Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Can't believe the rubbish written about so called transfers in the papers.

Manchester United ARE SET TO LAUNCH (so its still not happened....wow, how long will it be before they finally launch?)a £10m bid for Everton left back Leighton Baines, according to the Daily Mail (who never make anything up!)

The report claims that United WILL LOOK TO open talks (when exactly?) with Everton either during the coming week OR THEY MAY DECIDE(ahh, so they are not "set to launch" after all) to wait until chief executive David Gill returns from his holiday in America so he can lead the negotiations.

Incredible journalism.....no facts....just "maybes". Might as well say....we are set to think about the idea of signing Lionel Messi. We will look to open talks to raise the whole issue or we may decide to wait for a Kuwaiti trillionaire to help us think a bit more clearly about the whole possibility.

Whenever you read "set to" or "will look to", it means the journalist knows sod all.

So the rumour is true then

"So the rumour is true then"

Yes it is true, it is a rumour, well spotted. I too can spot a rumour, like this one ...
Brendan Rodgers is in The Royal Liverpool Hospital with a bad side.......

Just a thought, but if we do have to sell baines (and I hope we don't) I think we should try and get a player in the deal, 10 mill plus berbatov? (who has just been on Ssn saying he wants a move for first team football) if we sell for 20 mill every club will know we will have money and ask for inflated prices on new faces? With berba we would get a second top class striker at the club and have a pot of money to sign a good young replacement for leighton!
Yorkshire blue

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Would rather have £12 mill and Wellbeck , Berdatov is too old

Agree0 Disagree0

If we have no money lets get as many players exchange as poss , we no if Moyes sells he will not have the money to spend so lets get at least 3-4 players for him .your thoughts ed?

Agree0 Disagree0

Try 20 million an Berbatov n Hernandes an id think about it.Rob Walker

Agree0 Disagree0

Berbatov and Jelavic = unstoppable !

Agree0 Disagree0

If, and I also hope we don't, we sell Baines then I'd much rather do that too. Berbatov's wages would be too high though. Personally, I'd prefer someone like Macheda instead. He's young with some great potential. If not permanent, then on loan with a view to a permanent.

However, we all hope and pray Baines stays.

Keith EFC

Agree0 Disagree0

The only reason that a club hasnt come in for berbatov is that he is on 120,000 per week

Agree0 Disagree0

50 million + rooney + hernandez +wellbeck +vidic might think about it

Don't agree berbatov is poo though and he's got a few good years left in him, it's only a year ago he wa top scorer in the league, age won't matter, not like he had any pace to lose is it!!

Everton makeover soon.....Bernie Wright and brett Angel will be the marquee signings, but that's just the start....cant say anymore...looks like Barcelona want Mike Lyons and Dave Unsworth.....could cost them a bit....think we might get Trebilcock on a Bosman. {Ed051's Note - fuuny

Disappointed if we can only go as far as bringing in Michael owen.....nothing to do with him being an ex-red....its just a case of looking at the last few years of his career.....hardly played....and seemingly not too bothered about that....picked up a good wage to warm the bench at Old Trafford.....if he had a real hunger inside him, he would have left United some time back. Seems happy to pass his life on the horses and twitter and play the odd game. Is this the kind of player we need at an Everton side which is becoming more enterprising and with a hunger to hit the ground running? Michael Owen had his chance to join us a few years back and declined. SAF would not have let him go if he thought he still had legs in him......Everton deserves better!

Believable7 Unbelievable0

Absolutly spot on there mate, shame you didn't leave a name. I don't want him, I don't rate.....

1. His pace is gone
2. He has no loyalty
3. Thinks we are his retirement club.

We should not be entertaining this player

Toffee ace

Agree0 Disagree0

Both bang on ref owen, I seriously hope this is not true, don't want him using up valuable wages to sit on physios table for half the season, especially after he blew us out for uniteds bench
just don;t want him at our club end of, pee off to the stables and we don't need you bleeding us dry at the end of your career
wella

Agree0 Disagree0

Interested in the line "SAF would not have let him go if he thought he still had legs in him". How many players has old purple nose let go over the years as they were deemed surplus to requirements? Gibbo, Howard, Nev, Saha and further afield Stam, who IMO was real quality, to name but a few. Don't get me wrong tho, I have NEVER rated Owen, even when he first started out with that lot. Never had a left peg, too small and lightweight for the Premier League and can only shoot with the outside of his right foot. I don't particularly want him. I agree it will be a waste of valuable resources but whatever Moyes decides will be good enough for me, and if he does sign, I'll cheer him on. BlueTone

Pienaar tweeted 'London here I come'. Does this mean that he is going to meet with Spurs officials about coming back to us or does it mean that he is staying at them.

It means he is getting on a plane that flys into london!

From a few of my sources and colleagues within the a league I am led to believe that Tim Cahill will have a major share in the new upcoming a league team west Sydney wanderers and will also be taking on a player/coaching role as soon as his contract with us is up unless we choose to release him, so it's us until we dont want him anymore and then hes going home and like I said that's from inside sources. Obviously I cant guarentee it but I hope that puts to rest the china rumours for now.

SydneyBlue {Ed025's Note - i hear he is going back to oz as well syd..

Believable2 Unbelievable0

With football becoming bigger and bigger in Australia it would be boss if Cahill set up a football academy in Australia { with some help from Everton } and tim could tell the younger lads about how great are club is and maybe bring some over to train at finch farm and you never know even play for the mighty blues, do people think its a good idea or a stupid idea. Terry blue {Ed025's Note - good idea for me terry, there is a lot of untapped antipodean talent out there..

Agree0 Disagree0

Hasn't Timmy already got a Academy over there,
y0rksh1re_blue {Ed025's Note - im no too sure yorkie..

Agree0 Disagree0

It looks sure to happen Ed Timmy is a massive ambassador for the sport down here and the west Sydney team believe he can attract marquee players and Terry I have been involved in promotions for a few workshops that Timmy has organized he is so good with the kids and is really dedicated and works really hard with them, his work never ends, he wants to turn Australia into a dominating force in football

SydneyBlue {Ed025's Note - i cant see that happening any time shortlly syd. but they have made a lot of progress in recent years..

Agree0 Disagree0

Good feedback that lads cheers, what about tho Everton setting an academy over in Australia and maybe tim overlooking things and been an ambassader {spelling} type figure.. to Sydneyblue how big are we in Australia and as a club are we getting more and more fans down under mate. Terry blue

Agree0 Disagree0

Timmy is a legend {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Terry I think it would be a great idea for everton to set up an academy it wouldn't cost that much and would be great exposure and a chance to get some young talent. I actually played for a team which was a feeder club for west ham they only put in a small amount of funds and had the pick of the players, I don't understand why everton don't do something like that.
We aren't that big over here unfortunately but we have definately got bigger since Timmy did really well in the world cup for a while there every sports shop wee selling our shirts with Cahill on the back unfortunately I can't even get a shirt over here anymore!

SydneyBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

Thanks for the info Sydneyblue..Tim cahill is a legend and for me hes not only the best Everton signing in the last 10 years he is also the best premiership signing in the last 10 years, tim you are the best of the best and want you to be working in some degree with Everton for ever mate { and before someone writes in no am not a stalker i just think hes boss }. i really think we should go for Kevin Mirallas, he would be about 4-6 million but he is really good. him or holtby on the right

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Im half english half greek, everton and olympiakos are my teams, mirallas has the quality to play for everton, but not as a right winger, he is a striker, who has been linked with efc in the past! has a good friendship with felliani too wich is good, a player everton should be looking at is giannis fetfatzidis, right winger for olympiakos and greece national team, didnt feature in the euro's as coach santo's believes in experience over flair, he can also play just behind the striker and is really quality, both would be available for about 8.5 million, wich would state we need to sell for that to happen, young greece under19 captain giorgos katsidis had a trial with everton and scored in an 11v11 training game, had really impressed david moyes! can play attacking midfield, right wing, and striker, will become a free agent once aris accept his plea of release

Took the kids to the Brazilica Samba fotty show in town yesterday. All was going well, the kids having a great time, until one of the events people tried to sell me a raffle ticket to win a signed Lucas Leiva shirt.
