Loads of posts laughing at Rooney back here soon.
Not saying it's going to happen but look at situation.
1. Rooney/Moyes hmm not working
2. Both went to court against each other.
3. Utd will not sell to a team who they consider to be competitors for title (coyb!)
4. Kenwright and Rooney are said to have wept on phone when he said he was off (okay bit girly but gaccept what BK

England could get so far this world cup if they actually used baines to his highest ability they don't pass to him enough

Am I alone in believing Bainesy was and should of been mom in last nights England Scotland friendly? When it was given to Wellbeck, who for me wouldn't get picked pudding or beef on the holler, I was amazed. The only reason he gets picked for England is the fact he plays for united its certainly not on ability. Its the old media darlings love in with anyone but everton imo {Ed025's Note - i may be biased jimmy...but i thought bainsee was MOM..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Your not biased ed your clued up about your football. And know a mom performance from a below average one. {Ed025's Note - cheers jimbo..

welbeck always seems to get motm for england just because he doesent stop running but in terms of ability he is pretty much useless okay he has a bit of pace but can't finish or take a man on don't get what all the hate is on our players especially andy townsend who always moans about jagielka, 'jagielka should of told cahill to tackle' 'jagielka should of cleared that' even though johnson is the one who plays right back and jags plays left sided centre back so yes our players never get mentioned like that cockney doing commentary over the juventus game saying baines wouldn't get in any of the top four squads because cole evra gibbs and clichy are all better and btw sorry for the poor punctuality on this post and my last one i'm typing on a blackberry playbook and its annoyong trying to seperate my words and spelling properly so again apologies

Agree0 Disagree0

According to Adrian Durham on talk***** he didn't play very well, personally thought he was brilliant and most of the play went through him second half

Agree0 Disagree0

I personally think he is a good player but built up to much in terms of ability he is never going to be world class

I see Moyes is already making excuses, "the toughest start to season for 20 years".

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Looking for an easy start playing the likes of hull or palace. Don't matter who you play in the prem there are no easy games, If they (united) lose a couple of early games the pressure will certainly be on for Moyes.

Agree0 Disagree0

You've still got to play everyone twice, so I don't see his problem. And they have to consult the clubs, police etc to arrange the matches, so Utd have arranged it yet he still has a problem. Out if his depth.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well he is certainly filling ferguson a shoes accusing fixture list as fixed

Agree0 Disagree0

His problem is that he wanted an easy start to settle the fans and his staff - if the start by not winning the pressure cooker starts to heat up big time - and although you play everyone twice the jitters can set in and confidence drains away

Just wondering do people think barkley will get many starts this season, or will he be used mostly as a sub.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think Ross 's day is coming but not today.

Agree0 Disagree0

I suspect as sub until he becomes more adept in the prem, if he has a good run of form he may start a few but that will come with time

Agree0 Disagree0

I think and fear he's going to spend most of this season on the bench but will play in the cups as Martinez's style to field a youthful cup teams.

just hope it's enough to keep the lad happy

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope he gets more time this season, moyes did not use him enough, he needs to build his confidence in the first team.

Think it all depends upon if we get another centre mid in or not.

A note to Rm if felli is sold to free up funds please do not give that person Dw
Anymore of our money 20 mil for McCarthy is a joke at 10 mil it would still be a massive gamble for a lad that
Doesn't dominate a game has no pace
Has never scored double figures in season if we're to spend that type of money you want all of the above and more also with that type of price tag he
Would have to get of to a good start the
Fans will not give you long it could prove a disaster for Rm also Imo if we are to brake our transfer record surely
It has to be for a striker

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He's a CM, He doesn't need pace or to scored goals.

I for one am of the opinion that Leighton baines is the best left back in the league, but if the club decide to sell him then we got to go for the second best, and at 17years of age its luke shaw. This kid is already amazing and is gona get much better. {Ed025's Note - lets just keep baines, why settle for spam when we have prime beef?..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Luke Shaw look good but not sure enough to replace Bainesey now. He 's still young. I am worry we buy him and have to buy Bainesey sudden replacement.

Agree0 Disagree0

We already have a replacement in oviedo if baines goes

Agree0 Disagree0

I also think garbutt and oviedo could step in if the worst happens

Agree0 Disagree0

Shaw has just signed a new contract and like Ed said let's just keep baines.

Agree0 Disagree0

Luke shaw is the next big thing in my opinion but he has recently signed a new contract and his price will be inflated plus he's happy were he is

Agree0 Disagree0

I like Shaw. But I would rather hold on to Baines. let's cross that bridge when or if it appears.

It appears to me that all the British clubs are holding on to their cash unless spending it abroad. Even then players seem to be overpriced. British based players seem to be at a premium and clubs are not willing to sell. I can see this being a very quiet transfer window all round. Maybe the last few days will see more action, but for now everyone seems to be playing a waiting game. Perhaps if Madrid sign Bale, that will allow them to sell Ronaldo to Utd who in turn will sell Rooney to Chelsea. Then Chelsea will probably release one or two and the domino effect will kick in.
I am not sure we are involved in this merry go round, but are still looking abroad or in lower leagues. There are some bargains around and our club has managed to identify them in recent seasons. let's hope that was more to do with the club than Moyes.

Ive got mixed emotions about Fellaini. He is a top player, but if we don't have much funds and could get 30m for him, it is difficult to turn down if that money would be re-invested into the sqaud. What do you think Ed, time to depart with Fellaini? {Ed025's Note - dont lose your best players has always been my view..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lets be fair there are not to many like him he has the ability to play for anyone he will now be the midfield shield he is immense at what he does and will grab goals he will destroy anyone he is against

Agree0 Disagree0

No one is bidding for fellaini - he's not a champs league player - relax - he's good for us - but too slow for champs league

Agree0 Disagree0

No one is stupid enough to pay £30m for him when they could have had him already for £23m. We'll get £20m tops, if he goes

Agree0 Disagree0

If RM is coming out stating MF release clause date has expired then that says one thing "if you want him the price has gone up" I don't see any outgoing players, our prices are too steep, especially for moyes as he will be looking at what he initially paid

Agree0 Disagree0

It amazes me poeple thing we could get 30m when no body triggered his 23m buy out clause, i'm guessing you think somebody not in the champions league has that to spend, I doubt it

I read through these posts every day and sometimes put the odd post up myself, today can you all please please please think before you post random rubbish, I mean that shout for miller 33, have a word! Today let's have some sense people.

Baz

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It's a joke! Why so serious

Agree0 Disagree0

It is a bit daft, but if that's what gets you mad you have serious issues

Agree0 Disagree0

So Milner, who will play in a high percentage of citah's and englands games is not good enough for us? I would like us to sign younger players in an ideal world, but an experienced player like Milner to help our youngsters is not a bad shout. Blue Lee

Agree0 Disagree0

The OP meant Miller the Scotland player who scored a decent goal against England last night. Ordinarily, he's bobbins and plays for the Vancouver knuckleheads or whoever in Canada's pensioner league, but since he scored that goal, some people think should play for Everton. Heh. Those crazy cats.

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha well done lee mate good way to lighten up the op statement

would anybody consider alex butner or fabio being a part in a baines deal if we were to sell him. just thinking there is younger options and baines is 28 still an amazing player though

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No neither's contribution is anywhere near Baines standard, both run around like headless chickens, and no composure

Agree0 Disagree0

No get the money (20m+) and give it ALL to bobby or tell moyes to do one

Agree0 Disagree0

No chance, though it looks like we may have lost Siqueira? to the RS. Fabio and Buttner are nowhere near the class of Lord Leighton of Baines. Cash or nothing.
