Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Ok so here it is. We are unlikely to qualify for Europe this season or get relegated. Therefore paying over the odds for players now will not really change anything. We are more likely to work with the squad we have now and continue to plan for the summer, when I believe we will see a big change in what I would call "squad players" leaving the club, while strengthening the weak points in our team. And before people say what about league position, well in reality the money is peanuts to what clubs get nowadays.

There will be no panic buys whilst MB is DoF. No paying over the odds and no more Niasse’s either.

We may get the occasional Niasse, TA, even Brand may make a mistake. can't see anything happening this window and that's not a problem for me we should comfortably avoid relegation. Its just getting who we have to perform to their best which should be a good indication as to how good Silva actually is.

Hate t say it but in my opinion one of the problems for our poor form has been Sigurosson. He has added little to our attack and his dead ball efforts have been poor. I would give him a rest, Digne can do a good job with corners and dead ball shots. Put Richarlison back on the left, Lookman on the right, Calvert-Lewin in the center and Bernard as #10. On the other hand what do I know?

I completely agree with you Mike. I was saying the exact same thing after the Bournemouth game. Siggy’s just not been at the races lately, whether it’s because he needs a rest or he’s having a dip in form I don’t know. He’s been trying to make things happen but it’s just not been coming off for him. I think Bernard is a good shout to take over his role for the next game, he seems to link up with other players no matter where he plays on the pitch, the only thing that worries me is he is very easily pushed off the balled although he could buy more fouls in dangerous positions because of this. I don’t think Silva will change anything but I’m sure it will be playing on his mind as he’s shown he’s not afraid to bring sigurdsson off early or even leave him out the team sometimes. As for Lookman, he HAS to be given a run of games now, he’s 10x the footballer Walcott is. Loses possession less, has better vision, better end product, creates space for himself better. It’s jusy baffling he’s been left out the team for so long.

I mentioned not long ago that some players could possibly be suffering from fatigue. It happens now and then, even to the best of them. Rest Siggy. Rest Gomez. Rest Walcott and maybe Seamus too. Do it now and I'm sure - except for maybe Walcott - we'll soon see them back at their best.

I know we had a few fixtures over Xmas but we went out of the Carrabea cup early, some teams are playing in the Carrabeo cup, Europe, the f a cup and the premier league, but not many are making many rotations.

We however have made 6 changes in the Carrabea cup, another 5 in the fa cup, so if this is the case, we need to step up the fitness levels, sorry for mentioning Moyes, but we played usually the same set of players and the number of times we scored late in the games and still looked fit after 90 mins was a credit to Moyes and getting the players fit.

I have yet to see an Everton team full of energy since then.

Fair points BigNev, especially about the fitness levels, but we/ I'm not talking about making 5 or 6 changes, just the one or two who are clearly misfiring. I know before some smart/ a says I mentioned 3 or 4 players but with Seamus he hasn't looked the same since his injury and Walcott, well, is a lazy tw-t who needs a permanant rest imho lol.

Morning Ed's hope you are well. Do you have any info on Braga's midfielder Bruno Xadas? I know a 25M Euro move to Monaco fell through last summer to Monaco due to a foot injury but I'm hearing a move to the Premier League may be on the cards? Would love it to be us as this lad is quality.

{Ed002's Note - All I can say is he won't be moving to Everton I am afraid. Monaco remain keen and another EPL side has expressed an interest. Everton have not.}

Cheers ed002 also do you know if we have made any serious bids for any of the players mentioned within your sharkpod or any serious bids to buy/ loan any of our current players that may materialise during the Jan window?

{Ed002's Note - Not that I can think of.}

Cheers Ed, appreciate your reply and thanks for the info - shame it's not us, really think this lad will go to the highest level, is he likely to move in this window do you know?

{Ed002's Note - I try and avoid any timescales. And he has had a really bad injury.}
