Henderson a international footballer. Never in a million years. Might as well draft Lee Cattermole into the team . Couldn't possibly be any worse . Soooo frustrating.

Believable4 Unbelievable2

{Ed091's Note - If you watched the game, henderson was MOTM the first 45. Please try not to be so bitter and deluded.

20 Jun 2016 22:40:51
Was I watching the same game?! . He was awful, literally every person I spoke to in the pub at half time wanted him off.

20 Jun 2016 22:44:40
. I thought he was England's best player 2nd half along with Dier. & by the way - why the hell did we get rid of Dier? He's world class!

Agree0 Disagree1

20 Jun 2016 22:52:31
MOTM HAHA, just proves you can be proper crap for england and still get motm, so what if they had all the possession, their goalie was never troubled. stones and ross have been ripped to bits for less.

Wiltshire was crap.

Barkley did not have a good end to the season, but that was down to the clueless one, if he is not a better option than Alie or wiltshire, I must have been watching the wrong game.
If he gives the ball away in dangerous situation (WILTSHIRE) he get the rant from the london media, if he has crazy long range shots, the same, Alie's efforts would be ok, if he was going for a 3 point rugby convertion. He is head and shoulders above both but does not get a look in, bet he would have scored with that much possetion around the box.

Soli. Dier was deemed not good enough the same as Mustaffi by a certain ex manager of ours. And now look at them both top players at club and international level.

21 Jun 2016 07:06:26
Have to agree to a certain extent. Even Arsenal fans will tell you Wheelchair is over rated and he gave possession away far too much and against better opposition we may have been punished. Henderson done alright, found space in and around the box now and again but not much else. I do feel a game last night would have benefited Ross to come on instead of Alli and play alongside Rooney and have them both driving towards the defence. Has Alli lived up to all this pre-tournament hype? No not at all he has been disapointing in my opinion. If Henderson and Wheelchair are better options for our country than Ross Barkley than I'm afraid Ross might as well retire now. Both between them probably played less last season than Ross.

ed091 must have had a few too many sherbets. Henderson motm first 45 minutes, that has to be a wee wee extraction. The bloke was awful.

Agree0 Disagree1

{Ed091's Note - I think you had too many bitters during the game lad.

21 Jun 2016 07:31:24
On one hand Slovakia did a job on us last night, on the other they baffled me with their 'bus parking' etc. . . they had nothing to gain from it!

England once again showed their lack of guile and savvy when confronted with a whole team behind the ball, it seemed our corners were wasted, every shot was struck with a white shirt just waiting with easy anticipation to charge it down.

Yawn. . . it bores me to even think about this match .

21 Jun 2016 06:28:18
Don't often agree with Mr Mcnulty but for me Dyer, Clyne for me and I would add Vardy. Not Sturridges fault that he kept coming deep in my opinion, Henderson and Wiltshire were so ineffective that instead of being where he can do most damage the lad had to keep coming to hunt for the ball. I would still play him (Sturridge) every game. Play Rooney in midfield and Sturridge will score.

Eds, Do you's think we will go back in for Yarmolenko, I'd still be happy if we got him despite him having a mare at the Euros.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - touch an go for me KR, if i was a betting man i would say no way, he is more trouble than hes worth mate

20 Jun 2016 22:30:04
Exactly Ed025, thanks but no thanks.

21 Jun 2016 06:21:19
Well we get the chance to see him again tonight, personally not been impressed with Yama Yama Yama so far. To be fair I was one of those that said he was a trouble maker but on further analysis the lad himself has said nothing it has been all his agent and Club gobbing off.

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jun 2016 15:04:54
Why is everyone so excited about getting Yarmalenko, but actively lynching Rom? Isn't the situation exactly the same, both spouting stuff (or at least agents) about wanting to move onto better clubs.

Juan Mata 2-1 fav. to join Everton. odds tumbling today on . would be great signing for me. technically very gifted player!

20 Jun 2016 18:42:07
Ed002 seems to believe we won't be getting Mata and have zero chance. I would rather take his word than believe betting odds, don't get me wrong would love him at Everton but there will be other clubs across Europe no doubt that can offer Champions League that will be more appealing to him.

Hi Soli that is very true it just goes to show the calibre of player we are now looking at, we have a great owner chairman and manager now, just bring on the transfer window I think this is going to be the best ever roller coaster ride and a fantastic period to be a BLUE, GuernseyBlue,

Guys, just wondering since the position is open and DM has been hanging around with BK.

Glad to have RK.

20 Jun 2016 15:50:56
He can hang with BK 'no problemo' however if you see him with FM. . . now that would worry me!

Just as an aside to this, would anyone know if he is just starting this 'cozying up ' since his 'I need a bigger challenge than you lot' mode?

Okay, I'll throw this one out (just wondering, that is all, not advocating for or against) :

Moyes as Director of Football.
The Ginger Duo?

Please don't shoot the questioner.

20 Jun 2016 14:16:13
You need shooting Blue, nah not for me mate, burnt his bridges, he has apparently been offered the Geordies, Villa and more but turned them all down, probably was hoping for a return here but Mr Moshiri knows how the majority of us felt, won't knock him anymore but not for me, has Monchi actually signed for PSG yet as until that is confirmed I still think that is possible.

Agree3 Disagree0

20 Jun 2016 14:36:56
Yep. . . have to go along with Murf on this one!
I would prefer him to just keep quiet about us and get back to once again building a rep. for himself as a good stabalizer and consolidator, there are plenty of clubs that need that kind of manager.

Agree3 Disagree0

20 Jun 2016 14:50:16
I agree with you Murf Blue does indeed need shooting.

If we get Monchi I think that would be a bigger signing for the club than Koeman was. As of yet I don't think he has signed for anyone maybe he was waiting to see who we would/ could appoint as manager first, but on the other hand maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part.

As for Moyes he should only be allowed back into Goodison Park with a season ticket.

Agree3 Disagree0

20 Jun 2016 16:21:48
only joking on the "needs shooting" Blue as just having a laugh mate, nothing wrong with throwing it out there but Moyes not for me kidda.

Agree2 Disagree0

20 Jun 2016 17:40:15
Maybe bringing Moyes back is not such a bad shout.

He knows the club very well after being here for 11 years and is well versed in all things Everton related.

So, when we need a new kit man or tea lady, give him a call.

20 Jun 2016 18:28:44
As a Moyes admirer even I would have to say bad move. who would be in charge. How would players react to Koeman if Moyes started interfering and gettinginvolved in coaching or disagreed with koeman. Too many possible conflicts. We have appointed Koeman so we now have to give him 100% support. and hope in 3 years time we have not declined in the same wasy as under RM. As much as I admired Mr Moyes. he is no longer part of our club. Mr Koeman is!

21 Jun 2016 08:21:24
Moyes as director of football not for me! I still can't understand how he let Dier and Mustafi slip through our system? either would cost £20m today!

20 Jun 2016 14:05:18
Hi again all,

So Rom looked decent, i think we should all forget about his transfer talk saga, i don't like what he did either but personally i don't think we can sign anyone better and so keeping him must be the aim.

We still need a keeper more than anything and there's one i think would be a top class addition and at a pretty good price. Sergio Romero at Man U. I've always liked him, played at the highest level and i think he's being completely wasted as a number 2 choice, he's better than that.

On a side note, anyone know where Xavi is these days? I know he left Barcelona but was it to elsewhere or retirement? Could he be available or is he just a Legend player now (a name you'd love in the team but best days long gone and would add very little)

Thanks for any feedback.

To be honest Lukaku said all these things last summer when away with Belgium, take it with a pinch of salt, all I have ever heard him say is he wants to play champions league football and to win titles, everyone saying he has burnt his bridges, when all there reading is reports and if you believe the rags then we will have a new team next season.

I would love it if we snagged Mandanda. I believe he is a free agent and valued at €10 mil. free vs £20-£40 mil for the Hart, Forster or Begovic options that have been rumoured. For a good salary, Mandanda would come to the best league in the world.

If Stones is determined to go to city, then I would not do the deal unless they put Wilfred Bony in as part of the deal, even if we are able to keep hold of Lukaku.

If we're selling to stones I'd say sell him to man utd for full price or with schneiderlein and mata coming to us with cash as well.
