This embolo kid looks promising bit rough around the edges but could be a decent striker in s few years.

I think it is fair to say, until the euros are over, little will be done in the transfer market, we will be linked with every dutch player or any other man and his dog.

We will have the usual Lukaku, Stones, Barkley rumours as well.

I would ignore any rumours for now, sit back and enjoy the Euros, things will start falling into place soon, patience is a virtue.

RK will have plenty of potential targets in mind and will have to as he has some serious work overhauling the squad. The way we finished last season was embarrassing no cover at cb cost us and no quality support strikers cost us to .

We defiantly need a Gk Cb a ball playing Cm and two strikers. What level of player we go for is going to be interesting but having put up big money to get RK the board must be ready to give him the tools to do the job. While it's silly season and were all throwing names in the hat how about Forster isco Grimiero Bacca.

Reply to AB1878 . Can't really blame scouting network for the Kone signing. Niase yes, but remember Kone was a Martinez player at Wigan . Presumably signed by Roberto after dealing with him daily.

I just can't see how we can lose with the Lukaku saga.

1 if he stays we get goals
2 if he goes we get top dollar
3 if he has a bad Euros which is now unlikely but let's say he does, then we keep hold because the money doesn't match our evaluation.

3 years left on his contract leaves us in a position of strength for the next two transfer windows.

I don't care what he says or his agent or even his father. We have shown over the last few years that we won't be bullied any longer. The papers will be running this until September but our club is stoic in its resolve.

So I'm thinking, just chill and let it pan out because every direction I look on this one it looks more in our favour than anyone else's.

It does matter what Lukaku his father or his parasite of an agent says, he will only go to another club if Everton want to get rid.

not impressed with the news that we may be trying to get snhiederlin his ex saints player from man utd can't see anything in him at all surley we have better than him at the club. we need better players than him to move forward i hope its just paper talk .

I think it's paper talk. I'd like to think that he would have a good look at what he's already got before deciding who to try and sign.

Maybe he hasn't had the correct manager at Manchester United just like a lot of our players the last couple of seasons?

Agree Jtheblue, I remember when he was at Southampton under koeman, he was quality and still will be. I don't think he was given a proper chance at man utd. Perhaps if he was to come to us, he would flourish again with a manager who knows him already.

Truly can't take anybody seriously who doesn't think Schneiderlin improves us.

Could it be that lukaku's bad form at the end was due to his breakdown in relations with Martinez and that RK may make him an even better player I know if he stays and finds the back of the net even more consistently I will support him as I do all our players COYB I'm really looking forward to the new season.

Everything you say is very plausible Blues and twos but it doesn't explain why he wants to leave. With new manager he still wants to leave.

It shows what he thinks of Everton when he still wants to leave after the investment. He thinks he's better off somewhere else. If he wants to go let him go I say.

If he wants to stay let him stay. Either way Everton is on the rise with or without him. If he doesn't want to be a part of it he obviously doesn't believe we are going to be challenging at the top.

I think he's wrong. I may be wrong but time will surely tell the tail.

There's a story on one of the forums saying that lukaku has given in a transfer request by text.
If he's done that he'can do one.
