Evening Gents,
I thought your boy Unsy conducted himself impeccably, a top bloke.

What happens to him now?

Back to the U23's for him Gunner. He was doing a fantastic job there before he was thrown into the deep end with the first team. How could he sort out that mess?

He done fine and might make a premier league manager yet.

Excellent player and under 23 coach but did not cut it at being in charge of the 1st team, but excellent Ambassador for the Club mate.

Unsy is a gent. Gutted for him but hopefully he gets another crack at first team management.

He's blue through and through. The difference between a blue and say an Allardyce was evident today.

Unsworth saying to back the manager and give him our support. Allardyce mentioning his brief 2 minutes with the players saying 'keep a clean sheet and score the first goal'. Hinting that credit goes to him.

18 months with this arrogant sod. God help me.

I'll definitely be off the fence and very pleased if Sam can achieve what he stated in his press conference. European football and a cup final will do me if we can get that far.

A picture on the "Official site" of little Sam, Big Sam and very Big Duncan. Glad to see Ferguson still retained as coach. Did not hear any one criticize him last year when Lukaku was banging them in but this year when he had little to work with supporters are calling him a hanger-on. He is Everton through and through and his enthusiasm is contagious. He no doubt will learn from the other two and hopefully he will be with us when little Sam and big Sam are in retirement with their big pay-offs.

Dunc brought to 1st team by Martinez, kept on by Koeman and Sam. Shows he must be doing something right and is there on merit.

Thanks NBTB and you are correct OllBlue. Three people have given my post a thumbs down. Can't understand were some are coming from, how do they know that Ferguson has not done a good job on the training pitch? Koeman and his brother are to blame for were we are today not Unsworth or Ferguson,
Mike.

I imagine people keep Ferguson on the coaching staff to appease the fans who would fume if he got sacked

Personally I’ve seen no evidence of him having any effect on our strikers, Rom was here 4 years and the only think he developed was his English

He doesn’t move when we are playing despite him having “mad true bloo pashun”.

Pretty sure Swan he developed into one of the best goalscorers last season in the EPL and finished second only to Kane. Also developed so much that he went from being worth 28 mil to 90 mil. Not a bad bit of coaching!

That’s due to inflation and Chelsea not wanting to keep him whereas we did

He didn’t develop at all, only scored as many as he would’ve anyway.

Not pessism but realism. We will in all probability not do to well against a very good organised and strong Huddersfield this weekend, I would take a draw now. However, I honestly believe that Sam will be good for Everton Football Club (not long enough unfortunately to make an impression before EFC V HFC) . For one Mr Allardyce has never been in the position where he could identify and be in a realistic position to purchase players he would like to improve a side he manages and two he is not the neanderthal people opinionate about. He brings with him an experienced back room staff and also employs techniques including sports pyschology. Let's see it run.

I stopped taking this post serious when ‘very good organised and strong Huddersfield’ what was the score midweek? 😂😂.

Robbie it was not that we played well against West Ham it was that they were rubbish .
Also had the penalty gone in it would have ended very differently.
Ducksflysouth is just being realistic, we could win with a new manager and the new confidence BUT be warned it is not a forgone conclusion
They were 1-1 with City and really defended well.
It will take time I love your optimism but I expect a hard fought game .
Huddersfield are no mugs and I think you will find they are above us in the table and that is no fluke.

Excuse me Trebor but last time I looked they were 14th and we are 13th, same number of points.

I will take a scrappy 1-0, or an exciting 4-3 but just want a win at this point. a boost of confidence in the week will hopefully carry us forward, we should not fear Huddersfield but believe in ourselves!

Received an interesting text from an old mate- " Canny Toffees-a little bit of Sam but not too much. Steady the ship while looking for something better then not too much compensation when the time comes".
Quite an interesting way of looking at the current situation I thought.

In all the need of a win and the euphoria following it, I feel like people are missing something quite incredible and not enjoying the moment. I did see one post further down making this point but others don't seem to have grasped just how special a moment the Rooney 3rd goal was. It was so special I feel we will all be telling our Grandkids about it in 20 years time (those of us still around) . Yes come on Blues just think about how we talk about his Arsenal goal now. yet this one was sort of extra extra special. Enjoy the moment! COYB.

I see that alongside Sam Allardyce, Craig Shakespeare and Sammy Lee, there is also Martyn Margetson (goalkeeping coach) and Ryland Morgans (fitness and conditioning coach) .
Let's see how they compare to how Koeman's backroom staff fared.
