Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

With everyone fit next season moyes will have some selection dilemmas and the makings of a very good squad. We are only short up front and i am sure moyes will sort that out for us.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

I just hope we don't have our annual injury crisis, saying that though we usually play better when we have loads of injuries.

to all the koppites who feel the need to flood our page with rubbish, do yourselves a favour and stop, we all know this season will be another flop.

to all the blues, just think if we had 80m to spend like the sh*te have (in 6 months), we would be a lot closer to winning the league than they would. one day the tide will change and we will have money to spend, then we can really put them to shame, stay stong and stay loyal, come on you blues! {Ed011's Note - They visit most of the team pages making comments, thats probably why a lot of people have a go at them on the main football page

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I think everton can compete with liverpool and spurs next season for top 6 places, we can definitely take points off those teams

Agree5 Disagree2

Agreed. A good start is essential though. The last few years we have given ourselves a mountain to climb. With the addition of a couple or three players and a little tweeking of the squad, top 6 is more than achievable.

Agree2 Disagree0

Get long/djalo in, also get a winger in too, would like cover at the back but there is no point spending money on people when we have duffy/garbutt/bidwell/heit there for the rare occasion when jags/distin/baines gets injured

Agree4 Disagree0

Do we usually have a bad start because we always have easy pre-season warm up games? Wy do we always play lower league teams? Why not play some decent opposition and be up to speed on day 1?
The only decent team we played last year was the german team and we lost after beating all those easy teams. Who arranges these pre-season games at everton? They need their backside kicking to get some decent opposition lined up in the final two or three weeks before first game.
We play lower league teams who are delighted to be playing a tough higher league team before their season starts - so it makes their own league opposition feel easier afterwards by comparison. We play easier teams and stuggle when we then come up against premiership teams and it takes us a cople of months to get up to speed. We should be playing champions league sides (i.e. those who fancy 'doing an everton' and warming up against an easier side).

Donovan WON'T return to Everton, despite being fantastic he simply is too old and I know Moyes only buys players who will have a larger re-sell value and Donovan simply doesn't give us that. I'd like to see N'Zogbia and Sturridge signed soon though and i'd be 100% happy!

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Agreed, I suspect most fans will be happy if our only two signings are Sturridge and N'Zogbia. Getting those two on board will personally make my year.

Agree9 Disagree0

We will also have a fully fit squad to choose from hopefully as well, our good run happened when quite a few players were out with injury last season

Bothroyd to sign for celtic (thank god) and DM to instead focus on shane long

Believable3 Unbelievable0

The only disappointment about not signing Bothroyd is that he would have made a decent squad member for not much money. Going to Celtic? He obviously has no ambition or belief in his own ability to cut it with the finest! They won't pay decent wages up there either.

Agree2 Disagree1

He want's to be a big fish in a small pond, rather than a squad player in a decent league. Championship quality at best and he know's it. {Ed011's Note - He is not tough or hardworking enough to play in the premier, he doesn't put himself about on the pitch enough

ED you should do your duty and remove this Konchesky rubbish, obviously red sh.te talking rubbish {Ed011's Note - Listen mate, 9 times out of 10 i would have blocked that, but at the same time it shows them up as the saddos they are that they have nothing better to do. If it brings the blues out in force to shoot them down that is good as well. Lets give it the reponse it deserves, we are not too far behind them matey, i would prefer to have our defence and midfield then theirs

Believable10 Unbelievable0

Ed, totally agree with ya. Plenty of banter in my office with a couple of reds who when pushed, couldn't give many reds that would get in our team {Ed011's Note - It is usually friendly banter, it just makes it sweet when we get a good result against them.I am mates with plenty of reds and on the whole its just good natured banter, although they do set themselves up for having the p**s taken out of them as they are very delusional about their team.

Give Osman 1 more season to prove himself???! Do you go to any games mate. It was only for Osman in the last 2 months of the season that gave us any chance of getting near the reds**te. He made Arteta look quite ordinary in comparison. We should do everything we can to get Ngzogbia, Rodwell going is the answer, as his potential is still only that and we cant afford to wait for it to blossom, squad wise.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Osman was in the running for our player of the season, he contributed all round the pitch when we really needed him because of the injuries and his header against city was unbelievable

Agree7 Disagree0

In my humble opinion, Ossie's best game was away to Wolves. Different class.

Agree6 Disagree0

Osman is a quality player who works harder than most players he loves the clubs passion and can score goals.

Agree4 Disagree0

I like Osman too but he does miss a lot of opportunities in the box. Somehow he seems to panic on a shot sometimes and skies it over or a yard wide. The funny thing, because of his positioning and awareness, he gets 4 or 5 chances a game and maybe nets one of them. Scoring once is still great - but you hold you head sometimes and think 'how did he miss that one?'. Bit more composure maybe and he'd score a few more.
Would a bit more shooting practice in close box situations where the ball comes at him quickly do any good?

I hope we keep our home form from the second half of last season. We were struggling to break down sides up until christmas, but we didn't lose a home league game in the second half of the season, it will help us build up a run to get in the top 6 if we can start next season in the same way

Believable7 Unbelievable0

We say this every year!

Agree6 Disagree0

Personally I think the reason we never start a season well is because we don't perform under pressure or the weight of expectation. By the time the second half of the season comes and we're out of the cups and in the mid-table safety zone we start to play with more freedom and put a god run together.

as much as we need new signings.....i feel that its just as important, to get rid of the dead wood..that is bleeding our great club dry, ....this is my opinion of who, and why. yakubu......lazy & overweight.......yobo....lacks ambition &motivation.....anichebe....has never progressed.......hibbert...just not good enough....billy...inconsistant & homesick.....these are first in the firing line, i would also be giving rodwell & osman one final season to prove themselves....so david...if you feel you need my assistance....dont hesitate to contact me.

Believable10 Unbelievable5

Osmans been great for us over the years mate.allways tries 100%

Agree8 Disagree0

Next to Baines, Osman was our best player last season. He's so under-rated. He has proven himself again and again, there is no way Moyes will sell him.

Agree9 Disagree1

Sometimes trying...just isnt enough, he had a good last 8 games...where was he for the first 3/4 of the season?

Agree2 Disagree8

Osman and Hibbert are loyal servants to the club and give 100% EVERY game, very underrated players and I would hate to see them leave

Agree7 Disagree2

I'm joining the Osman debate. He was different class after Peanuts left. Bily should've stepped up to the plate to fill that space on the left in front of Baines but it was another right footer in Ossie who put the legwork in in training, was given the chance and delivered consistently. So get off his back and take more notice when you go to games.

Agree6 Disagree0

Osman and Hibbert are both loyal servents to the clubs we definetly shouldn't sell either. Also Hibbert can't leave until he's scored!

Agree4 Disagree0

Osman and hibbert have contracts at everton for their whole careers according to moyes last season {Ed011's Note - Two great lads who will always fight for our cause

I think moyes will offload the yak and yobo and then start his dealings. I am confident our big names will stay and we can add quality through moyes shrewdness in the transfer market.I think n'zogbia and a top quality striker on loan we can challenge for the top 6 next season.

Everton are interested in Paul Konchesky after Liverpool inquired about Jack Rodwell Moyes is willing to sell as he needs the funds and believes that Konchesky can be a good squad player man utd also want Rodwell but Liverpool are the only ones who would be willing to stump up

Rodwell is happy to move to either Man utd or liverpool as his wages would treble

Landon Donovan agent is trying to negotiate a deal for his release sale from La galaxy to allow him to resign for Everton.

Get real, never happening!!! post on your own rumours site red s...e!!

Believable6 Unbelievable11

Paul konchesky is rubbish so no way, also rodwell will not be joining the kopite gobs**tes coyb

Agree12 Disagree0

Rodders to join that lot?? Have you been drinking? As for Konchesky joining, not a chance! Id love to see Donovan back but I just can't see it happening. Is there any more news about this supposed takeover/investment. Desperate to get the first signing in!

22 Jun 2011 19:16:35
hi ed, can you do us all a favour and not post the stupid suggestions people have recently done, i mean come on paul konchesky to us and rodwell to the sh*te, hes obviously a koppite who thinks that they are the next best thing because they have spent 80m in 6 months on 3 players, this time next year they will be around the same place in the league (europa spot) and so will we (which isnt bad considering we never spend anything) come on you blues, koppites stick to your own board {Ed011's Note - Don't bother yourself about the norwegians, they have spent too much money on average players and are delusional enough to think they will win something next season.Lets laugh at them and take more points off them next season

Believable9 Unbelievable0

I agree Ed. They spout rubbish

Henri Saivet good friend of Magaye Gueye could be on his way looks quality and is only young, would only be cheap aswell, Nzogbia left, Gueye right, Saivet upfront were going all french haha i feel like arsenal.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Gueye is a left sided player, therefore he will not play on the right, coleman will

Agree4 Disagree1

He could play on the right with Coleman in behind as the over-lapping full-back.

Adebayor + cash for Rodwell

Doubtful but I'd definitely take that adebayor is quality!

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Could happen Adebeyor will be sold in the window anyway so this would be a good move for both parties.

Agree3 Disagree3

Never going to be able to pay his wages.

Is it just me or does it seem that with the players we are being linked with that moyes will continue with a five man midfield. You have to admit we have been linked with alot of them compared to fowards. Kayal, king, nzogbia, defour, kranjaer etc. {Ed016's Note - If we have attacking wingers such a nzogbia it would work. Although these midfielders could suggest that one of our current is leaving

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Ed..i must disagree...wide players and creative midfielders are great....but in the end...you need someone who can convert the chances...into goals. thats why our first priority must be a striker

looks like we have missed out on bothroyod bookies stopped taking bets on him joining celtic (ed anything new about the blues ) ? {Ed011's Note - All quiet at the moment, it would not be a big loss to lose out on bothroyd, i am sure moyes has other targets

Believable5 Unbelievable0

I think we should sign obasi from hoffenheim, or even yannick djalo, although we are apparently i the race for borrielo as he has been told he can leave {Ed016's Note - Djalo is brilliant i wish moyes would have a rethink

Agree2 Disagree0

If moyes really wanted botheoyd, he would of had him by now

Agree3 Disagree1

Moyes won't get anyone coz we can't afford to buy anyone until get taking over

Agree2 Disagree1

Djalo is apparently happy at Sporting

sturridge loan, long 5m, brown 3m, wright phillips, micheal johnson for rodwell and cash, boothroyd, neil taylor in for free. by selling rodwell we will get all these players and still make money

Believable0 Unbelievable6

Would much rather sell Rodwell 20-25m and Buy Nzogbia 11m, Long 5m, Bothroyd free, Sturridge loan, then the money from Yak 4m, Yobo 3m, Bilyaletdinov 5-6m, Pienaar 3m, Vaughan 2.5m buy Donovan and someone else possibly Krankjar

Agree0 Disagree1

Why would you want brown? and neil taylor costs £1m

Agree4 Disagree0

Productive discussions were held yesterday re: Yobo's move to Turkey. Compromise of around 4.25m. Moyes is to use this cash, along with Vaughan money, as a down payment to try and tempt N'Zogbia who returns from holiday soon. Wages could be astumbling block. The search for a striker could well take until deadline day as Moyes' targets for a permanent transfer are being placed out of EFC's price range. Moyes would like to land Sturridge or Welbeck on loan but faces stiff competition from other clubs.

Moyes will listen to offers for Mucha and Bily but will only sell at the right price. If they can be sold Moyes may well have the money to move for a striker on a permanent deal.

Moyes would also like a defender who can play both centre back and left back.

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Like Upson you mean

Agree1 Disagree3

I really hope all of this stuff is correct, would LOVE to see n'zobgia at everton - we havent signed a big player since lescott left :/

Agree2 Disagree0

Where on earth has the money we got from lescott gone? Surely we should have some left

Agree1 Disagree0

Bily - 10m/heitinga - 6m/distin - 6m

Agree1 Disagree1

Not Upson! We will never get 10m for Bily will get 6m at best. Distin is too old to fectch 6m. Plus we cannot sell off too many. Yak, Yobo, Bily and Mucha are for sale. Maybe Heitinga if the price is right. It will take big offers to tempt Moyes to part with Rodwell or Fellaini. I strongly agree with the original post.

ed any good news in the grape-vine lad.. btw ed coleman cost 65k from sligo he is now worth 10 mil easy in my eyes {Ed011's Note - Nothing new this morning, there is talk anichebe could be moving on, but as yet no fresh rumours

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Sky Sports News have announced Seb Larsson having medical at Sunderland. Quite pleased with that. He's not very good...

Agree4 Disagree2

Are you crazy, seb larsson is quality - and he has some long range free kick I tell you

Agree1 Disagree4

If he's that good, why has he gone to Sunderland then? He's not good enough for us

Agree3 Disagree0

Well if a player who loses the ball every time he touches it is worth 10 mil - then I must be worth 5m as I only lose it half the time! :)

Agree3 Disagree0

10mil? he is free, and he is moving to sunderland because that is probably the best club that has came in for him AT THIS TIME, as clubs are sorting out other deals atm and he wants to move quick

Agree1 Disagree0

They're welcome to him.

Everton in talks with the bloke that wanted to buy a 51% stake in West ham. He's offered Earl, Woods and Kenwright £2200 per share making the value of the club around £72m.

The owners who are in contact with Philip Green are holding out for £4k per share but it's thought an agreement will be reached

What a load of TOSH!!! As far as anyone outside the club is concerned, no one is lining up to buy us. This flight of fancy of yours; £2200 a share!!! Please stick to facts not fantasy. If we are taken over, we will be the last to know and it will be reported. BlueJeff
