My dad works with one of the Soccer school coaches, the run a youth programme in Liverpool for young coaches...anyway, he heard the other day around Goodison that we have agreed a deal for Simpson and Moyes is going to try his best to get Pienaar...but he has also been told that we have around 15 million to spend, so maybe someone like Moutinho might be brought in to replace Cahill with to respect! And looks like Moyes doesn't won't to go to Spurs but he might have no choice if his demands aren't met by kenwright and be forced to take the job should Spurs turn up with a contract too tempting to turn down:(

Wait, so after waiting so long for a little bit of funds, he suddenly gets 15mil to spend out of nowhere, and then decides to leave for Spurs? Lucrative offer? He is the 12th highest paid coach IN THE WORLD as it stands, and is probably in line for a pay rise from Billy boy, doesn't get much more lucrative for him at Everton.

I specifically said that he wont go (because he aint been offered the job) and he might do if he is forced to sell the likes of Baines or Fellaini

moyes told BK last week hed only sign the new contract or stay at everton etc if he had some investment this summer... moyes is still there so my guess is we have money for pienarr and new striker or winger {Ed025's Note - its a good theory...but its just a guess..

He won't go anyway, spurs don't seem to have contacted him and they seem to be going for other managers (AVB, Laurent Blanc etc...)

I expected backlash from my earlier post because we are evertonians and nothing normally goes our way, so when good news does come you don't believe it. And I can tell by the comments alot of you didn't read the post properly anyway... But I am just trying to let you all know what I have heard, but yet you have a go at me. If this doesn't come true I won't rely on what I get told by people at the club (who are usually get everything right). But if this is true (god help me i hope it is) you should learn not everything is bad news at everton.

Also Tristen called it outrageous, he has possibly the most unrealistic posts possible. Ha. Well thats all I have to say, COYB...............

i think we will finish 7th this season but if we get pienaar naismith and some other guy i think top 6 is a possibility we wont get yarmelenko holt hoilett moses etc etc but what we do need is a solid no nonsence centre back after distin goes/retires we suddenly look short at the back again i would go for howedes from schalke as i said though not till next August maybe we can fund this with players such as Anichebe,Mucha,CAHILL,and you'll kill me for this ed, Rodwell looking forward to the season front row in the paddock!!!!
