So word is we won't go for Dyche because he plays direct football, and not the tippy tappy shite we are used to.
Well sorry but I would love to watch direct football, with two wingers and a big striker/ strikers for them to aim at. Absolutely sick of this backwards and forwards rubbish we see now.
So I personally would have no problem with Dyche. Might even liven the old lady up.

very well said, we are too soft.

I would be happy with direct football, quick attacking breaks, not allowing opponents time to settle and organise! Instead of this 40 passes to get it into their half allowing them to get back and defend!
Well it’s what they all seem to do to us and it’s working!
For example just look at the goal Leicester scored against us.

Better than the dross we watch now.

can't agree that they only play direct football look at the goal they scored at goodison, if it had been Citeh you would be bored of watching it by now a it would be constantly repeated!

Not me saying this Wakka, it's what the media are saying. This in there opinion is why we are discarding him.
I personally think he would be perfect for us. We have the players, just need the right man to organise them.

If only we did play passing football, all I've seen all season is hopeful long balls from pickford. A few square passes from fullback to centre half then back to the keeper is not a passing game.

Mr Walsh appointed way above his level. Everton Board not singing from same hymn sheet. Koeman is a good Manager when things go well but not when a Club is suffering. Read his CV.

Only If we could get him on a Gazza. Pay as he plays. Good player if he could keep fit though.

Agree with Smit. One of the best natural finishers in the prem for me but there's a reason he's already been round the houses. Seems to rule himself out of games very quickly whereas we need players who will spill blood.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Nov 2017 20:59:18
Think your right mates, as you say too injury prone.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Nov 2017 21:06:00
Nope, decent finisher but badly overrated and lazy not to mention his awful injury record.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Nov 2017 21:59:04
Well we would not have the cost of housing him and he could get a bus to the ground. Why not if we struggle to get others?

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Nov 2017 09:57:56
No can't defend for toffee. We need to sort the defence out 1st. Mori should help when he's back but we need cover/ replacement for LB and a LM/ LW that can defend not just attack.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Nov 2017 14:00:53
We have one of the best DM's in football but his playing style and blood and thunder tackling leave him injured. Now if we could DNA Besic/ Sturridge we would have some player.

If the Northwest is the Hollywood of football, then why is it that Everton still seem to be operating in the black and white silent movies era?

Bill Kenwright is a movie star he he ( well he was in Corrie ) no doubt Black and White with his mum Betty Turpin and he does reminice so there is your answer ha ha .
We need a new producer and director who can stage the new action packed movies 🎥.

few whispers that the board now looking at alternatives to silva as Watford are playing serious hardball (and why shouldn't they) alternatives are hiddink van gaal and the possibility of unsworth for longer, who would you rather blues?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

20 Nov 2017 14:45:12
if they are the choices i'd stick with unsworth, no point taking someone because they are out of work, a lot of clubs will be changing managers at the end of the season, which ever way we go, your not going to please everyone.

Agree0 Disagree2

20 Nov 2017 15:20:00
Honestly would have loved unsy to work out, but not looking like its going to we're still playing very poorly and will be down there the remainder of the season with him in charge, not what people want to hear but the truth sadly.

Agree4 Disagree2

20 Nov 2017 17:27:43
Out of those 3? Hiddink, then Unsworth and Van Gaal last, poor manager.

Agree2 Disagree1

20 Nov 2017 17:50:26
But is our plight down to Unsworth or more that we don’t have a replacement for the Lukaku goals?
If we can’t get whoever we want soon would Unsworth or Hiddink short term be viable?
The issue then is attracting a striker so short term loan for someone like Slimani or another striker perhaps that could be an option?
These are of course only options but I think the major thing that is needed is a striker. If we can look longer term then I would love that Moussa Dembele.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Nov 2017 18:15:06
Its not the lack of goals its a lack of clean sheets that is the problem.

Agree3 Disagree1

20 Nov 2017 18:57:11
Agree with you sa90. We are letting in 2 goals per game, it's a wonder we have any points. Need defensive replacements this window. If we get in a good striker great but the defense is the main need.

Agree2 Disagree0

20 Nov 2017 19:55:27
Can't understand why Unsworth doesn't play 3 at the back especially away from home and at least for the 1st half. Now Lennon is flying, him and Baines playing as wing backs should make us a bit harder to break down. Bring Holgate back as one of the 3 so we have some legs at the back.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Nov 2017 20:50:25
Would rather have Pulis until the end of the season than those three mercenaries. I'd respect Silva if he told us he wanted to finish the season at Watford.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Nov 2017 21:13:53
van gaal is now 7/2 third favourite, he wasn't even in the betting yesterday.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Nov 2017 23:32:17
Clean sheets are as important but there are about 8 games we have failed to score in
You can’t win a game if you don’t score.

No need to even think about Pulis to Everton (thank god) he's nap for Welsh job.

West Brom have sacked Pulis. That’s a pretty good option for Watford. Maybe things will now move along with Silva.

I am not to sure if Van Gaal is the personto take us forward either, mind you this lot we have now would soon have blisters the way he would make them work. Odds slashed on Van Gaal apparently but also Koeman is 10/ 1 to replace himself. You have to laugh don't you. Supported this lot since I was in Baghdad and most of you were still in your Dad's bag, this is the first time I have felt a little worried.

Bit of a delayed reaction but I'd like to say well done to Aaron Lennon on his performance Saturday. He had a hard couple of months but showed there is still plenty of fight left in him. Good on ya Aaron lad, keep it up. Let's hope some of your positivity rubs off on the other players now you were given a chance. God knows they need it.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

20 Nov 2017 02:39:35
Lennon is under appreciated, he gives his all every game, offers great cover for the right back and closes every ball down. If people remember a few seasons ago he sparked life back into the team with his effort, which gave everyone else a kick up the arse. Niasse is doing the same now. The rest of the more 'talented senior players' need to show more commitment.

Agree2 Disagree0

20 Nov 2017 09:22:31
Always been a good player and what you see is what you get, he just appears not to be to all Managers tastes. As others have said if the rest of the side followed Lennons and dare I say it Niasses attitude (not the dive obviously) , we would not be in this position. The more illustrious players need to start showing up. As to the Manager situation, not more can be said to the Echo Headline.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Nov 2017 13:35:22
I was more referring to what happened him at the end of last season in his personal life. He not only got over that but also got over not getting picked since the beginning of the season. Then put in a very good performance taking all that into consideration. Keep it up Aaron. Good to have the likes of ya around Everton F. C.
