No what you mean ed big vic did come on and score 2 on Monday but I don't think he fits in to are new attractive way of playing

Dblue {Ed025's Note - i just think he could bully their defence a bit Dblue, he seems to be moyes,s second choice, vellios seems to be frozen out, and just maybe, he could finally be ready to step up to the plate..

Believable1 Unbelievable1

He only scored 1.

Mike {Ed025's Note - he scored 2 mike....but one was not given, because the big fat linesman had the eyesight of a mole!..

Agree0 Disagree0

The stats will only say he scored 1 though. And if the first one was given, the chain of events after that would have been totally different and he wouldn't have had a chance to score the 2nd.

Mike {Ed025's Note - your glass is always half empty mike....

Agree0 Disagree0

Usually it is ed, not this time though. I just don't like Anichebe (i've given my reasons) and I'm not giving him a goal that didn't count.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

By your reckoning he could of went on to get a hatrick
Jab EFC

Agree0 Disagree0

He could have Jab EFC. We will never know though will we.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to say Ed...VA has only impressed me as an impact player, when he plays against clever defenders they deny him the ball with ease or push him into a safe position and neutralize him, the result being his head drops with frustration.

He said he can learn off Jelly and Mirallas
lets see ...he is either making an effort to strike the right chords with his doubters or hopefully maturing into a valuable PL striker.

Evertonyn.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think this is part of the reason why Anichebe plays poor when he comes on the pitch and looks so devoid of confidence. You lot, the "fans" slate him at every opportunity.
We should back our players no matter what, I was at the Newcastle match in the Gwladys aswell and was shocked at such a great stand booing Vic when he came on!! (They weren't booing when he scored!
Give him a chance, he has stayed fit for 9 months now, the longest ever! and the facts say he has started 3 games being subbed on 12 times and scored 7 goals from January to September. That's decent.

Steve

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sure Mike isn't an Everton fan, his views on everything are against Everton....................

TC {Ed025's Note - i think he is TC...but he is a serial moaner..

Agree0 Disagree0

Also who as anichibe had too look upto since he has been with us yak was not really good at movement he was just a good finisher his goal against Newcastle was class and any top striker would be proud of it hopefully he will learn from Jelavic as his movement is fantastic and still believe anichibe has all the tools to succeed needs to relise his own ability as he is so powerful and should of win us the game we should be saying he won us 3 points again he did it last season on 3 occasions where is goals won us 9 points people don't see that though

Who else hates liverpool fc with a passion, it's great that we support them in their darkest hour and is great justice has now been done, that is us as a city. But I don't think it will take any sting out of derby games, if we win I'm still gona rub it in ther faces. There's nothing wrong with hating ur rivals. Kopites are Gobrubbishes. COYB {Ed025's Note - hate is a strong word, but rubbing their noses in it works for me..

Believable3 Unbelievable4

On a match day, I want nothing more than to beat them. Over the season, I give anything to finish above them. But I don't hate them. I respect them and the vast majority of their fans. As for rubbing their noses in it if we beat them, I can try, but somehow the multiple champs league wins dwarfs a premier league win. And they always have that in their armoury. So I say nothing, but my big grin would say it all.

Agree0 Disagree0

Above poster has nailed it. On match day, love the atmosphere and love getting one over on the rivals. But its because it hurts them more getting beat by us, we're always the underdogs and i like it that way.
Don't hate them, just pity the deluded ones, because every now and then you meet a genuine football fan.
Either way, would love to batter them both games this seaon and finish above them. Then i will be effing over the moon! IMWT Molly888 {Ed025's Note - me too molly..

PAKISTANiBLUE {Ed025's Note - i would give 47m away...to charities, friends. family etc...spend a million on roulette...get drunk every day, have loads of birds, and the rest i would waste..

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Im with Ed except I would only give 46 million to charity, Im a lot younger and need the extra million for extra birds

Degsycool {Ed025's Note - and wigs are,nt cheap either degsy..:)

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol, sounds good Ed. I, myself, would do something similar

Agree0 Disagree0

The girls love a big fat baldy head Ed

Degsy {Ed025's Note - thats me out then degsy....iv got a head like a lodging house cat!

Any truth or any chance of this Owen Hargreaves deal happening Ed? Personally I hope its true because he's not the worst player and he would be good back up!
GoodisonAlex {Ed025's Note - i cant see it alex...and would not want him to be honest..

How many goals would Big Vic have to score to stop him getting so much stick? With Jelly out for a couple of weeks there is a fair chance of him starting the next couple of games. If he scored in each game would his reputation rise enough for him to be considered a resonable backup striker or is his open play so frustrating that he still falls into the sell as soon as we get a decent offer category?

I would love us to go for Demba Ba in January. depends what happens with fellaini

Andy

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I would not want him he scored 2 goals that came from route 1 football need a natural finisher that's why I for one wanted owen {Ed025's Note - let me see....demba ba...or michael owen....hmmm...tough choice...not!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ba would cost how much and his wages our over 60k at Newcastle so yes this is the time we need cover and Owen would be perfect here and there as cover but I don't want us to spend 10+ million on someone who would not fit into our style of play and where would you play him and who would you leave out {Ed025's Note - owen for a start!

Typical isn't it we have a good start to the season then 2 of our key players get injured. this is why we needed to bring in a striker on deadline day. dont think jelavic will be near a goal post any time soon. Andy

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Its a blow but why so gloomy OS says he will only be out for 2 weeks - so he will only miss 3 games, one of which he would have been rested anyway (leeds in the cup). The difference from last year is that we now have Naismith, Mirallas and anichebe that can play up front and we have velios Mcaleny and gueye in reserve.

Hi guys, LFC supporter here. Just curious to know what you guys think of the shared stadium idea? I like the thought of our very own San Siro on Merseyside, but it would have to be spectacular, and I mean amazing, best stadium in the EPL. Otherwise I'd rather have our own. What do you think?

Sparky

Ps well done regarding your great start to the season, we have a superb derby day to look forward to. And thanks for the lovely tribute to our 96 on Monday night, I was in floods of tears watching that.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

I posted the other day about a shared stadium and I believe more people are coming around to the idea especially LFC supporters I think it makes perfect business sense and if we can make it the best in the prem then its a no brainer and maybe recent events have brought red and blue closer together again. I did like the Justice Stadium from Ed.

Robbie {Ed025's Note - i really believe it is workable robbie, stanley park being middle ground between the 2 clubs, is a perfect venue, the plans are already in place, and the selling of goodison and anfield would make a good hole in the finance of it..

Agree0 Disagree0

Makes sense as if it was joint we could have a far better stadium and would be less likely to get planning rejections because less people would oppose it!
BlueClarkey

Agree0 Disagree0

Cheers mate but i think the problem of a shared ground is the majority of your fans dont want it i personally think its the only option our 2 clubs will be left with but the problem i think is with your fans i have no problem with it and i think most evertonians dont either .stef the blue

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it's a great idea and financially sound, and taking from eds naming idea how bout calling it 'The Peoples Stadium of Justice', this incorporates both cllubs idiolog!

Kurajan

Agree0 Disagree0

I think LFC supporters will come round to the idea, I can see EFC's continuing support over Hillsborough really bringing the two clubs closer together, especially with your tribute on Monday. There will always be rivalry between our two great teams, but Monday night reminded us all the we are bound by one amazing city. I think that many LFC supporters are sentimental about Anfield, and would rather it was redeveloped than moving in with our neighbours. I used to be dead against the idea, I didn't want to lose our attachment to Anfield and all it's history and great moments that have occurred there, but it comes to a point where we have to move on, and this would be a great bit of business for both clubs. We can have our own entrances and keep our own identity. We can even still hate each other if it makes us happy!

Agree0 Disagree0

I have read rumours of a proposed development on Stanley park. A merseyside soccer city if you like. Obviously it would include a nice s****y stadium but would also have lots of other communal facilities to be shared by the people of merseyside. I would be very much in favour of sharing because I don't see how we could move any other way. The question is whether the red half need or want us, as a blue that's hard to say out loud but that is the reality.
