Hey Ed 025 watching Wolves v Liverpool last just showed what we and many other teams in the Premiership are missing, a first class striker to me that was the only difference between both the teams, Liverpool's defence was very jittery and nervous when Wolves got close to goal and Wolves like us had a few great chances to score but never put them in the back of the net, but we have no Mo Salah or the like to finish them off that guy is so clynical in front of goal, if Marcel could unearth such a gem it would take us to the next level, i know we are a team in progress and the transition from last years absolute dross has been fantastic but we are so close to challenging the so called big boys of the League, please Mr Moshiri what a Christmas present that would be.

{Ed025's Note - salah is class GB but they are strong sat the back as well, they play as a team and are very hard to break down, we are not at that level yet mate but hopefully it will come. i really think we will get a result tomorrow..

Hope you are right, one thing Spurs don't do is travel well, bring it on mate.

When was the last time Spurs lost away GB? Make no bones about it they set up well and are a very difficult Team to beat. Their weakness until recently has been Wembley and their strength has been away. Don't get this, they don't travel well bit. Like Ed25 I believe we will get a result, but it will be a hard fought draw. One thing is for certain we need to get this period out of the way, hopefully bring in someone like Rondon, who can put themselves about a bit and take the chances offered from our fast attack.

If we only have enough money to buy a player, what position and who, but remember we won't be buying Messi, Ronaldo ECT, keep it to what our budget will be
I'd go with a striker, Jamie hardy.
Think with our quick attacking formation, and him knowing and proving himself in the premiership, think he would be a great addition for a couple of years.

i agree striker is priority, only thing putting me off vardy is the age, if wer going with a stop gap for a year or two ad rather us go for edin dzeko but as i said further down my ideal choice would be sebastian haller mate he's top draw and only 24.

Dzeko is a year older than Vardy Johnny, but agree with both Vardy and Dzeko, both would be great additions.

I would go one further and sign the guy from Leipzig or try and arrange a swap deal with Lookman and bring one of the two above mentioned in as well.

Need someone in order to put the chances away because as of this moment we are 11th and this after only 17 games. The football is there but progress in terms of climbing the table is not there.

good shout dentie, and nev. i know dzeko is older, but that's what am saying, i'd rather us go young, but if we're going 30 plus for a year or 2, i'd rather someone like dzeko than vardy.

I think Vardy would fit in well, our build up play will give Vardy enough time to get into the box, still a few years left in Vardy yet.

Be interesting to see where we would have been in the league now with a proven scorer putting away the chances we have missed this season.
