Shut down the site no one is coming in everyone is leaving no preseason tour the club is a laughing stock!
Fed up being barracked by all fans This Board is a joke and Bill Kenwright is the Archetech of our clubs doom....Wonder if Gillette and Hicks, Peter Johnson, Milan Mandric or Peter Ridsdale are available??

I cannot believe that any Everton supporter would ome out with such a diatribe of negative comments. Get a grip, or if your a Kopite go back to your own site.

Tour cancelled due to safty no the money. Do see hoy kenwright And the board have to do with players safety and them not paying us the money they said so stop mowing about the club not all clubs go on a pre season tour and if your really won't one them in charge of are great club you can not be a true blue

Ridsdale,Johnson,Mandaric,Hicks & Gillette couldn't organise the preverbial "P*^% Up in a Brewery between them ! They have all left a trail of distruction behind them wherever they've been. Abramovich may have multi Millions and has used them to BUY the League Title and the Cups, and yes I as an Evertonian would luv our Club to have that level of Finance.......but not from just any filthy rich foreign businessman who only wants the Club as a business to be sold on at the earliest possible ! The Yanks across the Park are now realising just what a financial mess they inherited and thought by giving Dalglish a Blank Cheque that all would be sorted........Wrong. Football in this country is in a mess and it is mainly due to the gross mis-management of incoming mega rich business men who haven't got a clue about running a Club. The bloke who bought Birmingham City was supposed to be a Messiah....within a few weeks after being "checked out" by the FA,he was in Prison and all his assets were frozen and Birmingham received a Transfer Embargo. Bill Kenwright has stated on many occasions that He will step aside if and when a SUITABLE BUYER comes forward and shows that He has the future of Everton Football Club & more importantly, its Supporters at Heart. I for one like many other Blues Fans am very frustrated at the lack of Transfer activity etc and am totally bemused that we have been unable to attract Investors/Buyers....but until that day arrives,I am completely behind Bill Kenwright and what he hopefully is trying to do,everyday behind the scenes. The Man eats, sleeps & drinks Everton FC and always has done....he may have made a few mistakes along the way,but who hasn't ? The so called Blue Prophet (of Doom) can't even spell.....Architect !!

Heitinga will NOT leave this summer. This is why, he has expressed how much he loves the club and that he sees himself as a future captain... Also he was our best defender/player last season and why would he leave the prem to a piss poor turkish league, it's just the media targeting out prized assets as they have already said Baines and Fellaini would leave... Just sh*t stirring.............

This is all according to the Daily Fail but they reckon that Fenerbahce have made a £5m bid for Heitinga and that Yobo moved there on Monday! Heitinga is apparently considering the offer as he is supposedly good friends with Dirk Kuyt who just moved there. They also claim that Everton are leading the chase for Houston Dynamo defender Geoff Cameron who I thought had already moved to Stoke and that Moyes wants Matt Phillips.

Not posted for a while ed! So the legend that is Timmy Cahill has left Everton.
Tough one to take but his time has come i suppose and he deserves every praise from Everton fans he is getting.
Icon, Legend, hero are the words that describe that man.
Represented Everton with passion, dignity and honour. Going to miss him but players move on and new players emerge so looking forward to the next "hero" "legend" in my era of being a Everton fan it was big dunc then tim so who's next!?
Hearing worrying rumours that the reason Yobo deal is stalling is because Fenerbache have informed Everton they actually want Heitinga for 4.5/5 million and Everton are considering it??
You heard anything ed of your sources, is it true?? AND finally what the hell is going on with Pienaar? Meant to be announced 2 weeks ago according to various everton websites!!!

OUT:
Bily £5m
Arteta £10m
Beckford £4m
Total:£19m
In:
Jelavic £5m
Gibson £500k
Pienaar LOAN
Donovan LOAN
Total:~£6m
But yet we still need £2m from the Yobo deal to buy Pienaar where the f*** is the other £13m?!
Absolute disgrace never mind "stop being negative blah blah blah" this is the truth our club is a shambles.

Conveniently forgetting Pienaar may or may not have attracted a fee for his loan spell (depending on Saha swap) but Straqs & Roysten definately would have, plus their wages. The above alone could be 3-4Mn over the course of one year. Jelavic's wage, Gibson's wage, Naismith's wage +all the signing on fees which can be 500K plus for each (probably more for Jela).

Not saying money is not being removed but lets present the whole picture, not just transfer fees.

NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE KNOWS HOW MUCH WE HAVE OR DON'T HAVE (FACT)
And to say where losing 5mil a year, we was, But with the new SKY deals, we are not losing money any more as it's a increase of 13mil each year, so to say we have to sell players is bull,
as take 5mil off 13mil leaves us 8 mil... so unless that's me being thick, where not losing money anymore, and for a fact, Moyes will not be held to ransom, so if Supds want to play hard ball, let them, but i think Moyes is just using the Peanuts deal as a smoke screen and will pull off a major cupe.
As no saw or knew about Fellaini, Billiyletenof(spelling).

So FFS just get behind the club and lets move on, and stop all this we have to sell as we don't and if some one leaves it's BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO BE HERE, and just be happy for what we have, As we could be Rangers / Portsmouth

just be proud to be a blue and get behind the club

Whatever, I got ridiculed by some a week ago by some for saying we had to sell and get people off our wage bill to secure Puenar because of the 4 year deal Nsismith is on and due to the FACT that I and lots of people have actually seen the Everton FC accounts over the last few years.
I am a fan like you, and I love Tim Cahill and I bleed blue, and I'm a glass half full type of guy but I can't dispute the figures in black and white mate.
Yes the new tv deal helps and so does the stubhub and the Nike etc but we are in debt and we owe money, and until the company/club can at least show it breaks even we will at least have to pay off our interest, when we do make a profit they will ask for more. It's technical but unlike Utd we don't have any physical assets anymore.
If you don't believe me the reason Spurs don't want to let Peanuts come back is because other teams are willing to outbid us.
Wake up smell the coffee, we have an awesome squad as it is and a lot to be optimistic about, Peanuts would be the cherry on top but we might not be able to afford him.
I have explained in more detail the accounts on here in a previous post.

Everybody should take a deep breath and calm down, there is a sense of hysteria creeping into a lot of posts. Every summer we go through the transfer merry go round and we never seem to get used to it. We should not be taken in by the lazy journalism that links us with players that Moyes has no interest in, or players who are trying to find a new club and use the old "everton are interested in me" story. Moyes will do the hischomework and we will pick up the usual bargains. As for the Pienaar situation, this is all of Pienaars making in the first place, I for one want to see him earn his move back by stating it is his only destination. If he allows Spurs to transfer him to another club then it seems obvious he wasn't that homesick for Goodison after all and we should count ourselves lucky. I believe Tim Cahill has been rewarded for his loyalty by being allowed to leave for £1 million. He could probably have continued for a couple more seasons with ever decreasing effect, however he would have stood in the way of younger players coming through and I would rather remember him as a great player and not sitting on the bench. He will once again be prolific in America and I think that is the best reward we can give him.

Popeye {Ed025's Note - cracking post that popeye..

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I think we should all eat spinach and come up with posts like this. i was surprised moyes took peanuts on loan last season. but we may never know if the bank forced us to cash in on him or if it was truly his desire. either way it needs sorting soon. im sick of hearing about this saga every day!

Believable0 Unbelievable4

Omg some of are fans are getting worse, just chill out guys moyes nows what he is doing so trust him he never lets us down.

Agree0 Disagree0

So much negativity so early in the window! I'm sure that the decision to sell Cahill was entirely Tims, hence the nominal fee taken as a reward for his excellent service to the club. I for one still think that Pienaar will sign, but I do suspect that Spurs have moved the goalposts. Part of the DNA of an Evertonian is our eternal pessimism, but I for one feel if we bide our time that we can all look ahead to the coming season with justifiable optimism.

Shropshire Blue. {Ed025's Note - at last!!..a bit of optimism..

24 Jul 2012 23:28:48
To the OP, you speak as if its all definite, as if you have a network of inside source!

let me re-phrase your moronic post into something more truthful:
Heitinga will not be sold. It is possible that the Baines saga will continue to the wire of the window..Heitinga fee will fund nothing as he isn't going and we won't need a replacement LB as Baines isn't going..Watch it unfold..

Sorry for the rant, negative posts like these are annoying! We should be positive and looking to build on the last half of last season! {Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Hold on, so if a post is regarded as 'negative' it isn't worthy of the site? Ridiculous! Rumours of players departures have as much reason to be here than that of those arriving. It seems to me the original post has more legs than the majority of which I see on here! (most conjured by football manager obsessives who link us with a player because he has a score of 15.7 for shooting and scored for Yeovil in the champions league 2026... To call the above statement 'moronic' is naive... Ironic that echoing stories being reported in the paper brought on a RANT, yet the countless made up names of players from the Kenyan division 3 slip through your filter sir. A rumour is a rumour sure, bad or good. I for one think the idea of Heitinga and Baines leaving is a shocking reality.. Infact I'm quite sure one of them will...

Sad to see Cahill go what I don't understand is yes it was not his best season last year but just because he is 32 everyone thinks he is past it. It annoyed me when that's what people where saying but gbh Gerard across the park is the same age and no one is doubting him. Scholes was still effective fom the bench for years but even more important I hope we don't regret his impact in the dressing room because we all know what his winning mentality is like and what the togetherness we have as a team. I am waiting to hear what DM says about him leaving with interest. At the same time In moyes we trust and I know he knows what he's doing and believe we will have a better squad than last season which we can't argue with good to see us doing our business early as well which is vital I think.

Sad to hear that Tim Cahill is leaving, but think it is the right time for him to move. I don't think he would have been first choice next season and he doesn't strike me as the type of player wanting to sit on the bench week in week out. If New York get him for £1m they have themselves a bargain. Free's up a large wage packet that can hopefully be used to secure another player.

One of the best, if not the best signing Moyes ever made. Thanks for the great memories Tim.

As more details of the Timmy transfer come out, its starting to feel like this was a move the player himself wanted, yes we couldve gotten more money for him and we couldve held whatever clubs wanted him to ransome over the transfer fee, but i like to think that the club has done right by Timmy, he's been a great servant and will always be a blue, he always gave 110% for the club. im glad the club didnt hold him back when he wanted to go, after all he couldve gone numerous times over the years, he had a lot of interest in him at times , but he always stayed a true blue!! Legend Timmy, you've given us so many great memories, your name will be spoken amongest thie likes of Lathford, Dean, Sharp, Shouthall, Watson, Royal,Sheedy youve earned that right and then some!!

I understand how Cahill was worth about a million, coz he is old, but if that's the reason then why are we paying 5 million for Pienaar when he's only a year or so behind Cahill. It seems quite unfair.

Maybe because Pienaar still makes a big contribution to the team, and Cahill stopped doing that 18 months ago.

Tim Cahill is a true blue legend. People saying that £1m isn't enough for him are right but I doubt it was about the money. I like to think Moyes has given Cahill his blessing and this is a token of Moyes' appreciation. Go and play where you want to Tim, you have done Everton and yourself proud! Can't see why Everton would sell Heitinga after probably his best season at the club. Everything seems to be going right for a change, where balancing the wage books, getting a excellent sponsor as in Nike on our kits and where bringing in the right signings. What a legend our tim. Think its a great move for him at this stage of his career. Best value for money ever. I think moyes is gonna push fellaini into that role of behind jelavic with naismith on the wing. With the Cahill deal only being for a nominal fee, does anyone else think it was not to free up funds... but was because he wanted to leave? Not because he doesn't want to be at Everton or anything like that, but because he knows himself his form has depleted and doesn't want to hinder the team he loves (hinder is probably the wrong word but you know what I mean).

I think this was the right move for him at the right time. He can see out his playing days where it's not raining all the time and maybe he'll come back to us on some level in the future. Obviously he will be missed by every Evertonian on the planet but him leaving will also be respected. That is something that doesn't happen often when players leave.

Does anyone know how it will work with Stubhub? I'm a season ticket holder (plus child) and holiday clashes etc sometimes mean you can't get to a game - how would you sell your season ticket seats for that game - when you have no 'physical' ticket to sell?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

You log on to the site, obviously you do not have a physical ticket but you do have physical seats. You simply state your seat numbers, stand, row etc and what game, you then pick the price you wish to sell those seats for, 5 quid or 100 quid whatever you feel they are worth or will get, then the person buys them. That person then goes to the starhub ticket office where tickets will be printed for him for that game in your seats. Simples

Timmy has given us 8 years of dedication, commitment and loyalty and I I love him for it. I believe that Everton should do something in order to show our gratitude, whether we retire the number 17 or rename a stand. Timmy you are a legend, not just for everton but for the premier league. You will be missed by every true Evertonian out there but we will always hold you in our hearts. I was upset when Arteta left, but this is completely different. You are my hero Timmy. I'll start by admitting I was wrong about Timmy and I apologise, believe me I am more shocked than anyone about Timmy leaving, it goes to show how quietly deals can be done behind the scenes as nobody involved in Australian football knew about it ( including close friends of Timmy). It seems to have been done very quickly and everyone over here can't help but think there is more to this deal, two things are being spoke about the first being a possible deal for Donovan and secondly it gives Tim an opportunity to earn more money to invest into the upcoming A league club. I will let you know more when I find out.
Never the less it's a sad day saying farewell to the legend that is Tim Cahill and no doubt he will be just as sad to go.

11th September 2004, I travelled up to Manchester with my step Dad to watch the blues play Man City, a week after a 0-0 at Old Trafford.
Before the game I was going on about that new player we had, I'd remembered watching him for Millwall in the cup the season before and I knew he was great in the air. After a good result the week before we were both optimistic on getting a result so We decided that we'd have him 1st and last goalscorer and both had a few quid on it each.
I can't remember it being a very good game but I remember this little dark haired man running around in his white shirt giving absolutely everything he could for our beloved club! I was overjoyed when he popped up with what would become a trademark header to put us 1-0 up and them absolutely gutted when he was shown a second yellow card and sent off for taking his shirt off In his celebration!
I was mesmerised that day by a certain Mr Tim Cahill and so began his love affair with our great club and us, as fans, with someone so committed to Everton Football Club he had us branded on his skin! (not to mention the few quid he won me for 1st AND last goalscorer!)
Today is a sad day for me, as I'm sure it is for many more Evertonians, at least now I know how my step dad felt when we sold Alan Ball all those years ago, but I genuinely believe this is the wrong decision and I feel absolutely heartbroken!
Tim Cahill you are a legend, you are my hero, you are Everton and you will be missed!
Mickey Blue Eyes

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Had his day. Never a midfieder, always rated highly because he could arrive in the box and score goals. Great at that no doubt but couldn't tackle and pass very well. Did nothing last season, never influenced the middle of the park by getting on the ball and making things happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Mickey I too am truly gutted by this news! Sure he didnt have a great year last year but looked much better towards the end of the season alongside Jelavic. Dont think his passion and commitment to this club will be replaced easily and his value to the club behind the scenes and in the dressing room should not be underestimated...
I believe that losing his good friend Arteta affected him more than anyone else at the club and perhaps was part of the reason for his poor form last year.
Anyway like I said very sad day for Everton! Best of Luck Tim!!
aflm78

Agree0 Disagree0

Being an Aussie, I loved Timmy, he has been an outstanding servant and he really did represent Everton brilliantly. But the time was right for him to leave, it suited Timmy as he is declining and was probably going to be on the bench and for Everton we couldn't afford to have one of the big earners on the bench, not to mention he was 32 and having a poor season.

The time was right, but I just feel in disbelief because I will never be seeing Timmy in the royal blue again, but thanks for the memories lad, you are a modern day Evertonian legend, good luck lad with everything you do, not only was he a top footballer, but a great great lad.

But as the saying goes, when one door shuts another window opens (or something like that) and now with the behind the striker role open hopefully a certain Mr Ross Barkley can step in and lead us into the future (and hopefully some trophies!!)

Liverpool have offered to sell Andy Carroll back to Newcastle Utd for free. Newcastle have reported Liverpool for threatening behaviour. Sailor

Hi guys, first time poster, however I have been an avid viewer of these pages for a long time and enjoy the banter(and chuckle) at the dodgy rumours of all our supporters! I have come on here most of all to wish Tim Cahill all the best for his USA adventure (and no, I am no Tristan!)

However boys, I still believe that the only positions we need to look at are RM and CF..maybe in the January market we could look for a new right back (although if you have a good CM and RM the RB is not too important...look at the Spain team!! arbeloa)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hi all, just want to contribute how I feel about our club...first of all, I dont think we need a right back ( at least for the next 2 years). secondly, I believe we need a right midfielder in the mould of Andy johnson or Pilllips and also and extra striker, maybe Defoe!!

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw Arbeloa misspelled as Areola once - well some people do think he's a bit of a tit.

Arbeloa is a quality RB though. You don't play for Real Madrid and Spain if you are no good.

So Tim Cahill isn't returning to Oz...just yet. Good luck to him in New York - although someone from Oz ought to be going to Kansas ;-)

Yes, his on pitch performances were declining, but never underestimate just how good of a team-mate he was, he made everyone feel welcome and really gave the club that family feel, case and point Jelavic, Cahill made him feel really welcome and comfortable, and had no doubt that it had a tiny bit to play in Jelavic's performance on the pitch. {Ed025's Note - i think we all have love and respect for timmy, an everton legend..

Tim Cahill - what a great Evertonian and what a great example of David Moyes's skill in the transfer market. While others dithered, DM brought him in and got eight great years out of him. Let's hope we get a few more like him.

cahill and yobo out
pienaar and the board put the rest to donovan ?? maybe what you think ed ?
Dan1 {Ed001's Note - I think you might be a little disappointed, that will all be needed for Pienaar alone! Though I would not rule out a move being made for Donovan just yet.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ed001 is it true we are going to move permanently for Donovan? {Ed001's Note - the club have been speaking to the MLS a while regarding Donovan, but the MLS are not keen on losing their big USA star from the league. They are trying to build up the MLS, Donovan is seen as a key part of it, that is why last season he only came on loan, despite lengthy negotiations to make it a permanent deal. I think the sale of Cahill is an attempt to ease the move through, there is a fairly sizeable Samoan community in the US that is not all that interested in football at the moment. Getting one of their own playing in the MLS could change that (before anyone says anything, I know he played for Australia, but he is Samoan).}

Tim Cahill has been a magnificent player for Everton and a superb ambassador for the club. I wish him every success for his time in the MLS.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Total tosser, shame on you. Evertonian.....my arse, your a disgrace. The man has given everything for this club and more. flogging his guts out when he shouldnt have been playing, coz the squad was too small and the team was s***e. The ammount of needles he's had, its a wonder he didnt fail a drugs test. You sicken me the way you speak of him.

Agree0 Disagree0

We all have our opinion, overrated on my view because he scored goals at crucial times, passenger in midfield. Don't call that bloke a tosser, sickens me why some people are so narrow minded.

August 30th 2004 I first watched him wear the royal blue jersey for the first time at old Trafford 8 years on and the number 17 hasa different meaning, the invisible man, the boxing Aussie, an icon&an inspiration. This evening is the en of an era. Farewell and good luck to Tim Cahil.
