Hi all, Would not mind seen Martinez make a move for Bolaise and Puncheon from Palace. Bolasie has amazing pace, and Puncheon knows where the goal is, except from the penalty spot, or Dyer and De Guzman from Swansea, Dyer has amazing pace, and De Guzman knows where the goal is, Look Baines is taking the penalties ok. Honestly tough I think either set would be affordable and would be good editions to the squad Taughts?

Note to self-sign any player who plays well against us, dyer is decent at best, bolasie has all the attributes but isn't good enough, puncheon is on decent scoring form the last 4 games, before that, in his career he's hardly prolific and is woeful and de guzman can barely start for swansea, not good enough, all best suited to relegation threatened teams or mid table at best, there's my thoughts :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Why don't we get some quality. the dos santos brothers would be a nice addition. Giovani permanent and Loan the other one. Out of the ones youve mentioned, i'd only take De Guzman. Bolasie is fast. but that's it. Puncheon is inconsistent. Adn Dyer is ageing.

Agree0 Disagree0

To Swan and QB, if we are in Europe next season we are going to need a big squad. The players I mentioned would be good squad players without breaking the bank, squad players not first teamers. Bolasie not good enough well he thorn our defence apart time and again, Puncheon in rich vain of form yeah he sure is in a poor team, does not need many chances to find the back of the net gets 1 chance in every game and burys it. As for Dyer ageing look at Barry and we are after him and Dyer is 5 years younger. Anyway everybodys ageing I am older now than I was yesterday. All good players who would be better in a better team. Lads you have to look at the big picture we are going to need a big squad next season and 2 out of these 4 would be ok with a few big signings.

Callum mcmanaman tore man sitehs defence apart in the fa cup final, he wouldn't get nowhere near their team, wingers age worse than midfielders, barry doesn't rely on pace, dyer does and will lose it when he hits 30, puncheon wasnt good enough for southampton, he isn't better than any of our wingers, darren bent burys every chance he gets, don't mean we should buy him like, we will need 3 or 4signings for europa next season, when martinez plays youth, which he will, what we need is a right back, central mid, attacking mid, 2 strikers, maybe a goalkeeper and, with youth, that's enough, dyer, bolasie and puncheon are not good enough, we don't need wingers, de guzman is an attacking midfielder but let's face it goodboy, he's poor, martinez will sign the right players and imo none of them are good enough or have the tenacity and aggression to be at this club

Agree0 Disagree0

If we sign anyone it should be players who are 1st teamers or challenging for the position.i can't see the point in wasting millions on players who would bump up the numbers and struggle for a game.wheres the pressure on the 1st teamers doing that.would you rather sign puncheon off 4 good games or someone of the calibre of hazard

Agree0 Disagree0

I would ki from Sunderland!probably cost about 5 million!most underrated player in the premiership.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - a good player, but would he improve us?..

I do ed, he, s a very good passer of the ball which I think we are lacking a bit!plus he could at the very least be cover for Barkley, Barry and macarthy as he is so versitile!plus at 25 he's still got his best years ahead of him!.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - fair play NI, i just cant see him improving us mate, as a squad player very much a yes, but im hoping for a bit more quality when we go for a playmaker mate..

I think the difference this season is we are linked to players that, arsenal, liverpool, man city etc are linked to.no more having to scrap it out against Newcastle, fulham and villa for a player. We are after bigger and better players now, I mean dero you may want de guzman and the like but i'd prefer players like Lallana, Batshuayi, Martins Indi, Mario Suarez etc.we are moving in the right direction and I feel the whole club feels the same from board through to the fans . imagine where we would be if bobby became manager 4 years ago instead of becoming wigan boss.

Agree0 Disagree0

I really don't like Lallana dentie, he's so over hyped, and would you beleive that i'd acctually take ossie over him. He acts like he's too big for his boots. i'd take Rodriguez from Southampton and that's it. No point tryna get shaw because he's not in our price range. Maybe their right back as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Apr 2014 14:35:45
I agree to an extent qb, I think lallana is good, but not englands savior, this season he is doing good, before that and when I have seen him? Meh, and people still speak like he's a kid, he's 26!, although, imo, rodriguez and shaw are extremely overrated, shaw especially, he can't defend, like, to the extreme, I've seen wingers just spring past him and he makes no attempt, he is also overrated going forward, puts the odd decent ball in, well done, he loses possession very often and is caught out on many occasions, his reading of the game is weak, he is quick, not rapid, can't jump and is clumsy and takes poor touches of the ball and of course, he's english! I could rant on any english youngster and explain why they are overrated, typical, but about choosing ossie over lallana, I wouldn't go that far, maybe ossie over cleverley but that's it

Agree0 Disagree0

Basically summed up why i'm not keen on Lallana Swan. But I would take Clyne or Chambers for Right Back. They are quite decent. With regards to Shaw, I think he's a very good prospect myself. And considering he's only 18, there is quite a bit of maturing for him to do.

Nah not clyne mate, think we do need a right back but someone aged 17-20, as long term competition, we bought an irish lad from dundalk, dunno what happened to him, who is chambers? Apparently arsenal and even athletico madrid are after him? He played against us at goodison, I was laughing at him he was so bad, jeez, unexpected like

Agree0 Disagree0

I see your point ed he would be a good squad player! How about max Meyer from schalke 04? Watching bundeslega highlights and he's def a unbelievable talent!would cost 2 much I think though! :0

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - he's very good NI, but as you say his price and wage may be an issue as lots of clubs are eyeing him up mate..

I'd go for seb Larson, good replacement for an ageing Osman

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you guys been watching the same Lallana as I have been watching this season he is quality he is a England intanational and will most prob travel to the world cup. I love ossie he has blue blood just like me but to say say you would have ossie over this young stud is barmy he would get in our starting lineup without a doubt

Agree0 Disagree0

When have we been taken over by a multi billionaire, Lallana about 30m, Batshuayi 15m, Martins Indi 15m 60m on 3 players yeah well taught out Dentie, . Why don't we just go for Messi, Ronaldo and Inestia. Try to be realistic we can all name top players don't mean there in our price range.

Agree0 Disagree0

Martins Indi is available for 7-8 million.plus I was saying that these are the types of player we should be looking at.

My mate was out in allerton today (asda to be exact)- bumped into deloufeu and asked the all important question "where does your future lie for next season" to which he replied "at everton next season". He said he was enjoying life here competing in the team and showing what he can do. He also said he doesn't see his long term future at everton because he wants to be a barca legend and this is the quote that got took out of context by the tabloids saying he was going back to barca next season to compete for his place there (which I personally don't think he's ready for yet). The beginning of what he said had me excited for next season, the lad has talent and will only get better with more experience which is what he is here for. The picture he took with hashtag #evertonbehaviour has gone viral with 30 re tweets.

By the way, don't think we'll lose any of our last 4 games.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We need to win them tho, draws are not good enough. Think we deserve CL Arsenal have been poor in my opinion.

Don't know what you all think but to me, we need to start looking at next season. We'll win one from the next four so time to move on. A bit bitter about Wednesday night still maybe?

How much do people think we will have to pay for Lukaku in the summer? If we can get him between 15 and 20 million we would have a bargain.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - dont bank on him staying with us sunny. chelsea want to make barkley part of the deal...if he does leave chelsea, i see it being for between 20-25m mate..

Is there a chance we could loan him again ed? If not how much do you think we will offer?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - He won't be loaned to Everton again. As it stands right now Chelsea need the money to help keep the spending down and will look to sell him.}

Has anyone else heard of Hulls happy predicament? If Arsenal finish 4th this season, Hull have guaranteed themselves a place in Europa, no matter the outcome of the FA cup final. that's just so peachy. i'm more sure than ever now that they won't be doing us any favours this weekend. Woulda liked Jela getting a hattrick for us, but now nevermind.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I'm pretty sure they will get the EL spot even if Arsenal finish 5th

Agree0 Disagree0

There not 100 percent safe yet mate and Jelavic, Long can't play in the cup final because there cup tied so they will be playing Sunday if they lose and lose badly especially knowing they have us last game of the season we could actually relegate them it's no good playing in the Europa league if your stuck in the Championship. To be honest I can see Hull going out on Sunday to guarantee there Premier league status and can actually see them either draw the game or win it either way we just have to do our job.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fair point, but they've still got teams in and around them to face like United, Fulham and Villa, and they aren't favourites for the drop either.

Anyone know how any of our young players are doing on loan? If we're going to compete in Europe and at home some of them are going to have to step up

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think McAleny, Duffy and Lundstrum are all contending for a place in the squad. And Garbutt and Browning have been subs for a few games this season. I think RM has said Browning is a defo starter for next year. But I wanna see Kennedy and Long in action too. Hope is at Bury, and he's scored two in two which is pretty good.

I'm one of his biggest critics, don't even really like the man. But in build up to his return I can't help but feel a bit of nostalgia. He was appointed when I was 13, in my life before then we were scrapping relegation. Success to me had been Paul Rideout and Gareth Farrelly. Looking back it wasn't exactly bad was it? We were always at least looking up rather than down. There were lows but if it wasn't for that FA Cup semi win against Utd I wouldn't have my finest notch. Absolute stunner. don't appreciate how he left, or how he aggressively stalked our players, or his negative and boring tactics, especially against strong teams. As a man he comes across as cold and emotionless but I'm not looking forward to his reception, I'll feel sorry for him. Then again I also felt sorry for the school bully who got suspended for locking me in a stationary cupboard for 3 hours.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think he done a really good job for us and left the club in a much healthier state than when he arrived. However he disrespected the club with his pathetic comments and derisory bids.Personally I will not be booing or cheering, I will just ignore him.

Really frustrated with the midweek loss, would love to see us in the champions league where we belong. Gunna be a tall order to win all the games but if anyone can do it Bobby can.
