I would go with same starting 11 let barkley play in behind striker I thought felleni was great at cm agaist arsenal broke up the play brilliantly

For me give vellios the chance PB (PAKISTANI BLUE)

Hope Moyes keeps Barkley in today, he needs to get game time, leave him out and he will lose his confidence, he did well the other night. Come on Moyes give the youngsters a change.

I'll leave the Carroll talk alone for a while as the feather of a lesser known bird is the top bid atm and offer my opinion on the pfa awards.

Hazard- inconsistent and hasn't lived up to the 32m price tag.
Suarez- great player but is just a vile human being.
Van Persie- bad spell previously but scores goals.
Mata- great and imo deserves to win it.
Bale- I'll get moaned at for this, I think Bale is badly overrated by the media and fans alike and only had a good spell for 2 months this season, he will win it but undeservingly so.
Carrick- really? May as well throw John Obi Mikel, Joe Allen and Rory Delap in as well as Carrick is just another 'okay' player he gets a good passing percentage because he passes backwards and sideways and puts in about 2 good tackles every year.
Plus where on earth are Baines and Michu in this? What a joke.

I have to disagree ed, he is good at what he does which is heading and uses his height and strength to his advantage unlike the likes of Peter Crouch and Olivier Giroud, I've always lilked Carroll he was never worth 35m but I think he is a decent striker and I think he is better than the likes of Borini, Sturridge, Torres. Just my opinion.

Phil please don't compare Carroll to either Falcao or Higuain, its embarrassing. Both are fantastic and have a lot more to their games than Carroll. Higuain has 16 this season, Falcao 24 and Carroll 6. Ed is correct the game has progressed and Carroll is not good enough at other aspects of the game for us or anybody else in the top half of the league.

Carroll is a bit like a typecast actor i. e. there would be certain roles or in his case matches he would be surplus to requirements, ask Brenda see if he doesn't agree with me? £35mil. and he tells John Henry what he can do with him?

Great if he could just come on for the set pieces though!

I'm not comparing them I'm just saying heading is still a key aspect of the best of players games, I don't want us to put a bid in for Carroll I just don't think he is as bad as everyone thinks he is and that he is worth a bit more than what ed said and I won't compare him to Falcao because Falcao has more to his game but I can compare him to the likes of Llorente for example who if you took away his power and height he would be a pretty poor player and the same applys to Carroll.
