Can anyone tell me for definate if Sandro played in the farce of a game in Austria - I was under the impression he was playing and TBH I am surprised he did not score as everyman and his dog did

Maybe if played on left like Lookman, where he can come onto right foot or even through middle, then would definitely scored, no doubt bout that. Btw we Bern clambering for Dowell to be given a chance and he didn't score either. Just sell em all.

A few points. deadwood shows no respect to club nor player. Please refrain from being so insulting. Secondly, the comments on Sandro do make it sound like he is struggling. From what I have seen last season there is something missing and perhaps a change of club is needed? Mirrallas should be at the top of his game. He is at the peak of his career and has shown in the past what he is capable of with the right coaching. Hopefully the new manager can bring out what we know he is capable of. He is 30 years old. that should give him at least this season and the next.

Sandro played well albeit against a team that offers nothing competitive.

However, he got two assists and played with composure we didn't see last year.

He seems to be a better player coming from deep and how he was played. In fact looked a little like Richarlson that Silva had playing at Watford but on the right.

May be Silva is the man to unlock his potential. It's still really early days but it'll be interesting how Silva sees these players which will be different to how defensive managers see and position players to and attacking manager.

Sandro had 2 assists and was lively, should have had a goal too.
He was in the 1st eleven too so maybe Silva sees something he can work with. He's only 21/ 22 and only managed about 6 games in the prem so maybe he deserves a shot.

Been a long while since I posted everyone. Hope everyone is well!

I don’t think we need a lot to improve. Let’s not rush and make the same
Mistakes as last year. Let’s bring in a centre back and a left back.

I think that will do us until we see what type of formation and style MS will play. If we could get N’zonzi which I’m not too sure we can. I’d also go all out for him. Think he is a top draw player.

Hopefully Dowell gets more of a chance this year too. Not too sure his exact position all the attiributes to play in the Siggy roll for me. Not the pace to play wide.

I would like to see another forward however I think Tosun could be a goal scorer in the Prem I think Walcott can do a job. There too if needed.

I’ve heard Lookman wants away but sure how true. But I’d give him a start the kid is raw and exciting exactly what we have missed all last season.

Sigurdsson has a good WC and will hit the ground running. Build the team around this fella. Utter class.

Has Silva announced a captain yet? Hopefully Coleman.

But my ideal signing would be nzonzi tierney and Koulibaly. But hey we can all dream.

Something that I've only just found out - George Hirst (the young SheffWed forward who we were reportedly interested in for our U23s) has actually signed for Belgian club OH Leuven.
I wonder if there will be any specific U23 signings that Unsy wants to develop now that Brands/ Silva are here.

Living in South Africa and not getting to see all Everton games; can someone fill me in on some questions:
1) Is Williams that bad or just did not fit with the managers.
2) Lookman looked great when I saw him. Going to be a pearl IMO. Why is there talk he would be loaned out again. personally thought it was a massive mistake.
4) Is it not prudent to have a little faith in Bolasie? I know how hard it is to come back after a serious injury but maybe patience is required.
3) With Coleman, Tosun, Wally, Lookman, Bolasie, and the youngsters a year older, and with Siggy coming in fit, don't you think we are more promising than last year?
My view is I think it was not the talent but the attitude.

Williams just isn't good enough smeggs, to be polite it's probably his age he's a championsh player at best now, as for bolasie he was a headless chicken before his injury so he's also got to go, hopefully this window will see better quality players arriving without us having our trolleys pulled down, pay a fair price and that's it.

Understand about Williams but Bolasie was a breath of fresh air at Palace. Did not see any of him before his injury at Everton but I can't help but think that what we paid for him and his wages we might not have a choice other than to keep him.

The way I see it:
1. Williams has regressed, and quickly. Doesn’t have the legs and his temprament makes him a bit of a liability. i'd get rid.
2. Brands has stated how big a fan of Lookman is, so I doubt he’ll be shipped out.
3. I've never understood the hype regarding Bolasie. All flair with little end product. We’ll never get anything close to the fee paid so cut our losses.
4. With the right ethos, the talent can thrive. Wether they will is a different question.

Bolasie can be exciting on his day, unfortunately they are rare like the 29th of February although maybe he’s still not 100% after his injury. Anyway I think we need to push on with a new direction and seems he’s on his way out
Williams I think has lost more of his pace although the fight is still there unfortunately that fight seems to become frustration and he loses his cool.
Lookman must and I mean MUST stay!
And I feel the players here already will be stronger and better this year just with a few additions. More like keyhole surgery than butchery lol.
