This should be the first transfer of Martinez era, just what we need, whether we keep or loose fellaini to the buy out clause. If his injuries are as bad as we suggested they might be he could play half a season with ozzie playing the other half. For the pennys worth as well how good is the guy Douglas or Manga. I've seen we have been linked with a number of Cb's as well as Alcaraz and wondered if anybody knows much about these guys?

Seriously?. I bet no-ones seen him play more than a game or two and he can't even make the u-21`s first team.

If fellaini does decide to leave, hoping he doesn't but we do have to open our eyes to the possibility, who would guys like him to be replaced with? We have to keep in mind that fellaini is both an attacking and defensive player for us. Maybe with the money we get for him we could buy fer aswell as give honda a good wage and a signing on fee. there's also the possibility of wanyama. Would you guys be happy with him as a replacement? Why buy Fer and then not put him in your starting 11? play a 4312 replace moses with fer in the middle! we would still have ossie peanuts rossie oviado big vic on the bench ( personally think we need a striker would take bent for the cheap option like )

ross barkley and john lundstram tonight are both just wow compared to the rest of the pitch, hopefully martinez will build around these two being the future midfield pairing at goodison, very impressed by both, lundstram breaks up play beautifully and barkley just seemed to be getting more and more confident from minute one

Too much time on the ball in these matches compared with PL.

Lundstram is a good player and would be good for the future. But ik not sure how you can conclude he was good in that game vs Iraq because he wasn't and that was mainly because of him being played out of position on the right side of midfield. He would look good or better when he is played in his correct position because he does have the attributes you spoke about but didn't really get a chance to show that in that game

BELO HORIZONTE, BRAZIL - Keisuke Honda hinted at a big club transfer this summer after Japan wrapped up its Confederations Cup campaign on Saturday.

Honda, who has half a season left on his contract with CSKA Moscow, had a solid tournament, although Alberto Zaccheroni's side lost all three group games to Brazil, Italy and Mexico.

Honda didn't say which teams he has been talking to, but did say opportunity is knocking. Reports out of Italy have the left-footed midfielder headed to AC Milan, a club he has been linked to in the past and one which Zaccheroni led to the Scudetto in 1998-99.

"I don't know where I'll be taking the next step yet, but I know I've got a chance (to play for a big club), " Honda said. "I have until August so I'll wait and see.

"If I go to a big club, I'll become an infinitely better player. The improvement I'll make then will be anything but minor. I'm the type to soak up everything and anything in my surroundings, and if I play with better players, I'll get better. It's how I've been able to get this far in my career. "

Not a rumour, but is anyone else watching England under 30's, Barkley by far the best player on the pitch. I know it's only Iraq but hopefully he"ll kick on now, let's hope rm gives him an extended run. Sav efc

He's not a wide player that's like moyes claiming Naismith could also play on the wing. I'm sure he can play out wide but it doesn't mean that's his prefered position and he didn't look too comfortable out wide

not sure but think as the player is entering the last six months of his contract he can sign a pre contract agreement with another club. bit like lewis holtbys situation, just spurs paid a fee to get him early.

I think your missing the point. If we want him now we will have to pay a small fee as I can't see the point waiting for 6 months, we want him now not in 6 months time.

There are plenty of sites posting regarding this, due to his club playing the season differently to ours he can leave on a free this transfer window

Im looking forward to this tournemant we have 5 or 6 players I watched u21s and they were awful the its starting to filter down from the top the way we play we need something to give us hope for the future looking forward to watching barkley play hope they play with freedom let them express themselves

Some fans are saying we should be going for the Champions League, but how on earth are we going to get there if we sign the likes of Di Santo, Alcaraz etc? We should be aiming higher than them

Mate the transfer window isn't actually open, about 5 PL clubs have signed someone & we've got like 3 months to sign some players! Stop getting worked up!
