It is sometimes unbelievable the rumours some of you believe a £10midfielder cominun when DM & BK state limited funds available, to some clubs £10m is lited but this is RFC so why do we build are selves up for the disappointment on deadline day, no one is going this window so no funds for someone in Johnny I wod rather keep so much worse already in the prem league ! Moyes will do his best as always trust him ! COYB

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I don't necessarily believe the rumours of a £10m player coming in but i'm not on the board so I can't say such a player definately won't come in either.

Bk and dm said the same, then out of the blue we paid 15m for felli! if you are a true fan you would know by now that we don't let anything slip and then pounce

Whatever the effect of the managerial change at Southampton has on their players for Monday's match, I fully expect DM and our players to ignore any wishful thinking about the possible negative/positive aspects. We should concentrate instead on playing our game. As for handling the opposition's strengths and weaknesses, it's surely unlikely that Southampton will completely change their way of playing so soon and we'll have prepared for the match based on our scouting of their recent matches. IMHO, we obviously need to score from the chances we create and be tight in defence. A draw wouldn't be a poor result, but we've had too many of those when wins were possible this season. IMWT. Once a blue, always a blue.

We southampton fans are just as shocked as you are about Nigel's sacking. I hate seeing every non southampton fan wishing us to be relegated. It's not the fans or the clubs fault, it's Nicola Cortese' {Ed025's Note - I agree mate..good luck, after your next game..

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Not wanting to sound harsh but I hope they go down now and miss out on the sly tv money. That will show the owner not to mess with the club. No disrespect to saints fans, of course.

I agree mate, bang out of order some of our fans hoping you go down, its not the fans who should suffer, hang your heads in shame whoever said that

Good luck for the season except Monday

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

Absolute joke sacking a manager that took not the greatest of teams to the prem and play some good football, atkins won't be without a job for long, I wouldn't be surprised if villa took him on when they sack lambert

Agree0 Disagree0

That's exactly what we think! Yet everyone blames the fans and the club, when its actually just one man who had this planned for a long time {Ed025's Note - I feel for you mate..some of our fans blame our chairman for not being rich enough to mix it with the big boys, but what BK is, is loyal, I hope some of our fans look at your situation and think...it could be a lot worse..

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Jan 2013 16:20:58
Some people might not agree but look what's going on at other clubs& we must thank moyes&bill for trying to look after are club, we all wish to be taken over&the promise of riches, so be careful what we wish for, not always the promise land

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Yes we must be careful what we wish for it's not like that we want a better and brighter future is it.

18 Jan 2013 16:01:14
Lets hope we can take advantage of Atkins getting sack, shouldn't have been sacked but 3pts a must for the blue boys !

Notice that Rodgers didn't criticise Sore-Arse for cheating, just for admitting to cheating. Their true lack of class comes shining through as ever!

Believable7 Unbelievable5

Why does it bother you much what goes on over there?

can't believe adkins has been sacked footballs becoming a joke! {Ed025's Note - your right..

Believable7 Unbelievable0

He deserved to be sacked. Taking a team from League 1 to the Prem in 2 seasons is ok. But only being 15th above teams such as Newcastle and Villa is a bit embarrassing. With players such as Jos Hooiveld and Artur Boruc, I expected them to be in the top 6 at this point, so I feel Adkins has underachieved and deserved to go. Good decision by the chairman there.

Mike {Ed025's Note - only you mike!..could make a bad situation look worse..

Agree0 Disagree0

That man has been treated in a disgraceful manner. I hope they get relegated.

Agree0 Disagree0

As long as we beat them and they beat our CL rivals I couldn't really care what they are up to

Southampton have sacked their manager. Could be a very good time to play them.

Nostrawigus {Ed025's Note - or a really bad time..

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Disgraceful. Shocking by Southhampton. I hope they don't win another game for the season. This bloke took them to League 1 to the premier league and they sack him. We complain about Bill Kenright, at least he shows loyalty to Moyes.

Aussie Toffee {Ed025's Note - I just hope they lose the next one Aussie ..:)

Agree0 Disagree0

What an absolutely crazy, ridiculous decision. He looked as though he was going to keep them up, now I'll not be surprised if they go down. I'm glad we don't have a chairman/owners like this and am happy with Blue Bill. Better the devil you know and all that...

Agree0 Disagree0

It is a good time Ed025. They are in form and their fans will be livid, there will be protests. Early goal for the mighty blues and it will be a Saints meltdown.

0 - 4 to Everton.

Nostrawigus {Ed025's Note - ill take your word for it nostra..

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure about being a good time to play them. There may be a backlash from the players and they'll want to put on a show for Adkins as a mark of respect and solidarity. Of course, it could go the other way but they're professional players and will want to do well.

For me...ideal transfers this window are:
Capoue 8-10m
Butland 5-8m
Amorebieta 400-500k
Out:
Heitinga to fenebahce 5-7.5m

What do you think eds and fellow blues...if any differences please tell!

EtidAaron {Ed025's Note - in our dreams Aaron ..

Add gameiro an you got a deal

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't take butland for that much. I personally think he's overrated. would rather see someone a little more experienced.

also don't think we would get more than 3-4 mil for johnny.

capoue and amorebieta would do me just fine though.

Wats apnin ed dyou think if Capone or m'vila sign it will be are replacemnt for fellaini as I can see Barkley being at Leeds until the end of the season and in are first team next year to replace felli, let me know wa you think m8 {Ed013's Note - There is strong interest from Arsenal for Fellaini, if Everton don't sign one of the 2 mentioned and Fellaini leaves then Ross Barkley will be back fighting for a place}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Arsenal may be interested in Felli Ed, but they are so "careful" with their money that I doubt they will reach the figure in Felli's release clause. I would be more worried if Chelsea or City were interested.

This is the English translation of the post to anyone who couldn't understand it. {Ed025's Note - it's all up in the air at the moment mate, IMO felli may well leave in summer, and plans will be in place if he does, either of those would fit the bill, and both would be amazing..

Would love of them mvila or capoue if we got both of them i'd probably cry but that's asking for a bit to much! 1 is enough! and just putting my opinion in but I really don't think fellaini is going anywhere! Champions league here we come! :D
