just watched moyes pre-match interview, and is it just me or did he seem a bit distant? I know we have just been beat but he seemed really down in the dumps.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cos he knows our dream of CL is over

your 1. 0 down with 20 minuites to go, what to do,, take off a striker and a goal scoring midfielder, put on two players who have about 2 goals between them, tactical genius

Believable0 Unbelievable0

With referrence to calling Naismith a player. I beg to differ. (Wavertree Blue)

bye bye europe thanks bill but then your the biggest everton fan nooooottttt show it with actions

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Get off his back just because we just lost a game

Agree0 Disagree0

We lost it in Jan when we failed to sign anyone to improve the first team. Stones is great for the future but we needed to add some strength to push for Europe. Failure to do that, what else was to be expected?

Waited til the last min to act as usual. Not good enough. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

If we had bought in january we would have won

moyes is an awful manager, his old tactics are back. After the wigan game I really thought that he was more positive but now he's back to his old favorite tactics. All everton did against sunderland was invite pressure then knock it long. This works if fellaini is up there but anichebe is better having it flat and jelavic controls it like an horse. Osman is past it and it scares me when he has it in our half, same for pienaar; who was pig awful and has lost any pace he ever had. Obviosly you can always rely on the super-sub Naismith though, with his pace, vision and his eye for goal. Coleman and Fellaini were the best by far today. And if moyes doesn't sign that contract the player will think 'whats the point in working for you moysie if you won't work with everton'.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good optimism mate although I don't believe you to be an evertonian are you expecting us to win every time then your a glory hunter PK BLUE

Agree0 Disagree0

You know nothing about football how can you call moyes an awful manager when he is fighting champions league with a net spend of zero a side that have lost 6 games in prem all season shut up you are a joke for saying that

Agree0 Disagree0

Clearly not an evertonian no true evertonian would slag our team and manager off like this

they think its all over. it is now! we had a good bash at it this season though credit to the team can't play well every game but should of kept the same team as last week I think kept the momentum going, anichebe going back to his old ways, held the ball up well sometimes just made the wrong choices barkley behind jelly for me, he is much more aware of a pass! amefc

Wow, words fail me. There's no words in the English language to sum up that 'performance'. Worse than Wigan. They gave you hope then take it away with displays like that.

im so rry everton but that is not good enough 1-0 at sunderland champs league hopes av gone now we bottled it today real poor performance against not a very good team we should b winning games like this very dissapointed everton fan

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not a very good team? sunderland were by far the best team 1st half and should of been 2 or 3 goals up and should of had 2 penalties, we just beat n0wcastl3 0-3 at their place, confidence is back and we a far better team than our league position shows, you sound a bit bitter to me, you gave it ago 2nd half but we stopped you playing your usual good football! Sunderland Fan!

Agree0 Disagree0

To the Sunderland supporter. You're a very limited, average team. We had our worst league game of the season and it still took a blunder for you to score. Not to mention a penalty should have been given on Naismith near the end. Alan Hansen said it was a pen so it must be no? :-)

Sick of the site of Moyes I want rid and replace him with a positive manager. Thomas Paul

Believable0 Unbelievable0

To much hoofball going on out there today. Not good enough!

Agree0 Disagree0

Wise up! Without Moyes the club would wither and die! Moyes came in wed won nowt for 8 years he has changed that and made us arguably the 4th best team in the league.

If Moyes was German he would be Jurgen Kloop and youd love him.

SSSHHHH fickle go support the Reds if you don't know how to support.

COYB

Agree0 Disagree0

Why is that then? Too many players looked poor today for me!. That isn't Moyes's fault. Get a grip lad!
Keep going blues
Barry m

Agree0 Disagree0

And under moyes' tenure for 11yrs what have we won? NOTHING! and have never looked likely to either. whatever side of the moyes fence you sit on its all about opinions, but if anyone is happy or can support that performance today then I feel sorry for you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Come off it mate, comparing Moyes to Klopp is like comparing Osman to Messie ridiculous.

Agree0 Disagree0

Any manager, any half decent manager worth his salt, given 11 yrs without pressure would be able to produce a functional team with a good team spirit. Moyes is a dinosaur. The formation he plays is outdated, his substitutions you could set your clock by them. He's that predictable. We can see it, surely other managers also see it.
People go on about his transfer budget- the financial situation is no excuse for not being able to play the game. Today was the final straw, the nail in his coffin. He has to go or we will continue to stagnate.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Apr 2013 16:04:57
If we don't win today (which we won't) european football is a definite no, Osman over Barkley sick of Moyes always picking his bum chums and gives Osman the captains armband, what a joke it should be Distin or Gibbo.

Shocking 1st half, that's the worst I've seen us, pienaar, miralas, vic, gibson all not even got in the game, must do better second half and fight for at least a point

Believable0 Unbelievable0

20 Apr 2013 15:54:12
y do we never get goals gifted to us like that but we gift a fair few through the season we have to work so hard to get goals peeves me off and sorry to say it I know big vic has been good lately but his hold up play today and against arsenal is woeful need to put felli up there the ball sticks to him boy do we need a top forward so so badly

Believable0 Unbelievable0

20 Apr 2013 15:52:12
very very poor, were being bullied and outfought in this first half. we've made it easy for them. got to pull there fingers out second half.

I see Beckford and Vaughan are playing brilliantly together for Huddersfield, always liked Vaughny, when he was fit he was a threat for us

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Headless chicken for me Vaughan, running around throwing himself into needless challenges and tackles that's why he was always injured.

Can anyone tell me how young George green is progressing he must be approaching 18 now but don't see much talk of him in youth at moment

Believable0 Unbelievable0

20 Apr 2013 09:32:04
Just seen a picture (on a lot of sites) of a new club crest that we have apparently trade-marked.

It is the same shape as normal but there is no nsno motto and replacing the laurel wreaths (!) is 1878.

I really hope they are just putting it on t-shirts and other merchandise. If they put it on the kit I think there will be a lot of complaints.

I'm on a phone so not sure how to attach an image but it's quite easy to find if anyone wants to see it

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It looks like a bunch of nursery aged children have been tasked with producing a new Everton crest as part of a competition of some sort. And they've been sent in to the club to declare the winner. Looks amateurish and too 'cartoony'.

Could anyone tell me what's happened to Velios? {Ed025's Note - seems to be out of favour twoold, fell out with moyes last year, and has not had much of a look in since, if moyes stays, he will more than likely move on next season IMO..
