Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

17 May 2018 22:23:30
Well looks like fonseca had signed a new deal so we can forget about him. Looks like it's nailed on to be silva. Emery is probably out of our reach unfortunately. got to say I am a bit worried. I would prepare to have a run at arteta ok he has no experience but at least he hasn't got the experience of relegation and sackings. Just a thought.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

{Ed0333's Note - I don’t see why Emery is beyond your reach Kingy. You paid Scam an absolutely obscene amount of money I don’t think Emery would ask for that much more. You would give him job stability as he knows you won’t fire him if you get a few adverse results and he can build a team. And Liverpool has the intoxicating Superstar Boudoiur that can entice any man into its clutches.

18 May 2018 06:55:43
hahahaha we should do our transfer dealings in the boudoir ed anyone would sign anything just to get out.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - that's what you should have held onto Sam for! Stick him in the boudoir and threaten anyone who doesn't agree a new deal on your terms they have to spend a night in there with him.....}

18 May 2018 07:37:15
Hahaha love it get ed0333 on the board I say.

I am just amazed as I said earlier on about the speed that all this has happened, already, feeling that MrMoshiri will not stop there, I just have this feeling that at last we fans are in for a very very exciting time at Everton, on another note not sure how many of you are familiar with the NewsNow Everton site, but with so much going on it is a really good site with up to the minute developments about E F C as they happen cheers.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

17 May 2018 22:31:39
I look at NewsNow every day GB some very good articals in there not just rumours but well worth a look to get all excited about the future of our club at the moment everyday there seems to be something happening and we haven't even got a manager yet.

Now Moshi has gone Woods share, watch out for Usinov making a move to Everton.

Got Woods shares, where would we be without predictive text.

18 May 2018 16:39:57
NSNO maybe up to the minute but it is still rumour and conjecture the same as here. As you say nobody foresaw the speed of change Moshri would implement and KUDOS to him. On the Manager front, the new DoF hasn't (hadn't) started yet and I believe Mr Moshri will listen to his advice prior to appointing the new Manager. My personal opinion is that it should not be Silva, to much like Martinez and I warned about him prior to his appointment and look how that turned out.

They have already arranged an open top bus tour of the city to show the trophy off. Cocky or what! I hope it pisses down.

17 May 2018 18:14:13
The smell of bitterness is strong. What do you expect them to do? Organise it in less than 14hrs if Liverpool actually do win it. It's not like a celebration for winning a corner!

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2018 14:18:54
Points: 1. If Usmanov rumour turns out to be true there is an awful lot more going on behind the scenes than we envisaged. If true this makes Everton an awful lot more powerful and attractive than at present. 2. Watford sacked Silva and if we are interested in him (a mistake in my view, particular given point 1.) , what possible legal grounds have Watford to seek compensation, the football authorities should be laughing at them.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

18 May 2018 16:41:24
You can't argue with them being hacked off.
We sold them tom cleverly and then tried to buy their manager with the money lol.

Big Sam saying most Everton fans didn't want him out. Not my take on it.

Believable8 Unbelievable0

17 May 2018 16:42:09
I don't know which fans he talked to then. Most I spoke with did not want him in the first place. He is a born BS. Talks a good job but only does half a good job. Sadly now his is part of our beloved clubs history.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2018 17:59:06
I am glad he has gone but he did save us from possible relegation and I am ashamed of some of my fellow blues the way they been so against him from day one and the sheer nastiness and abuse that has been given to Sam.
I thank him for what he did and wish him well, now let's move on.

Agree1 Disagree0

17 May 2018 18:25:07
Not being funny dark but hardly relegation fodder were we. Not like we were adrift at the bottom a la palace.
I was firmly on the fence when Sam joined. I even slightly moved his side after first few games but laterly the football we were playing could put an insomnia to sleep.
Glad he's gone and the progress made in 2 short days (new CEO and new dof plus Sam going) hopefully will continue.

Agree2 Disagree0

18 May 2018 13:05:45
I have been disappointed by the comments from a large portion of Everton fans. Civility costs nothing and being expected to take someone else's team and make them trophy winners in six or so months is too much.
I think Walcott and Tosun are good additions to the side and maybe Sam just wasn't right due to his playing style and decisions but it's somewhat beneath the belt to shout Fk off irrespective of what happened.
I always thought you can't get much lower in creditability than Gerrard. Fans join in their thousands for the 96 and he appears with no thank you or creditability for the city of Liverpool just how he enjoys seeing Everton lose. He could have said my opinion of Everton as a team hasn't changed but .
Now, I see fans wearing blue who aren't any different in my opinion. They could have just said, thanks Sam but you're not proving you're the right choice, goodbye. I still remember what Sam's Bolton did at Goodison more than once and wonder if he'll endeavor to do it again with someone else.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 16:37:23
Let's not be surprised. We all know what this guy is like. He exists in his own deluded world.
I sort of admire it really.

Like Ross, let's forget him and look forward to what's EFC and not ex players and coaches, they're gone. Dusted.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2018 12:50:27
It's more of a whoever comes in as manager will be at the starting blocks of a many hurdle race, we can throw as many names about as we please but they have to want the project and we as fans have to accept it too. He's going to trip on 1 or 2 of the hurdles along the way and we have to see it through, get behind him and the team.
We have some exciting youngsters and some good players if the new guy gels them together and rebuilds the defence we should move in the right direction.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

17 May 2018 14:26:57
I think most supporters myself included will get behind the manager and the team if we see the players working and the team having an identity. What I don't want to see is 2 defensive midfielders every game regardless of the opposition, I think its about time we started integrating the youthful talent we have at our disposal. We can have 2 dangerous pacey outlets on both wings with Lookman and Walcott and given the right tactics we may see some decent attacking football. We need to see our record signing playing in his correct position get the age of the back 4 down and let's see the start of a new era. Mr Negative is gone, we now need some positivity and a man with a plan that the players and fans alike can buy into.

Agree1 Disagree0

17 May 2018 12:06:25
Let's not make the same mistake again. If we appoint silva and he loses his first game half the fans will want him gone. We need to be thinking bigger. Look at our club motto silva is not good enough. I'd like to see us putting all our efforts into bringing either emery or fonseca as they are the best options available at the moment so whatever it takes show us how ambitious you actually are moshiri and go and get one of them. let's get back to where we should be.

Several sites mate not just those mentioned above, go on NewsNow Everton cheers.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - They'll all have initially came from the same source.}

17 May 2018 17:24:15
Ed007: you’re right - just because a news item appears in several places (e. g. NewsNow, etc. ) doesn’t make it truer - it just mean’s that these other websites have trawled the Internet and are simply regurgitating the same original item. Indeed, those websites don’t claim exclusives, but rather cite the same source of the news item.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Spot on, Bobby. People think because something's 'all over the internet' it must be true but most of the sports gossip stories can all be traced back to one particular - and usually obscure - source. It took me a long time to twig onto that, that and SLY making up transfer stories to manipulate the betting market. Gggrrrr!}

Eds, with Leipzig coach leaving this summer, is there any chance of Everton getting him as new manager? Did well last season to get them in champs league.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - not if they don't make him an offer there isn't. If they do, then yes, every chance.}

17 May 2018 10:23:28
Thanks ed. Might as well just put a million names in a hat and pick one out. We just won't know til the club announce it. Think it needs to be done in the next 2 weeks to enable some player movement with world cup being a hindrance.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - there will not be that many names. It will be down to a choice between who Moshiri wants, who Brands wants and who the woman with the double-barrelled name wants. Moshiri is still behind Silva, so that's one major possibility, though the problem with him is the Watford complaint. No idea who the other two would want though.}

17 May 2018 10:51:38
Not sure how much football knowledge Denise has got but brands will have his own ideas. Makes for very interesting few weeks for you eds.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Mr Moshiri for moving Big Sam out and doing it so quickly, we have a Gem of an owner here, our prayers have finally been answered.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

17 May 2018 09:08:36
Totally agree on the Guernsey.
I've got nothing against Sam, proven Prem Manager, still has a place at clubs looking to settle and stay in the league bottom half.

Moshiri is a man of action, exactly what we've needed for years.
This is just business and it's smart business at the moment.

I wouldn't even knock him if this appointment isn't the exact answer. Keep us ticking in a progressive manner and get that new stadium Moz!

Agree1 Disagree0

17 May 2018 09:20:07
What I like is if he thinks he's made a mistake or doesn't feel the first choice was the right one, he changes it, doesn't try and hide behind his decision he changes it, I like that, I no it's business and he's not worries about throwing money at it until he gets it right, he bought people in, didn't work so a big change, but I hope we don't end up a club where we are changing things every season, sometimes you need to let things take time, as long as we aren't flirting with religation next season we need to give the next manager 2 or 3 seasons to do his thing.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 May 2018 09:58:40
Totally agree GB I have never seen such activity in 48 hours he's made a plan and put it into action, Sam did what he was brought here to do and will thank him for that but now comes a summer of excitement even more so than last summer.
Brands is saying all the right things and working with Riola should find us some exciting players, Silva next looking at all the headlines we need to get behind him show our support he should bring us attacking football. Roll on the start of the season.

Wasn't a fan of the football that Big Sam had us playing, but in fairness he got us to 8th. Which considering the appalling season we had, was an over achievement. He's £6m wealthier so I won't feel to sorry for him. Pleased to see Walsh depart, was very unimpressed with him, we paid over the odds for some average players presumably on his say so.

Brands sounds good, know little about him, but hoping he can bring something new to the club. As for the new manager, Silva doesn't fill me with any excitement, in my opinion a risk. Some decent names out there, just need to get the right man. Who will hopefully promote some decent attacking football, with an organised and solid defence. Otherwise I fear we will be having the same discussions in 12 months time.

Believable2 Unbelievable5

17 May 2018 07:20:31
Alastair, my thoughts exactly with the addition that many Clubs paid over the odds for players last two Windows and no doubt will do so this Window. Everton also suffered from the over hyped wealth of the incoming of a majority share holder. It does look like this time, Mr Moshri has had his ducks in a row for many weeks if not months. I am not versed on many foreign Managers so for me the only one I am comfortable with is Mr Benitez, the guy is knowledgeable, experienced and has won trophies, he is also still held in high esteem by that lot across the Park and realistically we cannot argue with that.

Agree2 Disagree4

Agree0 Disagree0

18 May 2018 16:35:42
I don't think 8th is an over achievement. I think its a place short of what BS should have secured. Especially considering between us, Burnley and Leicester, it seemed we were all trying our worst to secure 7th. No one wan6ed it it seemed until the last few games where Burnley pulled away. But they went 10 games without a win! Gave us every chance to catch em.

The void of last year we finished 7th but in a bubble a long way back from 6th and a long way clear of 8th.
That buffer is still there hence why we should be a bit disappointed not to claw 7th.

Arsenal and Chelsea both had appealing seasons and if we had been on it as we all hoped, surely they were both there for the taking? Oh well it is what it is.

Next season the league will be tougher at the top. Can't expect Chelsea to flop again. I wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal get a boost too.

I also think the bottom will be a little more competitive too. All 3 promoted clubs survived and are all financially in ok shape and have it in their hands to push on again.

Wolves look very good. Cardiff will struggle as I suspect Villa or Fulham too, I'd bet on 2 of 3 going back down.
Probably a blessing to miss Europa this summer what with all the work the club's has to do.
