There's been a lot of speculation on the price being put on the club, but is it not true that if the price quoted of £225m is correct that is a price for all the shares in the club? If so any prospective buyer only needs to buy a controlling interest of £112.5m which is basically Kenwright and Woods stakes in the club i. e. greater than 50%. I'm not too sure on the law concerning takeovers and there might be a need to offer to purchase all the shares but I'm not an expert in company law. I guess all I'm saying is a prospective buyer could take charge of the club for as minimal a price as £125m if they really wanted, and not the £225m being bandied around.

You'd want to have a big mattress steverton. No one saying its a small amount of money steverton. Houghty is simply saying the figure being thrown about is exaggerated. And pointing out a different way to look at it.
