I never boo are team during a game, not like many. I wonder Guernsey if you where booing our manager last year, the man that kept us up, I guess you where.
Rooney when he came back here with Man Utd oh yes and Moyes treated very badly by many when he first returned.
I doubt if you can honestly say you have not been friendly to returning players/ managers.

You earn respect nick and Ross has earned zero he done us out ov money then said he had never been coached, he's a disgrace and if he gets booed every time he touches the ball it's nothing short of what he deserves, I dnt agree with DC often but on this he is dead right.

Supporters pay their money and it is up to them if they want to cheer or boo.
We are not the supporter police and should not dictate how supporters support their team. Rightly or wrongly they are Evertonians.

If people want to boo, they have a right to boo. Is it right or wrong? That depends on personal view.
Coming on a public forum and slating the manager is no different to booing a manger in the ground. The only difference is the audience.

{Ed025's Note - honesty is the key smit, if you are not being entertained after paying good money then for me you have the right to boo, or cheer if the team are giving their all even though the result may not be what you wanted mate..

Agree Ed. Its akin to the punch and Judy of old. Cheer the hero and boo the villain.
There are worse ways to show discontent. And we have seen all sides of that in football this week.
Booing pales in to insignificance to what we have seen.

I personally wouldn’t boo a player, I do find it embarrassing if I’m honest, but that’s just me. Ross applauded the whole ground as he went off today, couldn’t work out if he was taking the Michael or being respectful!? Laugh at him by all means and jeer, I just don’t think booing him is Everton behaviour in my opinion. I’ve supported the club for a long long time and always we prided ourselves in being different from other clubs in the way we always had that bit of class in how we acted as a club and supporters. Anyway, great day today and well done blue boys!

I was made up when he did that to be honest, Pierre. He got pelters from the crowd with nearly every touch, rightly or wrongly, but it's not the entire fan base that booed him today or when he was playing for us. I'd like to think he was being respectful by acknowledging the crowd when he was subbed but, at the same time, if it was a sarcastic gesture due to the hostility of our fans then fair play, that's acceptable and amusing to me! At the end of the day, the result was the most important thing to take from the game and the team put a shift in second half.
