steven fletcher to us if wolves go down (1.5 mill)
next season

howard
coleman jags heitinga baines
pienarr (4mill) rodwell felliaini gueye
fletcher jelavic

bench: butland (3 mill if its possible), distin, hibbo, gibson, osman, cahill, anichebe

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Coleman? get a grip - he's useless

he's one of the players we need to quickly improve upon if we're ever to match the 'top' teams

Agree0 Disagree0

Wolves are not going to let Steven Fletcher go for 1.5mil, your having a laugh at that mate.

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop judging Coleman on his performances in midfield... he is a right back and has only been playin in midfield as we are covered at right back and were short in midfield for a while. When he moves back to right back he will be a great player.. Just wait and see!!

aflm78

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes a crap right back as he cant tackle, he would get stripped most weeks, penalties and free kicks galore...open your eyes. without pienaar and jelavic we are not competitive

Agree0 Disagree0

And you are basing this decision on what exactly? How many times have you seen him play RB? Give the guy a chance, he can still come good... As for the Pienaar/Jelavic comment not sure where that came from really as my comment was about Coleman being a RB...?

aflm78

Agree0 Disagree0

Based on the majority of appearances he makes. He would give away too many free kicks and penalties, and to add to that he can't cross either. Squad player at best. Bit of an exaggeration to think he will be a 'great player' although everyone is entitled to their opinion. We need to sign a right back no doubt, just finding the funds for a decent one

Agree0 Disagree0

I just think he has the pace and tenacity to be a good RB plus he seems to be able to hold onto possession in tight situations. Agree that his tackling and crossing could be better but would like to see him get a run at RB before we decide to chuck him!

Why is it we always choke against Liverpool we go into the game having utterly outclassed a very good Sunderland team 4-0 and they have just scraped a 2-1 against Blackburn but we still throw it away! Seems to me we lack composoure and someone who can just sit back on the balk slow the game down and pick a killer pass
Also not too sure where cahil was playing thought he would have been supporting jelly but I saw him countless times picking it up just in front of the back 4! {Ed025's Note - its about self belief mate...a department in which we are sadly lacking..

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Ok read planty of the both sides and its a good rant. Everyone enjoyes it.
As far as teams go , u have to admit liverpool is a better team. Has more matchwinners then everton. Though at the moment you were in better form.
See tha basic diffence is just look how u take on a match like this or even againest better teams manu, chelsea, arsenal etc. And how they take the match of this type. Everton are never short of emotion and hardwork but big matches needs something more. A bit different tactics something spl thats where moyes faults . You can never treat a game against a inform sunderland same as againest a even a poor performing liverpool. The point is not to give liverpool great respect. For that matter take the game against manu. Look how you perform against manu n how liverpool do.

Lets keep our heads up and finish the season strong, if we keep it going and start next season strong there is no reason we shouldn't be challenging for that 4th spot, Newcastle are doing it and we probably have an all round better team than them (apart from the strike force)

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Come on, I love Everton, but top 4, don't you think that is a bit of a stretch? Maybe if we sign 2-3 quality wingers, a striker and a right back. But we won't have the money for that.

Lets leave the ridiculous statements to the lot across the street, they seem to have it down pat.

Agree0 Disagree0

We can challenge top 4 mate, if our players keep fit and we keep who we have, maybe sign a few other players too. I mean look at some of the results we have drawn and lost because we didn't have midfielders who could pass and a quality striker and add that to what we have now and look were we would be. I fully believe with 1 or 2 signing we could challenge top 4.

I find it quite patronising when Liverpool fans made comments hoping that the Evertons would honour the minutes silence in a respectful manner. We would never disrespect anything to do with the Hilsborogh disaster as although it was Liverpool who played the game these fans were our mates and family members. RIP 96 you will never be forgotten by all decent supporters everywhere. {Ed025's Note - your right mate...and it makes it even more ironic when they come on here slagging our great supporters off..

Ed 25 if we lose moysey to spurs do you think we could interest berndon rogers ? I'd rather keep david personally even though Rodgers likes to play the passing game {Ed025's Note - he inherited a good team from martinez, and he would be my choice if david were to leave..

Believable0 Unbelievable2

The sad they David would leave, I would quite like Chris houghton as manager. He did good at Newcastle until he was sacked and he is now playing good attacking football with birmingam
Blue kaz {Ed025's Note - he is a good manager kaz...but for me, martinez would be my first choice..

don't know what to think about the whole drenthe situation, on one hand I feel sorry on the lad if he is haveing family problems he might be struggling a bit, but at the same time he might just be a lazy tw@t who doesn't care about the club in the slightest ... {Ed025's Note - the latter me thinks..

Believable8 Unbelievable2

Wasn't the first time mate, has done it one too many times this season and Moyes finally got fed up with it.

According to a few papers, United will let berbatov go in the summer for a cutdown 6 mill. he would be a great expirienced addition and it is not a huge transfer fee either {Ed025's Note - i like him..but he is too similar to jelly, and for me jelly is a better player, i think we need a small, quick mobile forward to play off him..

i posted here yesterday, and as a united fan with a soft spot for everton, i was raging with the result yesterday. i don't know how the scousers can complain about howard webb being in saf's pocket, when both skrtel and suarez should have seen red. either way, i think given a small bit of money, moyes really could do a very good job! but now i think he should be looking at playing ross barkley more and maybe taking someone like davide petrucci on loan from united, it might be a risk, but he can pass the ball, has good creativity and would add speed to your attack, alternatively maybe look at someone like moses?

percy {ed025's note - we are the scousers percy, not them mate...but i hope moses is on our radar, he is a really good player..

Believable4 Unbelievable4

Mr. utd u dont know howard webb being in saf's pocket? not just him all the refs

well for that just switch on your tv...n look for the match against QPR, or villa..oe even against chevesky ..just look how easily n stupidly .young dives n ref points to the spot . there are many more occasions like this....just look at the times manu have allotted penalty's at old trafford

Just Like all Evertonians i was born a blue. However having lived through the glory day's of the 80's, i now find too hard to stomach being a blue and to lose 3 times to the reds in the same season it brings me to the brink were i am sayiong enough is enough. I have had too many dark moments being a blue. I think it is now time for Evertonians to ask ourselves 2 questions. 1) Is mediocrity what you want, because under Moyes and Kenwright that is were we are going. 2) Or like myself do you demand change to both the manager and Owner or either. If You answered yes to question 1 then you can't call yourself a true blue, because it flies in the face of our motto. If You answered no to question 1 and yes to question 2. Then like myself you will have said enough is enough and demand change. {Ed025's Note - listen mate..i am not a happy camper either, but a wembley appearance and 7th in the league means we are going in the right direction, getting rid of moyes and kenwright may be the solution in the future, but until we have new owners in place, and ones with big money, this is about as well as we can do!..

Believable3 Unbelievable1

I know people are bitterly disappointed about yesterday, but honestly at the start of the season who would've thought we would end up possibly finishing 7th and a wembley appearance.

Would not of believed you if you told me that in September. {Ed025's Note - nor me mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with Ed 100%.

Agree0 Disagree0

What a doom merchant - get over it. I too very gutted about yesterday, the journey home was crap and today not much better. However get real mate - no money! But still 7th and a trip to Wembley - offered that at Christmas we would taken that no question. Once a blue always a blue - fans great yesterday and Green Man was top pub before the match - top day until 63 mins into game - the rest history and best forgot! {Ed025's Note - spot on...time to move on..

Very disappointed with yesterdays performance. Dont seem to have a plan b! Not much quality on the bench that are going to come on and change the game. Coleman in particular is not good enough for the premiership. Gutted for Distin, he has been excellent this season and the mistake was very out of character. Jelavic was isolated.

Moving forward next season we need a number 10 to take over from Cahill.

Lets just try and finish above the RS and try and look forward to next season.

When we actually got down and played it at times first half we showed them up for the very average side they are these days, but then panic hits in and it's just hoofball after hoofball in the general direction of Jelavic who had no Everton player within 50 yards of him. What the f*** is he actually supposed to do even if he somehow manages to get that ball with 4 v 1 on him every time.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Jelavic was too isolated in the second half {Ed025's Note - and most of the first, tim was no help all game, ossie was invisible, as was gueye, and felli and gibbo picked yesterday to have their worst game together..

Although he made a horror mistake, I really do feel for Distin, has been a rock all season long, outstanding, unfortunately football works in a funny way. Some of the things I am hearing on other forums etc, is rather shocking. Absolutely gutted for him, hopefully this doesn't affect his confidence too badly because he is still a top class CB right now. Yes the players were poor. but for me, it is down to Moyes, against Liverpool and United he just has this loser mentality, hides in his shell and goes ultra negative, there was no need to sit back, we should have pursued the 2nd, not relax. Guess who we have next? United at Old Trafford, just brilliant, might as well just give them the 3pts FFS {Ed025's Note - i agree with you mate..we need that winning mentality, which was sadly lacking yesterday..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Now that the season is pretty much over, we need to blood as many youngsters as possible. Let barkley get his game time now, get Vellios supporting Jelavic, chuck Duffy back into defense.

Just got back...
...First off, minute of silence went well - other than one person who shouted something - but i think about a quarter of everton fans shushed him. Jelavic goal was one of the best celebrations! Wasnt expecting him to score that to be honest, as in all the other matches when he has had similar chances he always goes wide! When we got to half time at 1-0 i was so confident, i thought Moyes was going to sort our players out - tell them to act like we are still at 0-0 and we need a goal. But we came out and just sat back, and had very few chances. There are a few things im disappointed about, the fact Drenthe wasnt on the bench, the fact it took till the 86th minute (?) to bring on another striker. The thing im most disappointed about is the lack of balls we got into the box, and the lack of shots we had. From the crosses we did have, you saw the keeper struggled - he never really got a strong punch the entire game, and we never took advantage. Gutted for Everton, and gutted for Distin - he isnt the first to do something like that, remember Jagielka Vs Aston Villa? To be honest i dont think that can be an excuse anyway - because at 1-1 we should have done much better too. Oh and also, Coleman was silly giving away that freekick - and from where i was sitting it looked like he was lucky not to be booked again {Ed025's Note - in all honesty mate we were poor, a lack of belief, and no plan b meant once they scored there was only going to be one winner, if we cant beat them with the rubbish they had out there....i fear we never will..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Least Ed025 is realistic.

Kinda surprised to see the number of RS fans on here spouting rubbish! I know that the real Liverpool fans are on their OWN site chatting and enjoying a good victory! The one's that come on here to thumb their noses at people are the just small men with complexes... It just shows that they really feared that Everton just might be closing the gap or overtaking their precious team and I also perhaps after such a bad season they are venting their anger towards us in some small way..... Nothing else could explain this kinda behaviour! But I sense that deep down they know how far their star has fallen!

Like I said the real Pool fans are on their OWN site and to them I say well done!!

You guys need to wake up , its a other thing to support your team , n well take them in a high regard. Every fan does.
But that doesnt mean you are a better team then liverpool. Even if we win fa cup still it will be a poor season. We are a better team playing in a poor form .that doesnt mean you mention us garbage. And all. Coz this same garbage has beaten 3 times this season. No disrespect to everton. But we are a bigger n better team in every aspect fans? Support worldwide? Players? Ground? Ambitions?owners? . Yup last seasons transfers didnt worked out. But we will 100mn this yr too. Whats new in that we are in transetion n thats y there would be some money n time wasted. Manc took 3*100mn=300mn for three seasons to win their 1st trophy a fa cup.madrid did the same. Well we might do it in one year

Agree0 Disagree0

Not sure how to answer this as half of it doesn't even make sense! However, at no point in my previous post did I say we were a better team than Liverpool... I was merely pointing out that RS fans who come on here to have a go at our fans are small men with complexes and as you have commented this puts you firmly in that category! Do us all a favour plz, you guys have a good side why not go on ur own site and support them like a real fan, instead of coming on here looking to argue with us on every little detail... I repeat what I said earlier.. I smell a little fear coming from people like you as you know that we have closed the gap, hence ur need to defend KK and his mistakes!
You say that you are in transition but as we all know the holy grail for all RS fans is the league and when was the last time you won that? That's right almost as long as us! Pretty long transition period don't u think?
So plz go back to ur own site and leave us to support our team while u support urs!!

We was the better side yesterday over the 90 minutes, the problem was we just tried to walk the ball into the back of the net rather than just pumping it into the box. they were against the ropes and we bottled it big time. but you know what? we was expected nothing this season, some even tipped us for relegation at one point. so chins up and lets beat man utd, I well and truly believe that if we play like we have been in the remainder of our games, and beat newcastle last game of the season we can finish 6th, just look at newcastles fixtures and see what you think. we just have to believe!
