I was flat yesterdabefore and during the game. I perked up a bit from second half as we were bossing the game and had several clear cut chances to get back into the game, then a brilliant save an awful pass from Jags n its 3-0, no way back then. I felt the game was lost early due to 2 awful defensive errors, but above all, the team was as flat as I was. You can carry a couple of players sometimes but yesterday there was 6 or 7 who just weren't at the races. Tim H, the 3rd goal was as embarrassing as Hans Segers in the Wimbledon game all those years ago, to say it looked dodgy what he did is an understatement. Coleman tried but him and Lennon just weren't together all game, miles apart. Stones was excellent but Jags had a bad day at the Office, Galloway for all his promise lack any ideas what to do with the ball when he gets it, even when he's made a great overlap, he needs guidance. McCarthy and Barry were woeful yesterday, totally lost in midfield n certainly didn't play together. Naisy was Naisy, worked hard but he's no wide left player and he just gives the ball away or the move ends with him. Barkley I thought did ok, tried to get things going and had a few efforts but there was nothing happening around him, and i'm usually a critic of him.

To continue as my laptop went flat too. Lukaku did as much as he could too, i'm a critic of him but he kept causing them trouble and could have maybe should have scored. Kone certainly made a difference to us and should start next game. So now the weekend is nearly over, maybe it was just one of them days (Wales lost too) . But nothing was as sad as losing the Boss, who was part of my matchday rituals, hand shake after he left No 9. I missed him bad yesterday RIP.

Lord am I relieved I never posted my thoughts prior to yesterday's game.
Foolish old man thought we shouldn't be afraid of anyone, the squad we now have is up there with the best and for the first time in so many years real optimism!
Then they came out to Z Cars.

Mushy it was a bad result. That's exactly what it was one bad result. I said the end of the season will tell the tale about Martinez and I'm sticking to that. I also praised Martinez so far this season because I thought he deserved it. Very hard start to the season and yesterdays result was the worst, maybe along with Watford.

Every other game I thought Everton done very well and Martinez. let's not let one 0-3 result get us totally depleted. Get behind the team and encourage them to do better. After all that's what supporters are meant to do support the team through the good times and bad.

Man Utd were simply the best team on the day and it won't be the last time we get beaten this season. For me I'd start Robles next game even though I don't think Howard was much to blame for goals. Well taken goals by better team on the day.

P. S. R. I. P HK, many a game I enjoyed watching with him at the helm. Sheedy was the one for me. I'm not from Liverpool but I was young when Kendall was at Everton and it was because of him and the players that I chose to support Everton.

Stayed supporting Everton since, when other people just supported whoever is winning. Every scrappy relegation battle didn't put me off supporting Everton. Special club, hopefully we return to the glory days that Kendall brought to us all soon.

Hold you to that NBTB and look forward to comments after our next game away at Arsenal. As for Mr Kendall, I was privileged to be of that generation that watched him, Ball and Harvey, what a midfield that was. To top it off with him at the helm and the Teams of the 80's, what a man, what a Team.

Kman92, bit insensitive don't you think? Banter is all well and good but you could have picked a better day pal. Bad enough losing to the mancs for the first time at home in a while (and you lot always tell us you are blues for the day when we play them, at least after we win anyway) but have a bit of respect. We lost our most successful manager the morning of the game if you didn't notice.
So coming on here shouting your mouth off is a bit much for some of us. One last thing, did Wales get further than Norway in the rugby?
