Hi all, the following is a leaked document from Goodison!!

To Blue Bill from agent Brenda

Progress report, week 5

I'm glad to report that all is well or rather not so well in the red camp. I seem to have completed our 5 year plan in 5 weeks, both you and I never thought I could have them in the bottom 3 so quickly.

These red fans are easy to appease I just have to tell them I'm playing good football and they lap it up!! The fools would rather think they play well and lose than not and win, however I still can't seem to understand them as none of them speak English, I was stopped by one on Sunday morning who asked for directions to Analfield!

There have been some rumblings for my head but as soon as I pretend I'm living in the 1980s they just go into a dream land. I have most supporters eating out of my hand at the moment, however I'm running out of things to blame for the bad results, so far Ive blamed the ref, the woodwork, the pitch, the ref again, Alex ferguson, god, FSG, goal line technology, the assistant ref, bad luck and Jon Joe Shelvey! So any help you could provide there would be welcome.

Team update for this week: good news, with the injuries mounting up I can put faze 2 into operation and put Caragher back in the side, they idolize him over here and can't see how awful he is now!!

I've also told goofy that if he keeps rolling around the ground that he'll eventually get a penalty! The person doesn't realize I meant a 3 match ban.

Unfortunately Shelvey got sent off so I might have to play someone decent, but then again I'll be starting Borini again, you should see him in training he couldn't hit a barn door with a beach ball!

Well nearly done now, I don't know how long il remain in place over here, but they still haven't copped on to the fact I sold all our strikers and never bothered phoning Fulham for Dempsey.

Signing off

agent Brenda {Ed025's Note - i enjoyed that..

I've read some rubbish on here, but this is something else. Why you are so obsessed with them, when we are doing so well, god only knows.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

It's called a banter site! Part of the enjoyment of winning is laughing at those who don't, and by god we've earned our right to laugh at others, so lighten up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agent Brenda, why not go with the rafa approach and place blame for poor performance on the owners, he used to do it all the time, FACT

Agree0 Disagree0

Just seems like such a waste of time and effort to me. Yes, they haven't got off to a good start but we haven't won anything for 17 years, so it's a bit silly to be laughing at them for a poor 5 games. Just hope this is the season we finally win something.

Hey Mike one word that may help you.

Love it, as an author of rubbish / banter posts it's nice too see a fellow blue joining in on the humour to be had.
I find it refreshing to read something light hearted when not much is going on banter wise.

Keep up the good work.

Ed and fellow blues, just a little fun...

I was bored rubbishless in school today so as you do, started thinking about the Mighty Blues' form lately compared to the R/S's. The way I see it Everton have got 10 points from 5 games, 38 games in a season, times 10 by 8 and we're looking good for 80pts (if we continue this form) whereas the rubbishe have picked up 2 points from 5 games and are looking good for 16pts! While we're contending for the title our neighbours will be in a relegation dog fight. Good times ahead...

P.S no smart arses replying that if that is the case Chelsea will get 104pts this season etc. as I said it's just a bit of light hearted banter.

Jay EFC

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Carry it over from last half of last season we,d be cl and they would go down
Jab EFC

Agree0 Disagree0

We've started well, but we need our first choice players to stay fit and playing well. Too many injuries and/or loss of form and/or bad refereeing and/or just plain bad luck will all play a role this season. Also IMHO we need to strengthen/deepen the squad in January. Once a blue, always a blue.
Cowpat Sid

Agree0 Disagree0

It's as was said yesterday, on current form we get champions league whereas they get championship.

Agree0 Disagree0

If you do that though, the league table won't change. Every team will just stay in the same position all season.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Half empty glass again Mike? As the kid said it's only a bit of fun mate.
MB

Agree0 Disagree0

How is that half empty? If you multiply every teams points by what they have now, over 38 games the league table wont change. It doesn't matter if you are 5th, 10th or 19th. Try it.

Hey Eds, what happened to the poster who came on a few weeks ago asking for advice for their upcoming interview with Everton In The Community?
They said they'd come back on and let us know how it went but I can't remember them coming back on at all.

Moody Blue {Ed025's Note - as far as i know moody, there has been no update yet mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I posted Wednesday but it must not of been posted... It went well it was just an informal, just telling me what I will be doing etc... Looks good... Got an introduction a week saturday... {Ed025's Note - nice one mate..

Cool, sounds promising so far dude, fingers crossed for you. Are they making you run the Santa Dash as part of the process?

Sorry, forgot to sign that last post where I tried to plug the Santa Dash (Sunday 2nd December only 5 km a great laugh for a great charity)
Moody Blue {Ed025's Note - i knew it was you moody..

Thanks ed and moody, if I get the choice to do it I will, we choose what we get involved in... I hope I get to do it! Haha! Thanks guys...

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought you would Ed but by signing the first post I wouldn't have had the opportunity to plug the Santa Dash twice (Sunday 2nd December, a quick hangover curing dash round the city, blue Santa suits available from Everton In The Community, great charity, great local causes)

Heard Jelavic is fit for tomorrow, not disrespecting the cup competition and Leeds but I hope Moyes doesn't risk him, with Anichebe gaining confidence and scoring i'd stick with him against Leeds who let's face it will probably kick lumps out of us.
I want us to win, and would love to see us win a trophy but I also think this early in the cup we should maybe rest Pienaar and Fellaini and maybe even Jagielka.
Still have a solid side out that can beat Leeds.
Also I didn't know Ovieda could play centre mid thought he was left back and left mid, but if he can do a job there, it's a good chance to throw him into a cup game atmosphere that will be physical, see what he is made of.

Howard or Mucha

Neville Heitinga Distin Baines

Mirallas Osman Ovieda Gueye

Naismith Anichebe

SUBS
Howard or Mucha
Duffy
Jagielka
Pienaar
Fellaini
Jelavic
Vellios

If we get stuck we have the likes of Pienaar, Fellaini and Jelavic to come on and get us out of trouble, but I expect us to win a physical game late on 2-0

Steve

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Oviedo won't play in the centre of midfield, I would imagine he would replace the resting Steven Pienaar on the left wing. As for the centre of midfield, don't be surprised to see young Junior starting, recovered from his injury, and Moyes is a big fan of the lad, with that position being relatively shallow for Everton, he could be starting against Leeds.

next 3 pl games should be 9 points take 7 tho

Believable2 Unbelievable1

What is the best place to be if you want to qualify champs league ? to sit at the top in first place catching everyone's eye and making people bust a gut when they play you? - or just sneak under the radar in places 3 to 6 until the last 10 games of the season? then ramp it up?

Agree0 Disagree0

Finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd or even 4th gives you the greatest chance, cant really think of any other ways I'll let ya know if i think of any though :)

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Sep 2012 16:27:55
how good is it that we stuffed Swansea at their place with the two central midfielders of Osman and Neville? In the past you might have thought that was a weaker pair and that we would need 'lucky' talisman gibson - but seems that we played very well with those two as well - nice one!

Just pointing out our run of PL fixtures:
Southampton, Wigan, QPR, Liverpool, Fulham, Sunderland, Reading & Norwich. Then we have a tough month. But is anyone else thinking we could win all of those? Big ask, I'm sure we will drop points but the next few months could get even better if we just keep going. COYB!

Vincent

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I would say the toughest game there will be the Fulham away match. Apart from that no reason why we cant win the rest of them as they are all fairly average.

Alastair

Agree0 Disagree0

Not the worst run of the games like.

It's always hard to predict because this league is crazy but out of them I would expect around 15-18 points from 24 available.

Taking us into mid November with 34 points which would usually put you around 4th/3rd.

Bit much to expect but it's possible. COYB

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah - but look what happened after we got excited about our first two wins - manu and villa - bump back down with loss vs WBA cos Moyes went for the win (understandably) and then said later he should have settled for the draw

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think he said he'd settle for the draw, more like I tried to be more attacking!
There's a difference.

years but I welcome Everton to
Elland Road tomorrow.
You are a proper football team that
plays to its best with genuine fans. {Ed025's Note - cheers mate..

Mike {Ed025's Note - be nice mike..

Cheers mate. I like Leeds and it's sad to see what happened to you's. Just makes us blue's appreciate our chairman and realize he has probably prevented us from doing what Leeds, Pompy and Rangers did.
Good club Leeds and a club of there size should be in the premiership. Should be a good game tomorrow, i'd imagine we will play a slightly weaker side and the game will be really close, possibly extra time

Its great to be an Evertonian at mo! Enjoy every moment lads and lasses.
Lets just go with flow, enjoy, but remain level headed as expectation will soon start to build and with that comes a different type of pressure on our mighty blues.
We are playing quality football but more importantly everyone seems to know their role in team. Credit to the players, manager and coaching team.
Onwards and upwards!

Are we still on for vadis ofoe in january. If we can keep this run going it would be a nice boost to have a new face in january. Also if we are in for him have it in place so that when the window opens get him in early. {Ed025's Note - i expect him to join us in january..

Believable3 Unbelievable2

January is shaping up to be an important month if we continue in this vein. Without doubt need a central midfielder, if that is that VOO or not, who knows, but we definitely need one.

And hopefully with this start, Donovan is encouraged to join the team again and give us an even bigger boost, always seemed to join us when we were down and out and turned this place around, would love to see him join when the tema is already up and running, imagine the option we would have. The depth and more importantly the quality we would had at that position, I mean any combo of Fellaini, Pienaar, Mirallas, Naismith and Donovan would be immense.

How good does it feel after years of having a upper mid table team that were below the top 4 level to now see that Moyes has filled the gaps where we were lacking and now we have a good team front to back that we could put out against anyone?
I know we haven't got a full squad of 20-30mil players like chelsea man city etc but I honestly think our first 11 plus decent bench could give anyone a good game - the question is now - have we got the mindset to make that leap to go for the difficult wins against so called 'bigger clubs' - do we really think we can mix it with and beat the likes of arsenal and chelsea etc?
Enjoying being a blue at the moment - every game is massive!

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Hate to say it, as I thought Rodwell was an outstanding young man and a true Evertonian, but selling him has been truly amazing business for this club.

So happy this morning! walking into an office full of r/s and there mood matches the weather - my mood more like being on a beach in Spain.

1 thing about the 'shaky defending' of our boys. I think it is a learning curve for the defence as a whole to be so dominant. it is easy to keep shape when the match is even or we are up against it but when you boss a game and your wingbacks are getting forward it takes time to adjust to handle that situation on a consistent basis.

I think it is a few kinks to work out in training and with Leeds on Tuesday a perfect opp to boss another game and work on concentration in def.
