Mirellas looks amazing the player I always tried to be. But its good to have the. Optimism back. Will he have the freedom to play, I don't want to get carried away from a video clip because drenthe would look awsome from a video. I have everything crossed hoping for more attacking formation i used to love watching trevor steven, peter beagrie, limpar etc I can tell my son then that's everton & that's how football should be played.

I've just watched Mirallas on you tube, I don't normally bother as you never get a true picture of their overall play. I have to say though that this chap looks amazing!!
Very tricky, very quick, scores with both feet, strong on the ball, only £6m, honestly I think I must be dreaming, surely we are not in for him, it all sounds too good to be true!!
Reports suggest we are in negotiations. If this is true and we end up with a player like this on the wing I think we can be very optimistic going into the new campaign

i am not normally one to youtube a player as obviously it only shows the good points of a player. however this mirallas lad looks very good and skillful. looks like he has a lot of confidence to take a man on and also a lot of ability to pull of some of the tricks he is doing. However it does surprise me a little as he looks a bit too skillful for moyes. lol. he prefers his little grafters. but this lad looks really good and hopefully he is as good as he looks on youtube. however looks more of a winger than a striker although can play both. i also want this johnson business sorted soon as the longer it goes i can see the rs snapping him up from under our noses. mirallas, johnson and one more squad player and it'd be our best summer window in years to follow our best january window this year. 1878barlow {Ed025's Note - you right mate..

Getting really excited now, just shows how some money can really boost evertonians. Let's hope we get investment and it will be like this every window.
I think we will get 2 players and those players will be either: Miralles, Phillips or niang.
Miralles - reports are saying that we have agreed a fee of 6 million but before last night I thought he was going to the gunners and Miralles did say they have contacted him. I want this one to happen most of all say lets hope he comes to us.
Niang- A 17 year old prodigy who again was highly linked to the gunners and even trained with them before they got a bid rejected. He is unproven but this one seems likely as he is heading down to finch farm for a trial.
Phillips- we all know who Phillips is but can he make the step up to the prem? Personally I'd like this to happen more than niang because we need a right mid and I know niang can play on the flank but it's not his proper position and it's like playing anichebe on the left.
Anyway we have to get the transfer in by Friday so they can play against united.
However if we sign phillips and Miralles, where does this leave Naismith. If we sign the two I would play:

IN DEMAND teenage striker M'Baye Niang will arrive at Everton today for a three-day trial – but the Blues are likely to miss out on Clint Dempsey.
The 17-year-old France U-21 forward will be at Finch Farm until the weekend, allowing David Moyes to decide whether to part with some of the funds he received for Jack Rodwell on Sunday in order to secure his signature.
Arsenal have reportedly had an offer of £5m rejected by Caen for their precocious attacker, but it's likely Everton would still not have to pay in excess of that figure if they were to propose a different way of staggering payments to the relegated French side with more up front.
But with Spurs also hot on his trail and AC Milan waiting in the wings, it is by no means certain that the Blues will be able to persuade him his future is with them.

Everton to sign both Mirallas and Niang and Anichebe set to leave.Niang will only sign if he does well in his trial.
Johnson wage is blocking a deal Moyes is trying to come to an agreement with City to pay 50/50 for his wage. Matt Phillips is probably likely to join but not heard anything myself.

Why does it always seem to take efc ages to sign someone, the peanuts deal took ages even naismith seemed a long time, I really hope we get johnson from city, but if we've been in talks for 2 weeks about rodwell why couldn't this have been sorted, instead if we get him now he will have had about a days training with his new team mates before are 1st game of the season, and they can't say its cos he's on england duty rodwell is in the same squad(until he pulls out injured) not moaning I'm happy were signing anyone just wish we could of sorted this one quicker.

SSN sources saying that we are trying to sign mirallas today. medical set for thursday. Good bit of news for us blues as the lad knows were the net is. Imagine jelavic and mirallas up top. LETHAL.
Everything seems to be falling into place now for a great season for us now and a couple more signings possibly adam johnson and mirallas could make us push higher up the league. Also I just hope that we have every player available for the man u game and come monday night i and many evertonians will be singing are hearts out for the blue boys. Heres to a great season :D

Money is such a luxury at Everton, we get so excited and i think it's a good job its Moyes at the helm and not one of us. It would have burnt a hole in my pocket by now lol.
We dont need 4 new wingers though, Mirralas & niang (or phillips) are great as they will eventually (specially niang) be predominantly strikers but are versatile.
Please lets not forget about Gueye. I think he was quality last 5 or 6 games and we don't want to wreck that progression.
Loan of AJ is exciting but I'm still a believer that his work ethic is not one which would sit well with Moyes. Plus city wouldn't loan him for nothing because of financial fair play so £80000 a week for some1 who doesn't work like an Everton player should is a no go for me.

The belgium lad looks good if we can sort deal. I'm a little worried every1 wants us to get every winger in the world tho. naisey, AJ, niang, Mirralas, tom ince, phillips. were not a city who will rot players.1 more and a young left back would do me. Maybe Niang as striker 2 because his potential must be there(too many big clubs stalking him for him to be rubbish)

if we get those signings, no doubt that we'll be challenging for europe and have a good cup run, hopefully win a trophy.. i'm feelin somethin about this season, i reckon we're gonna smash it!

Posted few days ago stating we probably buy a player not previously mentioned. Mirallas springs to mind! Nobody had any idea regards the sale of rodwell. However although jack is a fine player he wasn't an automatic starter for us. Mirallas and johnson or phillips would be fantastic instead of having jack. Think we still have another player on moyes raidar who we havent heard any rumour of plus a few loanees. In moyes we trust. We are on the way to becoming a top four challenging team by the end of this transfer window if recent rumours become reality. The squad numbers are still small but we could hopefully pick up few more squad players and i looking forward to the season, feel like a kid on xmas eve. Coyb paul c

i tell you what blues, being totally honest i didnt know FA about this Kevin Mirralas kid so i "youtubed" him and i know you cant judge a player on 4 minutes if his best bits but this lad has got mad skills and by the looks of things he loves to run at defenders which is what we have been lacking for years with the exception of Peanuts! he has scored a good few goals aswell! He looks a steal at 6M and only 24 aswell another Moyes Gem if it comes off!

I posted back in the beginning of July, that Adam Johnson was a possible signing 6-8m. The stumbling block was instalments rule set out by PL with British to British clubs... A few responses rubbished this saying he was worth twice as much... Well my source is from Sunderland and has since told me to just be patient as this has got real potential as the clubs are looking at add ins (Whatever they are?).
Anyway don't want to get your hopes up but fingers crossed hey!
