Ill probably get slatted for this but the more I think about Lescott the more i'd have him back. The jags/lescott partnership was awesome, there's still a good 3/4 yrs in them plus he would have to play some seriously good games to win us back. A good summer if felli/heitinga goes would be lescott, mccarthy, sinclair & chadli. Imagine an attacking trio of sinclair, mirrallas, chadli behind a striker. Real speedsters.

Paddy If Joleon really wanted back,

then ffs let's have him back he is class

and why he isn't a MCFC regular is

beyond not just humble me but a whole

lot of pundits journalists and dare I

say it the England manager himself.

And btw good post mate.

The present England manager has capped several nuggets, and is also the same manager who bought paul konchesky and christian poulsen for over £10m whilst at the rs. So he's hardly a great judge of a player

with fellaini and pienaar out for next 2 games people saying we should play oviedo which I agree but if back fit I would play jags at right back and seamus in front with mirrallas up top and oviedo on left. jags would add more height against stoke and him and seamus could double up on bale. ED thoughts? PADDOCKBLUE

Believable3 Unbelievable10

If Moyes goes in the summer you should go for the job lol not bad thinking mate not bad at all.

Agree0 Disagree0

What jags at right back up against bale yeah great idea NOT! It's been proved jags at right back doesn't work anyway, and why would you want to move coleman when he's playing well and available just madness.

Agree0 Disagree0

Leaves johnny at centre half against a physical side. Recipe for disaster. Why play your best centre half at right back? Coleman runs down blind alleys when playing right mid and is playing well at full back so leave it be. Mirrallas can effect the game more from midfield, and bale will roam all over the pitch so hard to double up on!

Agree0 Disagree0

Instructions to Coleman against Tottenham: jump down, turn around, kick a Bale to stop 'im. {Ed025's Note - love it wingnut..

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha mike jags did a good job at right back against west brom and I don't want naismith right mid which is what will happen and give mirrallas a free role behind the striker and he will destroy PADDOCKBLUE ps I bet your a right barrel of laughs u

Agree0 Disagree0

Sheffield blue jags is not r best centre half distan is, and I would put coleman right mid for 2 games so naismith doesn't play PADDOCKBLUE

Agree0 Disagree0

I will definatley get slated for this but i'd play Neville at RB against Bale, crap most of the time but always seems to have Bale in his pocket

Agree0 Disagree0

Distin / jags both miles ahead of heitinga though. What about Coleman at rb still and give Barkley a go at right mid? I agree I think playing Naismith is a waste of time. I just think we look really good across the back with baines jags distin Coleman there. Coleman will have the odd bad game as he is young but heitinga has really struggled with physical centre forwards this year. I just hope he gets it right as I live in stoke and will have to go in hiding if we don't win!

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair play sheffield blue I just think coleman rm, oviedo lm and mirrallas in the hole for the next 2 games would give us a lot pace to break, especially at spurs plus oviedo and coleman will help defensively PADDOCKBLUE

Agree0 Disagree0

He doesent play left wing anymore. which will be a nightmare unless we man mark him out uf the game.

Another reason why moyes should do one for making stupid statements like osman has been carrying us all season the man really is a bell sometimes.

Believable12 Unbelievable14

Ding Dong - you're so wrong.

WingNut

Agree0 Disagree0

Osman carrying the team all season?

Leon is a very good player and when has a mind to ala Man. City match, he can look truly exceptional.

But ''carrying the team all season'' that my fellow Blues is a gross overstatement and should be taken purely as dressing room spin.

Everyone wants kenwright to sell but I don't see why we should want him to our club is pretty stable compared to others and others who have been bought just turn into a laughing stock which the owners and making quick money out of it. At least bill is taking his money slowly and keeping the debts low compared to other clubs in the prem with the sky deals and the sale oaf maybe felly we could move to the next step with our wonderful club we are doing exceptional with what we have got Nd I wouldn't swap out club right now for any other in the world we have ups and downs but overall everton is a great club even in the past few years the transfer windows are getting exciting now we have a sky reporter there these days so to all the people who are doom and gloom just take a loom at Portsmouth and Leeds they wanted "billionaires" they got there "billionaires" and look at them now stuck Ian downward spiral our club is great get behind the team the manager and the board

Would anyone have a bet on LUFC being in the PL next season?

The ''billionaires'' answer is a given and you can bet on that.

Everton Football Club is and has been treading water for far too long,

We need to push on from our current status and potential!

Blu247

Agree0 Disagree0

It will be to late when people on here realise we need a billionaire as we will be scrambling around in mid table in the championship in less than 5 years the way things are going, but you just keep believing Bill is doing a great job, and I notice how everyone only ever points out the bad billionaires that take over clubs and not the sensible ones. Why is that?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not bothered if it's not a man city type takeover, but the current board are not fit the chairman is lost in his own vanity with a yes man for a CEO. the rest of the board, well if anyone can tell me how they push the club on please tell. it might be a pipe dream for a takeover to solve the stadium and debts and so on. but a new board with a new plan which might take a long period but at least a plan would do me, because this board from a commercial and forward thinking point are useless.

To the last poster how do you work out that we are in the Championship in less than 5 years, what business school did you go to then.

We have a cracking team with some unbelievable talent i. e. Georgie Green etc and a manageable debt

Just had a great result at the weekend and are in a great place in the league yet you have just demoted us in less than 5 years.

I bet 75 percent of the leagues supporters would swap places with us and our terrible situation that we are in.

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

We have an aging team with no money to replace those players with only 2 sellable assets on the pitch that would bring in enough money for next season and then what who do we sell then? That's right we won't have anybody of any worth to sell and as for the young players you mention they are nowhere near ready and you only have to look at villa to see that young players are not the answer, so yes the championship is a Possibility in less than 5 years unless something is not done soon.

Agree0 Disagree0

Make that 93. 47% (if I've calculated it correctly), in terms of league position, as it stands, so it's not all bad.

Agree0 Disagree0

You say that the young talent is nowhere near ready? yeah sure maybe now, but in five! years i'm sure some of them will be ie barkley, kennedy, mcaleny, stone, green, the list can go on. to say we will be down in 5 years time is ridiculous, you should go back to your own page you RS!

Agree0 Disagree0

What's up mate does the truth hurt? Or do you always resort to calling fellow Everton fans RS when they don't agree with you?

Agree0 Disagree0

Heres an alternative posibility we qualify for the champs league sell a couple of players next season bring in a few more quality players win the champ leagues for the next 3 years get out of debt and play the Reds on the last game of the season and relegate them. So in 5 years time we are sitting pretty without a care in the world.

SA90 {Ed025's Note - im all for that mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

The board at everton needs a shake up maybe Moyes is trying to rattle a few cages by refusing to be a yes man as it is only his shrwed management on the
Pitch that has stopped a full scale revolt
Against bk his track record leaves a lot
To answer for kings dock we only needed 30 mil to seal the best deal we wil ever be offered he failed the fiasco of selling Bellefield to pay for finch farm
Then having to sell finch farm and rent
It back is beyond belief what happened to the Bellefield money he has also took
Out high interest loans from his so called friends that are now crippiling the
Club so now we come to the crossroads
We have all dreaded wil he sell our best
Assets and then not be able to match the ambitions of our manager who with
No big kitty to replace them would be
Vunruble to undo all his good work if
Things dipped next year which gives the Impression that Moyes does not want to end up bills fall guy and for this he must be applauded
