He definitely lacks quality but at least he wants the ball and wants to have a go. I hope he scores a few and makes a go of it at Hull.

Didn't think he looked so bad considering he hasn't played for so long. Real Madrid would take come knocking our door any time soon. But coming off the bench to put him self about and to be a nuisance, didn't think he was too bad

Well am happy to wait now until the summer for more signings get one or 2 more out like Gibson one kone then we will be 100k better of a week in wages no point buying for the sake now let's just keep playing the way we have been and try and catch top 6 teams but I will be more than happy with 7th this year and then improve on that next year baby steps.

Word has it, that Gibson was givern a 2 year contract on the bases that it had been promised by Martinez. We all know martinez's faults, but surely he could not have been that stupid, the man's injury record was bad, add that to his conduct away from the ground, how could anyone in their right mind promissed him a 2 year deal?

Niasse looks decent enough to me (one game I know) especially as a sub. Maguire, not for me. Looks like big fish, small pond to me. But obviously young and British, so instantly amazing and worth 30 million

Niang gone to Watford on loan with view to a permanent.
Dont know if us being linked with him was just regurgitating old news due to previous links and he has hardly set Serie A on fire

But i hope he didn't choose Watford ahead of us if we were actually interested or that we sat thinking about it for too long

I do like him but if he's not good enough to stay in the stoke first team is he really good enough for us? Hasn't hit the heights he originally reached for stoke for a while

A general question which I would value your help with. Planning my first trip to Goodson for 35 years (don't ask) and am trying to get a couple of tickets ( Sunderland Feb 25th) Only seem to be obstructed view tickets left . Does anyone have a view as to best stand and area to choose? How obstructed is the view likely to be? This is a significant birthday present from my daughter so atmosphere and nostalgia are more important than seats I guess. Any help much appreciated! Thanks

Great. As you say- got 2 good seats for same price as obstructed view tickets. Thanks for your help. Not sat down at Goodson since I was 10 years old and saw England beat Scotland school boys! It was still standing when I last went to a league match!
