Ed what's the Drenthe situation mate moyes doesn't seem to say alot about him. Dan {Ed025's Note - they are not the best of friends dan...they have fallen out a couple of times mate, royston is a bit of a loose cannon, hes a young guy who likes to live it up a bit, moyes is an authoritarian who does not suffer fools gladly, and thats where the problem lies..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I've also heard that Barkley is proving to be a bit of a pain in the arse for Moyes and his backroom staff....won't listen to anything he's told and creates unnecessary 'juvenile' problems and this is holding him back. Have you heard anything Ed? (Wavertree Blue) {Ed025's Note - i have heard that before wavo...look, he is a young guy with a bright future, and probably more money than sense!, but if anyone can keep him on the straight and narrow...moyes can..

Agree0 Disagree0

Is right Ed. (Wavertree Blue)

Agree0 Disagree0

Barkleys problem is hes out on the town all the time thinking hes a somebody, when he still not proved a thing yet, lets hope he gets his head sorted, and concentrates on his football

Agree0 Disagree0

Like Ed said there are a few managers that do not suffer fools, Fergie, Wenger, Moyesee, I know that if both these guys do not tow the line they will either be sold or sent back, totally agree as we do not want unrest in the team. Personally I think Barkley is just an excited kid at the moment who once Moyes has given him a good kick up the ass will come good, on the other hand I think we may struggle with Drenthe as he is a totally different prospect, he was on the ale at Real Madrid all the time and was left to do his own thing. this guy may be on his way out in the summer, WHAT A LOSS TO US AND TO HIMSELF, amazing talent just waiting to be unlocked and unleashed.

On a different note I am struggling to focus on work today big time, COME ON YOU BLUES MAKE US PROUD

Ha ha Degsy I'm struggling too . I'm on a proper go slow today. Could be a late one though. I thing we have a better penalty taking list that Sunderland and a better keeper too. COYB

can someone explain why goodison park is enclosed in metal cladding? seen old pics and it looks like brick work under it. good rendering job there. kenwright needs a good tin opener. if we are going to stay at gp then a good spring clean is in order i think.

seewherl coyb

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think the cladding is holding the walls up lol

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

I think they tried that at Man City and did some feng shui to create a positive energy flow and look what happened all their fans face away from the pitch! Mind you that's the best wat to watch city.

Goodison is just fine as it is leave the Old Lady alone.

Now on a footballing note

COME ON YOU BLUES

I'm 50 on Sunday and a win tonight and against the baggies would be the best presents ever.

Cheers Degs,

Based on your previous post by the time
you read this you should be at home with a beer in hand, so cheers again and COYB.

By the way if drenthe is out and coleman injured, pienaar cup tied do think Moysie will go 442 with Denis and Jelly up front and Osman and Cahill out wide?

Nerves are kicking in already for tomorrow. I'm gonna do my usual and predict 1-0 Cahill though. It's on. COYBB! Prediction ed 01/25? {Ed001's Note - I think it will be 3-1 Everton, with it being tight until a dying moments goal kills them off.}

Believable1 Unbelievable1

According to the BBC, Sunderland have a
severe injury crisis. However, we only seem to win when the odds are against us. Probably a bad omen.

Heitinga has the potential to be our best centre half since Kevin Ratcliffe. Not here yet like but should be the first name on the team sheet the way he's been playing.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Or future captain, and current player of the year so far in my opinion

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he will play both Jagielka and Heitinga tomorrow but I think Heitinga might be the holding player in the midfield, an area where we will be short with the absence of Pienaar and Coleman. This will give a bit more freedom to Fellaini and Gibson whilst I see Osman positioned in front of our right back (Neville or Hibbert) to take out their left wing threat. Cahill will play his normal role, supplementing both midfield and attack, as required.

Agree0 Disagree0

So, osman right, feli gibson, heighty, and cahill in the center, leaving the left totally empty, fck me glad your not picking the team tomorrow {Ed001's Note - I guess this isn't the right time to tell you that a certain Mr Moyes sent in that post then?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Aaarrrrgggggghhhhh nnnnoooooo

nice one Ed001

what do we think about jagielka and heitinga? saw an interesting write up on NSNO and i was thinking they are both great players so why cant we play them both?

Which one is best suited to RB?
Johnny played well there i think in his first year with us, but i think he's been huge in CB for us, and i think Jags has a really good recovery on him which is good for a RB right?

Howard
Jagielka Heitinga Distin Baines
Drenthe Fellaini Gibson Pienaar
Osman/Cahill
Jelavic

For me it would be a serious defence, and a very good team.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Thats a gud team, If moyes has the balls to play it. 2dog blue

Agree0 Disagree0

He treied jags at right back when he irst signed and was shocking. there is nowt wrong with tony hibbert at right back

Agree0 Disagree0

Tony hibbert is shocking ok he can tackle but he cant pass cant cross cant do much 2 b honest a good right back has 2 b like baines is at left bak hibbert is no were near as good we need to get rid and bring a quality right back in
