If we do get taken over and big money is avaidable, first player you'd like to see us bring in? I think Neymar, going to be a world class player, a forward which we need and we all know Moyes likes them young..

Stupidest thing iv ever heard... no matter who takes us over we will not get neymar.. end of discussion

I'd love to see us get him but we won't. The first player i'd love to see us bring in if we did get taken over is either Yann M'Vila or Christian Eriksen.

Vanger love or pavlychenco {Ed025's Note - would be nice...but unlikely at the moment..

Why would we want Pav? Never puts a shift in,just got rid of one of them!

This bloke who's linked us with Neymar is either on drugs or a dirty red. As for those of you wanting Pav, I'm based down South and mates with loads of Spuds fans. They cannot wait to see the back of him. Read in to that what you will. {Ed025's Note - i must admit...he would not be my first choice, but at the moment...beggars cant be choosers as they say..

Pav's no better than Beckford. At least with Beckford, he can speak English.

The newcastle game is a must win for me! It will be a good starting block for a kinder run of fixtures and hopefully get us some much needed points and comfortabley in the top half of the table for the festive season!
Howard
Hibbert heitenga distin baines
Neville
Gueye rodwell drenthe
Vellious saha
Subs mucha,cahill,denis,barkley,osman,bily,jags
I feel that set up wil get us goals and also keep us pretty solid at the back! But cant see moyes playing 2 strikers so mybe cahill instead of vellious and coleman instead of gueye! Either way we have to win! Or at the very least get a draw!

Newcastle away is going to be a very tough game, they are now 3rd in the table and still unbeaten! I watched them last night and they dont look that good but the league table doesnt lie! Demba ba bagged his second hattrick of the season so he will be full of confidence, jags and distin (heits) will have to be at there very best to keep him quiet if they can do that then we should beable to win (providing we bloody score) if we win then the extremley annoying international break will be a more relaxing one, and a home win against wolves will put us around the top 10 region which will be a good platform to build on! If i remember rightly we have a good run of fixtures all the way into january with only arsenal as a stumbling block! If and thats a big IF we can win most of the gmes between now and xmas then a europa league spot would be very possible! But we have to be more clinical infront of goal! Coyb! You heard anymore news about the investment talk ed? Something like that would spark fresh enthusiam around the club and players and give them the lift they need to up there game! Not to mention what it will mean for us fans!

Not particularly Everton related but is anyone else sick to death of seeing Wayne Rooneys over-head kick? It dominates every advert for English football and shouldn't. They never ever mention his mis-placed pass in the build up... or the deflection the cross took on the way in... or the fact that he was basically un-marked... or, most importantly, HE SHINNED IT!!! You're supposed to be advertising football, not shinball! We see much better goals every week across all four leagues but they don't get a look in because he is who he is. You give a kid from any academy that much space and they'd knock them in all day long (with their foot). Time for a change Sky Sports. HE SHINNED IT!!!

Come off it,if he had scored that for us we would have called our goal of the millenium! I know we are all a bit frustrated at the moment but ripping into other teams just means we are no better than the whinging reds from across the park or Manchester
Agree4

I'm not having a go at United. I'm having a go at Sky for giving so much hype to a goal that's full of flaws. I'd only be calling it goal of the millenium if Tony Hibbert had scored it.

The only reason they show it time and time again is because it's Wayne Rooney and he plays for Manchester United. It's that simple. {Ed004's Note - And because it was a spectacular goal, that won the Manchester derby}
Agree0
Disagree0
Spectacularly shinned Ed! {Ed004's Note - Didn't it go in?}
Agree0

It was a good goal and it did win the derby but that doesn't mean I need to see it all the time! Sky Sports are obsessed with Man Utd. Danny Rose scored a great goal in the North London derby. You don't see that everywhere. By focussing on Man Utd Sky Sports risk aliening the fans of the other nineteen clubs. Lucky for them the football coverage on all the other channels is dreadful.

It's on sky sports news now because of the Ballon d'or award and Rooney's nominated.
It then shows Messi taking the ball past an entire team, the manager, the crowd, skins a few cars on the motorway while keeping the ball in play, takes a plane to Old Trafford, nut-megs Rooney, tells him he shinned it ,gets a plane back and slots it passed the keeper while reading a copy of Coleen Rooneys autobiography... Now that's football!

Skippy scored a much better over head at Chelsea a couple of years ago!! Would love to see him SHIN in the winner on SAT!!

Have a look at what you people are actually debating about? I don't think anybody gives a toss about an advert on SSN, no disrepect to the fan who brought it up but for god's sake i'd rather see some useful and interesting banter when I open this page :)
