Just read Barkley is saying he wants to leave this summer. I say finally. Made me laugh because I think the penny has finally dropped he's made a howler not signing. I'd like to see who's going to pay his £100+k a week. None of the top half need him maybe only as a squad player at best. The rest who do see him as a decent signing won't pay that kind of money.

Disagree I think Barkley would be s great addition to most. Squads across Europe but that is ny opinion. The kid has been poorly advised.

Regardless I think he's silly leaving a boyhood club where he is loved it's a big gamble in his side. Especially the progress we are making as a club n force.

Everton the gear.

Maybe the lad just wants a fresh start somewhere else? He's been at the club for a long time, and I get that he's a boyhood blue, but sometimes you just need to get away from where you are as you feel stale and suffocated. Regardless of money etc, he may just want (need) to have a change of scenery. To be fair to the lad, he gets quite a lot of stick (a lot of it unwarranted and unnecessary imo) from the terraces, so I don't blame him. Whatever he does, I'm sure it's not from being badly advised.

I am baffled as why so many Evertonians think so highly of Barclay, still it is a game of opinions, let's get shut of him soon and stop asking silly money for him.

He hasn't become a bad player over night. Is only 23 therefore has a good 10 years ahead of him. I'm as annoyed as anyone that he didn't sign but he's one of our own so I will never slate him. Especially now, who knows he could end up staying yet. I wouldn't be bad mouthing him just yet.

I would still love him to stay, he does bring something different to the team, people say Sig will be better, yes he will in the role he plays Ross is a different type of player and still think he can add to the team and will benefit in what is happening.

Lukaku has now lost the respect of supporter, most where willing, I think, to understand his wish to play in the champions l, but afder his latest little bit of disrespect, most could not wait to see the back of him, EVERTON IS KNOEONES STEPPING STONE.

It wasn't a Chelsea arranged match, the advertising was just coincidence. I think this one is just innocent.

I think fans need to chill just because he uploaded a video and it was against Chelsea hoardings doesn't mean he disrespected our club Jesus some people need to take a step back and take a look at themselves although I agree he needs to be sold and it needs doing asap as players are back in training in a couple of weeks and I would rather hecwasnt part of any pre-season.

See Rom is endearing himself to the Everton masses again. Personally, not an issue for me that he wants to leave, or that he makes so many declarations/ inferences about his desire to leave, but puzzles me why these young lads publicise such matters knowing how fickle and unforgiving the average footy fan is, and how territorial footy fans are. stupid, arrogant, careless, poorly advised or all of the above? Play your footy and keep your head below the parapet, and your immortalised in clubs history. if not your vilified.

Err have you read the story of what the game is for?

Smitt. I have . but if you think there's nothing sublimable about the Chelsea hoarding in the background, nor that Rom meant to capture that then that's it your opinion. and your entitled to it. the point is that some fickle fans will see this and react. and given his continuous vocalisation about leaving. it does not surprise me by some of the reactions some people have. Personally, I don't care. I'll still be going long after Rom has left. I just think he should keep quiet and carry on. that was the main point of my post.

Since last season, I cut all ties with Lukaku, lost count the times I've said the sooner he goes for top dollar the better, there are only so many times a player can stick two fingers up to the fans, nothing to do with papers trying to make a mountain out of a molehill with the Chelsea boarding, that's just coincidence it had Chelsea all around the hoardings.

it's his past comments at every opportunity, get rid and bring in players hungry to play for our football club, scoring goals a must. Start the season on the front foot, out with players who are or do not want to be a part of our next phase, rebuild and move on from prima donnas.

He could have just been showcasing 2 amazing goals.
I too have had enough of the Lukaku show but don't think this had anything to do with a subliminal message, he ain't at Chelsea yet because they haven't deemed him important enough to put a decent bid in for him yet. Of they were so he'll bent on having him back the deal would have been done and dusted by now.

I agree baz. the not point I was trying to make though is that these young lads must know how a football fan thinks. so if you want to move. say it once and let the agents and clubs do the business. don't keep sticking the virtual two fingers up. as at some point some how it will back fire. even if it just means losing favour. which I think is what he was doing. He'll b a loss but like you I wish the circus would end. get the best deal the club can get, pat him on the back and send him on his way. if he does well fine, if not he's going to look a bit daft.

What do you guys think of a cheeky bid for loic remy, seemingly Chelsea are willing to sell on the cheap.

Hi ed other than Sandro are we close to making any other signings?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - And how woul "close" be measured?}

24 Jun 2017 13:29:39
It was a simple question why do you always feel the need to answer like that? It's just rude! You have been doing this long enough to be able to work out what "close " means, so frustrating!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Maybe I shouldn't bother at all with the Everton page?}

guessing he means are we talking directly to players and their agents after having a bid accepted or are we still in discussions with clubs to agree a fee.

{Ed002's Note - Thanks for clearing that up.}
