Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

I usually read this site constantly and have done for the last couple of years, so I decided to start posting, I just wanted peoples thoughts on the way Martinez uses the loan system if they are favourable towards it personally I like it but feel we need 1 marquee creative player or defensive midfielder to secure our hopes of 4th.

Also who would people like to see come in to the club in:

striker role:

creative midfield/winger role:

defensive midfield role:

be realistic I don't want any messi's or Ronaldo's ;)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Traoré for ST
Matuidi for DM

Agree0 Disagree0

Hmm I don't know if Matuidi is realistic imo, but I do think we need tat next class player who can change games, because Liverpool have coutinho/suarez, Chelsea hazard/Oscar/willian Manchester United mata

I know it is un realistic of us to spend 20 mill on one player but I think for us to become a big force in this league we need that sort of creative player

Matuidi? aren't there many teams after him like borussia dortmund, arsenal even real madrid plus small clubs like chelsea and Man Utd? We have no chance

Do we not have the two best young game changers at our disposal in barkley and del boy. Who would you like to replace? I honestly think del boy is going to be around next season as barca clearly don't need him straight away with having messi and neymar playing in his role. I also wouldn't swap barkley as I honestly believe he is the closest england are going to get to gazza than we are ever going to see for a long time. Priority for me is getting a striker who can be arsed running the lines, solid enough to hold the ball up for our creative players to get involved and most importantly knows where the onion bag is. Not necessarily a 20+goals a season striker, but certainly 15 goals at least as we can ship the remaining goals required from our midfield and defenders. Who that striker is I do not know, but I'm sure our scouting network could find one. Afterall they did find coleman, jags, baines etc!

"small clubs like chelsea and Man Utd?"

Someone's a bit delusional, eh Swan

Agree0 Disagree0

That's a bit harsh Mike, Man U a small club, though I'm fairly certain you were being sarcastic? Chelski on the other hand, I agree with. Awful, plastic club buying success and will always be small compared to Everton.

Here's a thought maybe Bill doesn't want us to finish top 4 as he would have to spend more on strengthening the team and pay more in wages. Safe to finish 5th and play in lesser cup and still be in Europe. As I said it's just a thought.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Some thoughts are better left to yourself!

Agree0 Disagree0

What a daft thought, let's hope they are like dreams and the opposite will happen, c'mon you Blues and good luck on Saturday, GuernseyBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed! Income from CL is many tens of millions paying for all that we would need

Agree0 Disagree0

It's only millions if you get through the qualifying round for finishing fourth, and sorry but I thought this was a banter page. If we are going to be serious then we have no chance of finishing in top 4. West Brom game wasn't a glitch, our form has been slipping for a while now. We need all our best players playing as we lack strength in depth.

Nope no chance whatsoever, this is the optimism of fans after one game, totrenham always crumble and utd are crap, guess its liverpool for top four then and us needing to stay in the top ten!, jeez guy liven up

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't understand why we are not after Steven Defour, I think he would fit in with our style of play

According to Twitter Traore's Agent has said that Monaco will still honour the loan deal despite injury to Falcao. Hope this is true!

If we sell Barkley for a stupid price like 30-40 kenwright is in trouble. He needs to make a stance now and say not unless u break bales record. I for one don't want him to leave for any money. Kenwright take a look at Daniel levy at spurs. He takes no crap and you can't afford to let this happen. I don't think he will be able to ride this one out, Barkley is going to be world class and we need to be back in the big time, selling your best players to line your pockets won't do this, so if you say u love efc like all us fans stop the rumours now

Come on PC break Bales record ha ha, let's see how his world cup is first mate, hopefully he has a stormer then we can talk Galactico money

Agree0 Disagree0

PC got the Bale link of Martinez. He has said they will only sell if a bid is higher the Bale's in a press conference. In other words he's not leaving so don't go rubbishting yourself!

Agree0 Disagree0

What I mean is roos will be one of the best and you don't sell if u have ambitions.

What does rubbishing yourself mean Josh

Now as everybody knows, I am always right. So here are a few predictions of what will happen within the next 6 years.

*Bill Kenwright attempts to change the name of the club to 'Everloan'. The FA immediately agree to it.

*Man Utd will sign Evertons brilliant right back for £15m. Tony Hibbert will wear the number 2 shirt vacated by Rafael.

*Man Utds bid of £26m for Evertons' England attacking midfielder is accepted. Leon Osman is delighted to join.

*Real Madrid sign David De Gea for £10m. Man Utds attempt to replace him with Jan Mucha is blocked by the FA on the basis that it would be unfair on the rest of the Premier League. Manchester United instead sign Tim Howard for £18m.

*david moyes finally wins a major trophy. OK, this one is far fetched and has no chance of ever happening.

We have been linked to a lot of strikers and I would like Traore if we can get the deal done but one who I would like is Abel Hernandez. What do you reckon Ed025?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - I don't know enough about him to judge really mate..

23 Jan 2014 10:11:13
Well Ed,
What's our budget like and what's the television money like at the end of season

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - very healthy I believe fitz, but we have to be careful not to spend the lot, as we still operate at a loss..

23 Jan 2014 10:33:28
So Bobby has said in his press conference this morning that if we manage to tie up the Traore deal then he expects that to be the end of our business this window.

Do we think that this is the truth, or just a smoke screen from behind which he will produce another diamond?

Thoughts please Blues.

BD9

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Quite possibly he doesn't want to raise expectations to high that there is disappointment by the close of the window, I expect he is working on buying but clubs are unwilling to sell in this window

Agree0 Disagree0

I think he is waiting until the summer transfer window as the players he wants are not available this window hence another loan signing

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Jan 2014 09:39:16
things are quiet on the transfer front, this is going to be a bad time to play the reds no coleman, pienaar, barkley, delboy, lukaku is badly out of form, we need at least a cm and a striker for tuesdays game and I can't see it happening

Believable0 Unbelievable0

23 Jan 2014 14:05:06
we need to use Saturdays game to get the team right,

Mcgeady needs a descent run out in the cup game, Mirallas playing as a second striker with Oviedo and Mcgeady wide

I've still got me fingers crossed over the Traore deal Monaco Riviere and Martial plus few more forwards so there shouldn't be a problem
