Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

25 May 2015 23:23:01
Okay, season over.

We'll see what happens with transfers in and out, and perhaps somehow someway tic-tac-pass and a turnover turns into tic-tac-goal next year.

But I hope those of longtime Everton affiliation can take solace in the fact that losing to the Spurs helped place those pesky Reds into July qualification for the Europa League. Something about rainy nights in the Ukraine?

I would be more concerned about the Reds financially imploding then Everton. That is one dumpster fire at Anfield I would prefer to watch from afar.

Maybe Bk is holding back some funds for the next transfer window.Maybe he realises that come Xmas there will be a new man in charge who he will have to back as Rm seems to be doing a great job in detaching himself from the fans his lazy transfer policy will catch him up and if we get of to a slow start next season expect him to be gone.Bk will no how the fans are feeling about Rm so nothing short of a great start will do my feeling is we have a good squad but are not getting the best out of them and that has to be down to the manager .

There it is again, can someone explain what is 'lazy' about his transfer policy?.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 May 2015 06:29:22
Kone Alcaraz Mcgeady Robles these are lazy signings he new that they were average but he went for them because he new they would come crap squad players.what is his scouting network doing can they not be arsed going further than the 62 he needs to leave the manc rejects alone there is leagues all over the world .

Agree0 Disagree0

26 May 2015 08:49:25
It's not lazy transfers. He has scouted them at his previous clubs, they were good for him, he believed they would do a job and so he bought them.

Signing players is not about going to the darkest depths of Albania to pick up a 7 month old new born baby, hoping he will be the next Maradona. This isn't Football manager.

Real Madrid signed Gareth Bale from Spurs, Ronoldo from up the M62. Barcelona signed Suarez from across the park. Arsenal signed Sanchez from Barcelona.

The teams that just buy players because they are from a far flung country usually end up like Newcastle, Hull, Cardiff, Fulham and if any of those players make it at those clubs which, is usually one or two a year, they are bought by one of the big teams in the league.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 May 2015 13:06:27
I wouldn't call it lazy, that's like saying why sign hazard from chelsea when you can sign josh gatt from norway. Kone hasn't worked out due to injury, mcgeady is garbage, alcaraz is always injured and joel is still very young and can't get a go in the side as no matter what he does howard gets put straight back in anyway. I also don't get why only the signings that haven't worked are lazy. Is cuadrado a lazy signing? Mangala? How about di maria? Why didn't these clubs just buy a load of 8 year olds from belarus, faroe islands and trinadad and tobago?.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 May 2015 14:30:02
I'd keep hold of Joel. I will admit he was appalling to begin with but slowly gained confidence and improved. He's a tall lad and I think some of the shots Howard couldn't reach Joel may have tipped over or round the post. He's a young lad and should be given time.

26 May 2015 21:37:44
I think the term lazy started with me. what I actually meant was that if you restrict yourself to only looking at older players from local teams, they are more likely to be injury prone purely due to age.older players do get more injuries overall. Added to which, a local player released by a club is usually one considered not good enough for that particular club. Better bargains can definitely be found in foreign leagues and there are always young up and coming players in lower leagues. So if a club has an excellent scouting network as we seem to have, then utilise it rather than just accepting an older player that has been cast off by someone else. Let me put it this way. if rumours are true and Jonny Evans and Tom Cleverly sign for us. I would say that's another 2 lazy signings. See what I mean?

Ancelotti has left Madrid. Get him in now Bill. Wishful thinking.

silly sacking him and ending up with benitez, very silly indeed.

It's the managerial dumb roundabout only a handful of competitions to win yet they all want to win it every yr, there will be 98% losers in football come the end of the year these boards need to smell the coffee

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - we need to get bobby on that ride mike..

27 May 2015 13:41:05
I've got his ticket right here .

25 May 2015 20:05:19
with martinez saying don't have much money I think van dijk sahko cleverly and gignac would be okay

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - yeah..except cleverley of course bretto..

25 May 2015 20:29:51
Who is sakho? The wolves winger, the liverpool hunchback or the west ham went missing since january one?. Cleverley is lol, gignac doesn't suit us and would struggle imo, van dijk deffo.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 May 2015 21:48:56
yeh wolves one and only said cleverly because we already now its bound to happen and gignac on free so he does suit us and he scores goals

Agree0 Disagree0

25 May 2015 21:57:25
Why would we be remotely interested in van dijk, gignac or sakho? As far as I'm aware, they haven't played for Everton before.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 May 2015 23:58:31
Sako for wolves looks a decent player. Gignac isn't very quick and his hold up play is, twitchy, as in, inconsistent, but not where he has one great game of hold up and bad the next, it changes every time he gets the ball. His record is decent, but its the french league. let's weigh him up.

Strong
Good in the air
Solid finisher

Inconsistent hold up
Slow
Cant run at people

For free why not, got to be better than kone. Not sure on wages though.

My 1st post is ment to say Everton not everton.

26 May 2015 09:19:46

25 May 2015 19:51:36
Regarding the talk about Cleverley, Evans and Blackett, one only has to look at the last club that took on 3 Man U ex players. Ie Sunderland. One of them O'Shea being a better player than Evans.
If looking for replacement for Distin assuming no promotion from within the club, would either Vlaar at Villa or Dawson at Hull be suitable as backup.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - both are miles better than the united 3 mate..

25 May 2015 20:31:24
I reckon dawson is terrible, hasn't been good for hull and whenever I saw him at spurs he looked sloppy on the ball, slow and mistake prone. I also don't rate vlaar, decent world cup, not very good though.

Just read that RM will have no were near the same amount of money as last year. i'd say that will be in the region of about 15 mill. Surely this has got to be some sort of joke Ed?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

25 May 2015 18:35:40
Since when does anybody believe what Martinez says and why would he openly advertise how much money we have to spend, honestly some people are so naive.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - the players who we are linked with makes a lot of us think that way mike, if 2 of your main targets are cleverley and evans then the omens look bad mate..

25 May 2015 19:39:12
If income is being used to permanently clear club debt or to put to one side for redevelopment or new ground, thus result in low transfer funds, then that is acceptable and common sensible business. If low transfer funds and money going elsewhere then questions have to be asked where.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - the thing is keenone that we will never know!, the club never puts us in the picture about things like that, its all cloak and dagger stuff which leads to the supporters having serious doubts about their honesty mate..

25 May 2015 16:27:55
So RM is now saying we don't have much money to use this summer on new players. Well Roberto, finish higher than 11th in the league and guess what, you'll get a bigger budget.

I remember last year Bill said that it stands to reason that we could afford Lukaku due to the money from selling Fellaini. So we clearly can't make a marquee signing unless we sell a marquee player.

So I'd like to ask you all, To generate enough funds to improve our first 11 who would you sell, for how much and who would you spend the money on?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 May 2015 18:31:47
Id sell
Howard-2m
Baines-6-8m
Gibson-2m
Barkley-whatever we can get
Mcgeady-50p
Coleman-16m and over
Kone-1m
Total-27m+

Buy
Austin-8-10m
Deulofeu-7m
Lennon-6m
Marshall-5m
Alderwerield-6m
Total-27m+

Hate doing things like this as players I like are mostly unrealistic or I don't know the prices. Wishful thinking more than anything.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think you should be our new manager swan, that would do for me mate..

26 May 2015 18:31:46
Those sales are a good shout although I'd have to keep hold of Coleman as we don't really have much cover there.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 May 2015 21:39:15
You overestimated McGeady Swan.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I did warn you all about him, he split the support at Celtic as well, half of us thought he was garbage and the other half didn't even think he was good enough to classed as garbage!}

25 May 2015 14:16:04
Sat having a brew & got thinking, how many managers that we could realistically get can I think of that I would prefer to RM. Worryingly I was into double figures very quickly!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 May 2015 10:46:40
I said last year:
Sell Barkley and get some tom for new players.
So much for another Ballack. Injury prone. LATE dewveloper who may never develop. 28mil for 1 player with our budget was madness (Lukaku)
Its not just Martinez but the team in general. McCarthy injured and we are immediately in trouble.

Morning Blues.

Ed025, haven't seen you on Gooners page for a while, so I just thought I would pop over to the Blues page and say a big thank you for all the fantastic work you do on Arsenal page.

Keep it up, its much appreciated mate.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - i have been doing some on the arsenal site dags but have also been working quite a bit lately mate..cheers..

25 May 2015 10:31:31
I know the feeling Ed.

Just fitted new laminate flooring in front room, re-tiled my kitchen and currently putting new radiators in every room, whilst working 50 hours per week.

Mrs Dags can be very demanding, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - its equal right now dags..get her mowing the lawn and doing some painting mate, she will thank you for it.. :)

25 May 2015 12:03:14
Ed,

I'm glad she doesn't read this site, or she would get ME mowing the lawn and doing some painting, lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - put your foot down dags..with a firm hand.. :)

25 May 2015 09:38:00
{Ed001's Note - We have posted a new article entitled, Learning the lessons from Liverpool's failure.

25 May 2015 09:56:35
Ed001,

Now that's proper banter.

Love it :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - are you following me dags?? I can get another restraining order if necessary!!}

25 May 2015 10:18:53
Interesting piece, the similarities between Rodgers and Martinez is there to see.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - 2 managers who talk a great game gene, but have been exposed as frauds mate..

25 May 2015 10:49:03
I agree Edo25, they both have that strong smell of bullsh*t about them.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - martinez is killing me jimmy, the players he is courting give me no hope for the future at all mate..

25 May 2015 10:27:42
Its OK Ed001,

I have very high powered binoculars, so your restraining order means nothing :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - oh good, that makes me feel a lot better.}

25 May 2015 11:15:16
Hopefully Edo25 its just lazy reporting. I hope to jesus it is because as youve said and I agree with I doesn't give me any hope for the future either.Them type of players maybe ok for Wigan, certainly not good enough for us a team that's crying out for a little bit extra quality in them positions of the players mentioned.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - your right jimmy, i dont want us to be perennial under achievers who are content to just survive every season, i think our club is better than that mate, but RM gives me no confidence whatsoever..

25 May 2015 00:28:52
Can I seriously ask a question. what do people believe will happen if bill stands aside Tomorrow?

I may be wrong but as in understand it, he can't sanction anything from the selling of the club to painting the seats a different shade of blue without the backing of the board (of which I of course know he has heavy weighting, but not overruling). although I personally would like to see a die hard blue at the helm rather than some random, I don't mean to carry on the ongoing the debate. I just want to know what people belive would happen if he stood down tomorrow.
