So am back in Qatar now, and we went to see Drogba and Toure. Anyways wished Toure a big happy birthday and said Efc love celebrating birthdays. I was trying to be subliminal, so we shall wait and see. Perhaps my persuasion techniques will finally pay off and we'll have some competition for Barkley next season.

We should have a collection to buy a birthday card and a very big cake and maybe Yaya will sign for us

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I've got a Corgi Bugatti if he's into his toys. Poor chap. All that money and not enough love!

Agree0 Disagree0

Pay me £100k a week and I'll stay away from the cake for a while. Precious Sod.

Agree0 Disagree0

More to it than that methinks. One thing for sure the man is an absolute beast on a football field, probably one of the best players I've ever watched in the flesh he's a monster and he covers ground like nothing I've ever seen before.

According to one of the papers, when we signed Barry on loan, we agreed a clause stating we would pay Man City 2.5 million if we then went on to sign him permanently. So we are up against Arsenal, Spurs etc having to dig up 2.5 million before we even discuss his wages. Whereas they can compete purely discussing salary. I just hope this is just more lazy reporting.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Sounds like a nonsense to me Degsy. No club would agree to pay for a player who will be out of contract, it's nothing at all to do with City who Barry signs for plus he is free just now to sign for another club.}

Ed it is in the Mirror. It is reported as if were fact. It states that the back dated fee will be payable if he signs for us. I don't even know if it is enforceable in employment law, but that is exactly how they are reporting it.

Agree0 Disagree0

That probably means if we signed him during the loan period.

Albrighton released by Villa, any takers?not a bad squad player on a free?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Albrighton is like downing but worse

Agree0 Disagree0

If he's worse than downing then they might as well sign me!

Anyone think a raid on the everdise may be a good call this summer Bruno martins indi, jordi Clasie, Memphis depay, disdain tadic and alfred finnbogasson would all be good additions

Been watching the England U21&U18 and have to say was very impressed with our boys. Anyone would think we were cloning them. Garbutt attacking l/b not scared to take people on, Bainsey? Kennedy attacking r/b pacey and prone to wander, Coleman? And Lundstom two footed strong and can pick a pass, Barkley?
Young manager, young team, old supporter. Match made in heaven, from a very happy Blue.

Kennedy is a winger, lundstram looks very talented and garbutt, i'm not a fan, loses control of the ball when running and is caught out too much, decenteft foot though

Agree0 Disagree0

Open your mind Robbie plays his full backs like wingers. As they develop they will change. Watch the way they play it's exactly what yer man wants.

Look when we played city, baines and coleman didn't know where they were supposed to be, baines was upfront half the time and coleman was infront of mccarthy in midfield, 90% of teams use their full backs as wingers its part of their attacking game, so when we have 2 centre backs we play what? 2-2-5-1? 4 wingers? Bit open isn't it? don't expect us to be playing 3 at the back constantly next season, I guarantee you it will remain with our normal 2 centre backs

Agree0 Disagree0

OP are you sure you mean Kennedy the Scottish winger and not kenny the English RB

Quincy getting old mate :)

hey guys I'm back. I know it's been a long time, but I've currently got other busy things. Anyway, this lad from Shellbourne looks a safe bet and a good player for the future. Next, we got the need for a new striker, personally I think we'll sign Bony due to Swansea's struggles in both league and cups and he is a player which wants to win trophies. In addition I also believe will of signed both Milner on a permanent basis as well as Thorgan Hazard on a season loan, with a viewto a second season.
However gooing the opposite way through Goodisons gates I believe Gueye, Hope and Touray will all be sold or release. as well as Stanek, Long, McAleny, Pennington, Browning, Garbutt, Lundstram and Kennedy all going out on loan.
The big surprise of next season will be Stones, as I reckon as the season goes on Distin will become fatigued and may get injured due to league and competitions we will compete in and so I believe Stones will be a brilliant replacement for the great veteran

Hope will not be released or sold as everton have high hopes for him (no pun intended), stanek will stay with the under 21s, martinez has stated, TWICE that browning is ready for the first team, distin may get injured? You could of said that at any point in the last 5 years, stones, alcaraz and browning will play in the other competitions, garbutt will be looked at in pre season by martinez and will either go on loan again for a couple of months or go into the first team for squad rotation, mcaleny cannot go on loan again, it is make or break now, lundstram and kennedy have a slim chance of playing a couple of games, touray will be looked at for another season before any decision is made imo although he does look dodgy

Agree0 Disagree0

He's not a left sided CB though Aaron. Nice to see you back though friend

Agree0 Disagree0

You could play Jags left CB, paddock, and thanks.
Didn't say these were accurate, just said these are the deals I could see happening

Right blues I think next year we need to get with the times, what I mean by this is we need to ditch the good old honest Everton tag.I was always proud of that comment but let's be honest we won't get Champions league that way look at all the teams ahead of us in the league they have all done it more than once this season, and have got match winning decisions from it yes I'm on about DIVING.Liverpool won something between 12, 14 points this year from bogey decisions from refs yes they were very soft penalties and free kicks that led to goals, Osman got booked for a dive when he was clearly brought down its unbelievable at times but true.Another account when we played Stoke away Osman had to be chopped down twice before he got the penalty and if he had of stayed down the first time he would of got it as it was stone wall.Im not trying to promote cheating but I'm getting fed up with the way the game has gone and maybe now it's time to start playing the game of now instead of yesterday. Liverpool nearly won the league this year and do you think there fans would of gave a flying f. K if other supporters called them cheats not a chance in hell would they. I know I keep mentioning our lovely neighbours but I am using them as an example cause they were notorious for it this year.Martinez should start encouraging our players to start going down and let's try to get an extra 6 or 9 points more a season from it sure hey why not there all at it and the FA turn a blind eye so what's stopping us. Sorry for the rant lads but it's going on all around us I think it's time we started playing it.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Are you mad mate? You may be right about maybe getting a few more points due to bogey decisions but do you really want to be like the rs? One of the reasons I love Martinez is because he is pure class and brings this class to Everton and I love the fact that our players aren't cheat. Personally when barkley tries the odd dive, I lose a little respect for him and I really want Martinez to stop Barkley from diving on the odd occasions.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope this a joke. Instead of cheating we should look at where we can improve 3 draws against crap teams at the start of the season and dropping 12 points from winning positions. That's 18 points before we have to start cheating

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't condone cheating but I can see your point stef. Instead of us starting to dive let's hope that something can be done to the cheats that already do this.
I for one will not be holding my breath tho.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm sorry Steff but I cannot agree with you. Yes we all know that the red rubbish conned refs this season, with the likes of the water rat and his cohorts going to ground too often and too theatrically, but how can suggest that Roberto would want to emulate them? We're better than that. Let's play honestly rather than be known as cheats.

Agree0 Disagree0

Listen all players dive to some degree some are just better at it or more cunning, some do it more than others, this ain't a new thing either all this "there's contact so he can go down" stuff the pundits use to condone it is just a way of deflecting the fact that its a dive. The players that can shift the ball from one foot to another are the ones that spend most there time on the floor because they know how to minipulate there body to win them. I doubt managers will set up to purposely cheat but they will be more than happy to win a pen to win a game even if its a dive

If Delofeu is not coming back, what do you guys think about Dyer from Swansea? He's been brilliant for the Swans and I think he could do a job for us

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Hes fast and average at best, poor crosser, nothing special going forward and won't win games, i'd rather give kennedy a chance

Would anyone take Gomis from Lyon on a free. According to reports he has snubbed a deal from them. Could be a very good squad player for Euro League and even Premier.

No, hold up play is poor and he is very lazy and can be uninterested most of the time, bony! Remy! Batman! Fingerblastin! Doumbia!
