Wudnt mind odemwigie he wants out of westbrom, but he's seeing pound signs at Qpr.rock bottom of the league and got hammered today.all them players who have signed will end up crying that they want out when they get relagated.ryanfromleic

Believable3 Unbelievable2

I am sure the players who QPR have signed in January and even in the summer, would have relegation clauses in their contracts when they do go down. As long as they get paid, they obviously don't care, QPR really are the definition of a mercenary club, why I love Everton, these players love playing for the club and give 100% every game.

Am I thinking the same as anyone else but is it abit concerning about mirallas ? Never had a hamstring prob before he came prem, is are league to fast for him? E.g giggs, owen, bale to name players with pace who suffer with hamstring 's, maybe we need a back up

Believable4 Unbelievable4

26 Jan 2013 21:34:35
This is not a rumour.

However, I have a feeling that one day Jose Mourinho may why be out manager. He has praised everton so often, and states his recognition of our commitment and determination . He WILL manage in england again. He will not return to chelsea due to upset with abramovic. I can't see man united and he isn't a fan of arsenal. I really wouldn't be shxoked.

Not that I want to lose moyes, but if he does want to manage i'm germany one day he will leave.

Dont abuse me for this, just saying something which in my personal opinion may happen one dday

Paul {Ed025's Note - i cant see it myself paul...he needs money to operate mate, but your entitled to your opinion my friend..

Tickled me that kidder lol, you never know though mate

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

Yea Paul you keep on dreaming, it seems all you scouters live in cukoo land anyway, there's just so many reasons why this would Never happen ill just state the most obvious ones to save you any further embarrassment my delusional friend, first of all there's probably at least 40 or more bigger teams throughout Europe which would be on any possibles list before yourselves anyway, I'm not disrespecting your club as your not a small club by any means but at the same time your never going to be classed as a big club either my friend ( although I understand you once were a long long time ago ) but football has moved on a hell of a lot scince the 70's and 80's, even though you've had a fantastic first half to the season, by your own standards that is though, your a pretty middle of the road team in every aspect of your club. Just speaking in terms of premier league clubs, you have a mid table size fan base, although very passionate I must admit, you have a midtable turnover at best, a stadium that is extremely outdated and midtable in size at best, that you have struggled to fill consistently at times, your team in my opinion is over achieving this season and not of much value other than Fellini and particularly baines, who will aost certainly leave in the summer along with moyes. Take into account I can't even remember the last time you won anything and your almost unknown in European terms, I mean you've never even played in the champions league or European top tier in your history, I know this will cause a lot of response but I'd love to hear any reasonable argument without blue tinted spectacles on, I know what I've stated is somewhat harsh but an honest opinion and I do admire what your club stands for whatever some of you may think.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bit rich coming from a kopite. Liverpool are a mid table team at best and you lot need to accept that.

Anthony {Ed025's Note - i dont think he is a kopite ant...as he refers to us as scouters, not scousers..

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Jan 2013 07:53:24
It was probably predictive text Ed, also most Koppites can't spell so it might of been that.

I see he never stated what club he supported, probably was Liverpool or Chelski

One is a hasbeen and the other an embarrassment.

Mike20 {Ed025's Note - would cost far too much mike...i hear in the £20m bracket mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good to hear moyes say he wants to bring players in that'll go straight into team and make a difference not just squad players.Lets hope it's a big signing/big name to get the players themselves excited and help them push on and get back to the high tempird passing game they've been thrilling us wit for most of the season.I've a good feeling he's going to pull something outta the bag that'll give us all players and fans alike a boost.coyb.TomD

I think we should try and get matej vydra. Looks really good and has scored 10 goals in 6 games {Ed025's Note - and would cost £20M..

Believable0 Unbelievable1

20 million is a bit much he's only playing in the championship I would only pay 8 million myself but the family who own udinese Watford and other clubs are tricky business men probably why they are commanding such a high price and they don't need to sell {Ed025's Note - he is only on loan to watford mate, and udinese, are a mega bucks team..

Look everyone is entitled to their opinion and the world would be boring if we all agreed on everything but the negativity of some is getting a bit much. once upon a time the mark of a good team was winning when they weren't playing well which is what ws did today - it really could be worse - imagine we were QPR or Villa supporters! {Ed025's Note - good point mate..

Just got back from the game ed great scenes at the there we weren't at are best but we played well like. One thing that bothered me tho was felli his attitude stunk he looked disinterested. Hope he was just having a bad day tbh and there's nothing more sinister to why he was like that. LIAM!!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Fellaini plays like that alot...............

I've had it up to here with Moyes. Its obvious that mirallas wasn't fully fit today and he wasn't against spurs either. Why rush him back? We don't need him being out for ever. Secondly why does he keep on playing the same team, they must be nackered: they looked it against soton. if we get into europe ( and that's a big if at the moment the way we are playing) he can't just use the same 13 players over and over. soon baines is going to break down because he plays so much. What is oviedo doing wrong to not be getting a game. If he isn't good enough the why was five million spent on him. Thirdly we need some new signings. the team looks out on their feet and as we saw last year just a couple of signings can change a season. This time last year we had brought in gibson and donovan.
so in conclusion moyes needs to pull his finger out and start rotating the squad and buy some players. {Ed025's Note - theres not a lot to argue about there mate..some very good points..

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Very hard to rotate to much wen we dnt hav the players

Agree0 Disagree0

Jelovic needs a rest, the strikers at every other club get a rest to keep them fresh, he's getting overworked, squad to small lets hope 2 in before deadline, will be a huge lift to everyone 3 points off champions league, 5th round of cup plenty of cause for optimism .its now over to the board

Agree0 Disagree0

How is it obvious that Mirallas wasn't fit today and against Spurs ? Were you there for all the training sessions ? Have you seen all his scans and read his medical reports ? No, didn't think so. If he wasn't ready I very much doubt Moyes would have played him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Five milion on oviedo, I don't think so

Agree0 Disagree0

Erm, yes! I think you'll find we did spend £5m on Bryan.

Keith EFC.

Agree0 Disagree0

Urm actually I'll think you find the reported 5 million was false and it was actually 1-2 million we paid for him!

Agree0 Disagree0

Erm!!!!! no we didn't spend 5m on oviedo, it was just over 1.5m

Agree0 Disagree0

Oviedo cost around £1.5m. It was nowhere near £5m. If he was a £5m player I believe Dave would be playing him a lot more.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oviedo was £1.6M

Agree0 Disagree0

I disagree no pro footballer can be knackered after playin one (sometimes 2) games a week seriously no way they train hard to cope with fitness I play 2 games aweek an don't ahve problems obvs not same like bu baines and co would rather play than not as for oviado it took baines 2 seasons to get in the team so just wait an see

Agree0 Disagree0

Ano everyone has an opinion an da bu I get wound up wid people sayin " av had enough ov moyes or moyes tactics this an that bla bla" you gota remember what he done he has brought a relagation team into a european challanging team he got us in champ league quali with no money. there is a reason for every desicion he makes we might not see or agree with them bu wid out him we would be in championship no so dnt winge or slate him back him an accept we dnt know half the reasons behind his desicions eg guye oviado - today

just my view

Agree0 Disagree0

I work 50 hours a week and i'm not knackered at the end of the week, footballers play at most 3 hours a week with about 20 hours of training, footballers should never be knackered

Firstly the Mirallas Injury.
I used to play Aussie Rules here and have torn countless hamstrings. You go into rehab, they scan it, then scan it again, you do light jogging, then build your speed and it feels great. You have another scan, they give you the all clear. No clots, tears healed. You have had 10 weeks rehab. You go out and bang she goes again just like that. I had one 6 weeks out and did one in the first minute of a game. I had a 10 week one and did it within 15 minutes. I also have had the same Hamstring tears and lasted 2 years before the next one. So if you have never done one before don't even bother talking.

Aussie Toffee

Oh Yes Gueye he is terrible. Should have bought Oviedo on, Pienaar to the right and Oviedo to the left. Gueye should never ever play for us again. {Ed025's Note - i agree on the hamstring view aussie, its so hard to predict, i also agree on gueye as well..

Believable10 Unbelievable0

My dad used to play rugby for widnes and rochdale, he had 8 hamstring injuries and they don't heal over night, they also can look healed then play on it and it can go after 20 mins! my dad was out for 18 months with a hamstring injury, came back, played 15 mins against wigan and called it quits and came off and never played again

Why was it that every game today apart from the everton one was online? Couldn't get a stream atall!even Norwich were on! Had to tune in to everton tv to listen and by the sounds of it we were poor! Very lucky win! What's going on why have we suddenly turned to rubbish? We were playing awesome football not so long ago with more or less the same team we have now! Things have to improve if we want a top 4/5 finish! {Ed025's Note - getting a stream was very hard today....and your right, we need to snap out of this mini-slump pronto...but a wins a win..a couple of new faces will do the trick..

I posted the other day about mirallas his he prone to injury, no one would listen, he injured again now ffs

Believable1 Unbelievable0

What was Moyes doing playing him in the first place? We were up against a crap Bolton side, so he wasn't needed. Next up is a crap West Brom team, before we play the worst team in the league in Villa. The earliest Mirallas should have been back is Man Utd on the 10th Feb. Should have given him a proper recovery time instead of rushing him back.

Mike

Mike {Ed025's Note - these "crap" teams are fighting for their lives mike, and we are not exactly shooting the lights out, so dont expect walkovers..

Agree0 Disagree0

How do we know what you posted if you don't leave your name. Darren

Agree0 Disagree0

Why bring him back on the 10th Feb? I mean we're only playing a crap United team!

Keith EFC.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not expecting walkovers, but if we need Mirallas to beat Bolton, West Brom and Villa, then the team might as well just give up. I'd rather have a fully fit player than rush him back as soon as he has a sniff of being fit. It's going to affect him in the long run if he doesn't get proper recovery time. He is no use being constantly injured.

Mike {Ed025's Note - fair point mike..

Give him a week or 10 weeks off?, if he has a hamstring problem, it will still go after a week or 10 weeks

Why the hell did moyes play mirallas today. he is bringing him back to quickly. I really hope he isn't injury prone now as he is a quality player

Andy

Believable1 Unbelievable1

6 weeks is hardly bringing him back quickly, and if he hadn't started today everybody would have been moaning how would he ever build up his fitness if he never starts. {Ed025's Note - its very unfortunate...but these things happen...especially with hamstrings..

Agree0 Disagree0

If he has a hamsring problem, it will go no matter how soon moyes brings him back

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jan 2013 16:21:53
Not happy at all with this Mirallas situation. Surely the fitness and conditioning coaches at Everton gave him the all clear. If they didn't and Moyes has threw him in too early again then that is poor! Looks like he will be out now untill easter.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

If you have a hamstring problem you can get the all clear, but it will still go whether it is a week later or 10 months later, the club gave him enough time to get over his last problem

We have been rumoured to sign all sorts of youngsters on loan. Well for me the obvious one is Scott Sinclair. He looked really good last season but does not get a game at the moment. Milner is involved too much for City to let him go unless they have a replacement lined up. I reckon we will get Scott Sinclair and I hope Landon comes back too!
Degsypulford

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Sinclair has already played for two premier league clubs this season so therefore can't play for another one under the premier league rules so there's no chance of that happening.

Just read Moyesey's interview on tv website, seems to me like he doesn't really want to bring in anyone who won't make a a difference to the starting 11 and also seems like we may have a litle more money than we think.

this is my view, providing we don't lose fellaini, i'd like to see moyes spend the money we have on a striker that would make a difference to the starting 11 not add to it, I always think we lack someone who can get in behind, as much as I just think Jelavic is just in a dip of form, he's not got the pace to get in behind. now i'm not saying Jelavic should be dropped, rested maybe, but i'd like to see moyes go at teams with 2 strikers jelavic and another(in my opinion Darren Bent if possible, and to be honest I don't think Doyle would be a bad signing!), as much as I think anichebe as come on this year, I don't think he's the striker we need as a regular starting 11 man. if you watched the southampton game theway they stopped us playing was to get at us down our left hand side, thwarting the threat of baines and pienaar, then we ended up playing long ball stuff which aren't the way to play with jelavic.

what you think ed {Ed025's Note - im not the biggest fan of doyle or bent mate...i suppose im just fussy..

They're the same sites for ipad I would have thought Degsy. I use a Mac and they work fine on there, similar OS's

U have to download skyfire to use firstrow on an ipad

Or download Photon web browser for iPad. Anything that supports flash should be fine.

My team for next few games would be:

Howard

Neville (c) Jags Distin Baines

Gibson / Hitzlsperger Osman

Mirallas Pienaar

Anichebe Jelavic

Would play Hitzlsperger till Gibson is fit.
Hopefully, we'll sign
someone / some people.

"If you realistically look around you would look at 20 and say 'I don't want him, I don't want him, I don't need that position, I don't want him, he's too old, he's not ready' so you might come down to one or two.

"By the time you'd done all that you might find there aren't that many but I've got a wry smile. Why? You can wait and find out!"

What do you make of this quote. Sounds like somebody is lined up.

Ed have you seen moyes quote from yesterday he said "we heve tendered to be Christmas eve shoppers so hold on to your hats" sound positive to me that like what do you reckon?... He also stated we have cash but didn't say how much mate so fingers crossed. LIAM!! {Ed025's Note - its what i have expected all along liam..

A bit cryptic from Dave as usual. Hopefully it's Donovan and one of Capoue/Vadis/Diame. That would do for me nicely, and would help maintain our challenge, and give us a major boost.

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't want Donovan back. He did a great job but I don't feel he offers us anything anymore. We should be looking forward not back. If he did sign it would need to be permanent now and he's too old for that now
