I went to the game tonight we had plenty of possession and dominated the midfield but didn't create many chances. Missed Baines tonight and I thought their goal was soft but so was ours. Fair result and if we beat Wolves we will finish above the RS.

Correct me if im wrong ed but didn't mick MacArthy when he made 6or7 changes and very unluckily lost 2-1 get fined..Liverpool made 9 changes and lost? {Ed003's Note - Wolves got a suspended fine after making 9(I think) changes,Blackpool were fined £25k last year for making 10 changes but after a lot of fuss because of the introduction of the 25 man squad rule the Premier league do not consider it an offence now}

The britannia is a tough place to go and i think that a point from there is a good result. We are 3 points ahead of the rs now but it was a shame not to see Barkley. Anyway roll on wolves.

still 3 points above the s**te ! {Ed024's Note - Good result at a tough place to go, arsenal only got a point there on saturday

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We were resolute tonight and played some good stuff again, i thought we gave them a harder game than arsenal did last weekend.

Does anyone know how much Pablo Zabaleta would cost? I think that he would be perfect to solve our RB problems and it would be amazing if BK could cough up the cash to buy him. {Ed025's Note - he is good..but the fact he is at man city, means he will be on big wages..

I just cant wait until next season,if we get the 3 or 4 players we need to have a good team and good squad we can defo challenge for top 4 or 6 place.Come on bill please give moyes some money you must feel were on for good things so back moyes for once bill.Terry blue {Ed025's Note - im sure he will do his best terry...whether his best is good enough, is a different matter..

Agree0 Disagree0

It just does me head in that every other team spends money even teams that average attendances of 20 thousand or so and no were near our fan base, its even worse when championship teams spend more, come on bill this good team could become a great team.Terry blue {Ed024's Note - With a couple of modest priced additions we will be all set for next season

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes must be allowed to dabble early in the transfer market, so the team can get settled for the new season. We did that before the 06/07 season and had a fantastic start.

Hi Ed just a few thoughts on possible signings that could be within our range:

Jordan Rhodes 3-4 million and Barkley on loan for 6 months just to give him some game time, think he could work well and learn from Jellyman.

Odemwingie 4 million and Anichebe, his pace could compliment Jellyman.

If the red s**te are still willing to offer 8 million for Coleman, take it and go for either A Johnson or M Phillips from Blackpool.

Sell some fringe players - Mucha 1m, Anichebe 3m,
Baxter 2m, McFadden free (wages), Vellios 3m, Silva 1m and use this to get Pienaar, Dempsey and Joe Lewis.

Go with the usual free transfers Pranjic, Bosingwa, Moses.

And i'm sure Moysie will find a couple of loan stars again, COYB's lets leave the s**te from Analfield standing in Aug {Ed024's Note - Good list, there are plenty of options for moyes in the transfer market

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Moyes wouldn't sell youth players, vellios is the next jelavic, and as for baxter, he has a bright future
EFL {Ed025's Note - i agree with you..

Agree0 Disagree0

This guy knows jack all odemwingy isn't good enough you don't want to sell youth like vellios he could soon become a poacher in the box like the other guy said a next jelevic, Baxter although I feel he has been around a long time I believe he will come good I hear he is great in link up play with Barkley and can play in multiply positions like a Leon osman and I could see him starting to replace him in the future and I would not have someone like bosingwa in te squad to save the life of me

If you look at the league table as it stands now we are only 4 wins away from 4th spot! That's just 4 extra wins throughout the whole season! That's how close we are! I think now with have jelavic he will help turn those defeats into draws and draws into victories! I'm very optimistic for next season! {Ed024's Note - Next season should be interesting if we can get off to a good start

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I seriously think, if we just sign Pienaar permanently, we have a chance for a top 4 spot. Of course, if we can sign 2 or 3 more aside from Pienaar, then we have a better chance, a couple of decent freebies, mixed with one player on the cheap (Dempsey)

We are not far from it, it is all up to Kenwright, he holds the fate in his hands.

Good to hear moyes talking about next season least we know he will still be with us.I hope we keep peanuts and get Adam J from city and a couple of others i really think Moyes should start playing Coleman at right back cause we need to strengten tat position .Theres rumours saying Moyes will have 20 mill to spend personally i wont hold my breath on that but would love it to be true it would be just the tonic we need for next season .Royston D really let us down its apitty but would also like to keep the strac cause he puts a 100 percent in when he plays but hears hoping come kenwright give moyes the funds and watch us go next season coyb .Stef the blue].

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Its a shame about drenthe as he had a lot of quality, but because of his behaviour he is a liability. I hope coleman gets back to form because he looked so impressive last season and i still think he has the potential to be very good player for us.

Bez the blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Big pity about Drenthe, was exciting to watch but too volatile, hope the red's get him though Stef lol.

Adam J would be a dream as he is just waiting to be fully nurtured.

I agree with Coleman tryin out RB as that is where Moyesee said he eventually sees him.

Peanuts is our number one priority and if he wants to come to us more than he wants to go back to Spurs then he can get the price down himself to match our budget, thankfully Hawwy is staying put.

If the big man Stracq is priced at 5 million then he will be sent back, too much for us.

Degsybluenose {Ed024's Note - Coleman at rb is a good shout, drenthe is a nutcase

Agree0 Disagree0

I am sure when straq first came we were only being quoted 1.5 million for the permanent transfer

Bez the blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Hibbo over Coleman any day - Hibbo is flying at the moment - great crosser and doesn't get caught to often defending - sometimes he could close his winger down a bit quicker/better to stop a cross coming in at all - but the wingers don't get past him too often - his crossing is awesome!

ClozemDowne

Agree0 Disagree0

Drente reminds me so much of Andy Van De Vodka, so much potential but football is just getting in the his of his personal life and you need to be sober to reach your full potential! Not a chance Moyes will keep him, if we keep Pea Nuts and our current squad I'd consider that a good summer window anything else is a bonus

Team Next Season Without Spending A Penny:
-------------Howard---------------
Bosingwa--Heitinga--Douglas--Baines
-----------Diame--Gibson---------
Hoilett-------Fellaini------Rodriguez(not Maxi!)
--------------Jelavic----------------

Im not saying this will happen im just showing a few players who are free in the summer and how are team could look and the Rodriguez on the left is Cristian Rodriguez.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Jagielka is better than Douglas
And i think hibbert is better than bosingwa
Blue kaz

Agree0 Disagree0

Hoilett won't be free, he is too young to get a Bosman move or anything like that so Blackburn will look for a compensation payment which I read somewhere will be quoted at £5m, I don't think they will get that much but certainly something

Agree0 Disagree0

Boswinga is a awful right back!! Honestly, you should actually watch him TRY and defend, he's decent going forward but is poor defending. Hibbert is better than him in my opinion.
We do need a new quality right back though.
Maybe if Coleman can improve his defensive game he could become our right back, would save us money and would let us concentrate on improving the squad in other area's (Right winger, cover at left back and another striker) {Ed025's Note - you may be right fella..

I think I'm right in saying that Jelavic is going to finish as both the Rangers and Everton top goalscorer this season. Quite an achievement to finish as top scorer for two teams in different leagues in the one season.

Ste EFC {Ed003's Note - Not really,when you consider the two teams he has played for...** This is where I leg it never to be seen again ;-) }

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I mean, considering when he joined Everton, our top scorer was our left back on 4 goals, it isn't that great of an achievement, but the fact that he has doubled our former top scorer makes it impressive. Still fancy him to add a couple more in the last few games, it seems if you give him a chance, he will score, a purely instinctive striker. {Ed025's Note - he does look great... and long may it continue..
