is he good enough, and more importantly, consistent enough to replace Gibson in the line up. I think Gibson has shown just how valuable he is to this team, and it will be hard for Rodwell to crack into the team. Unless of course, Fellaini is thrusted forward and Rodwell comes in.
Although, I still think he is a CB at heart, his attributes are tailor made for a CB, and if we had to sell someone, would rather sell a Jagielka, who at 30, is in his last year where we could get max money out of him 12/13mil, as opposed to Rodwell, who is still only 21, and has time on his side. {Ed025's Note - fair points mate..
I'm a utd fan and can't believe how many evertonians doubt his talent,he will become one of many great midfielders you have produced but by the time you realise it he will have replaced Carrick at Old Trafford.
Totally agree ,Gary Cahill made euros Rodwell will b ten times the player heil cum good wen he gts over fitness problems still only 21
Rodwell will be a top plyer. he showed how good he is when playing for england, hes had injurys this season .expect him to fulfill his potential next season he has everything ,tall athletic pace can tackle can pass well and scores goals

Any hews on a Takeover
Closer than people think. {Ed025's Note - further away than you think..
John ahaha! :D
Unless Ive misunderstood (quite possible) then unless we get the investment in the next year or 2 a rich owner wouldnt help the playing squad as you will only be able to spend what you earn with clubs unable to use their rich owners to add to the playing squad. Unfortunately that means the big 3 (mufc, arsenal,RS sorry)will have a big advantage over the so called smaller clubs. Oh and by big three i mean turnover not playing squad RS no where near the blues in that department but I think we have to accept they do have a global presence which will bring them the funds but clubs like chelsea and Man city will struggle in my opinion as they dont have the setup they need due to buying their success. As i said at the start of this I could have totally misunderstood and this post will be pointless hope not :)
ToffeeAl {Ed025's Note - its all a bit confusing to me al...so i will take your word for it mate..
You are right, clubs will only be able to spend what they generate in revenue and won't be able to make a loss.
The process is being staggered in over several years, so it won't be an immediate hit, otherwise teams like Man City wouldn't be able to comply but you will start noticing teams spend less on wages, transfers over the next few years.
Having said that a rich benefactor, as far as I'm aware can finance a new stadium out of their own money, they just can't buy the players, pay wages.
