Life goes on as it has to, but as our minds gear up for the cup tie tomorrow let's just take a moment to reflect on the tragic events earlier this week that - barring a miracle - have not only robbed a family of a son/ brother and football of one of it's brightest stars, but also claimed the life of the pilot as well.

rubbish happens and never does it leave people happy. The lads family are distraught and nothing they can do. If anyone was ever in doubt, the World is 'not' a small place.

I can only imagine GB. It's so sad and it's really hard for the families to accept when that decision is made, but the search/ rescue will have worked their a**es off trying to find something/ anything that would offer hope. The harsh reality is they may never be found.

Good lad Tosun. Another Niasse but more potential. Some would do well to learn from these two.

I agree, with Tosun, I can't believe they won't give him an extended run in the team while they have allowed Sigurdsson and Walcott to put consistently put on poor performances for weeks on end. I think there are goals in there if he was given a chance to build confidence and learn how to play with Richarlson, Lookman etc. Tosun missed a few chances against Wolves on the opening day but to me, that was one of our best performances of the season, and Tosun was a big part running off the ball. The way we treat some players is baffling.

Every Manager have their convictions about tactics, formation and the players within that system. Silva appears like Martinez and Koeman before him certainly has his favourites. The upshot is, that they are paid the big money and for that accept the responsibility. Fail today and almost certainly, Silva will start planning his holidays.

Yes, let’s start sacking mangers every 6months because that’s the way to move forward and build.

Did I say sack him. Do you think he will come under pressure or not?

Without 8 first team regulars GB! I can remember when teams had 13-14 players and that was it. 42 league games, cup replays, and home and away legs in the European cups, and somehow football was more exciting at times. I wonder how many of these so called prima donnas would cope with being only one of 13-14 players? I sometimes think having too many players actually hinders a teams progression. Time we reviewed squad sizes for the sake of the game and supporters finances. If we can't beat Millwall then things need shaking up.

Don't forget that in the old days they had thugs like Tommy Smith and Nobby Stiles hacking them down. A quick sponge down and they where good to go and went out every week. Todays prima donnas could not take it.
