Great result today. Makes me smile though as absolutely no mention on SSN. Arsenal won 8-0 and I've been shown all the goals 3 times already. Lol.

They were doing regular updates on SSN due to the number of goal alerts coming through.
Broadcasters were quite funny when at 17 nil and he said I think one more goal and I think Everton will have this sewn up 😂😂😂.

SNN did have a running commentary on the goals but its doubtful that they would have had any pictures as they would have to wait until they got the footage from EFC which probably won't be until xmas as the club are charging to watch the matches.

I hope we are not going to spend the next 4ish remaining window weeks chacing Zaha, he was hopeless for United also if we have the 50 million being talked about there's far better out there for less wedge, we need to get a back up gk a cb a replacement for baines and a forward, I'd see Zaha as more of a winger and would rather see look an and Walcott take those spots, so Zaha is a lot of money filling a position where we are fairly strong. Also I'm not sure mina is the cb we need we have enough of slow players in that position, we need someone with a bit of pace there who can get back at speed if required. I'm probably sounding a bit negative here just my opinion of some of the paper talk which if true looks like we are going to waste lots of time and money on players that won't fit.

IMO Mina is better than Keane so I think he’d be an improvement on what we have, but completely agree we need a CB with pace.

Reports are that Holgate is not for sale, that Silva sees him as a big part of his squad this year.
It's a great sign that he has a future here, but being a big part of the upcoming squad and being the main man to build a back 4 around are two completely different things.
Sure he might start every game, but being part of the squad could mean substitute or rotation too. I'm just saying, nobody knows yet so don't jump the gun until we see the first few line ups.

Holgate was used last season before he was ready. Yet he still looked ok. He is still very young but there is obviously a raw talent there. We would be mad to let him go anywhere at this stage. I suspect he will be used this season and given game time for periods and his progression monitored.

Would he dislodge siggy? GB. He's not an out and out no 9 so I'm not sure where he'd go. Unless he plays in a 3 instead of Cenk. Not seen the stats but can't remember him scoring many at Chelsea.

Don't think Batshuayi is what we need right now, I'd be concentrating on the centre half, left back and winger GB. Don't get me wrong, Zaha is probably the best player outside of the top 6 but I think it's quite unrealistic that we'd be able to get him. He'd cost a bomb, maybe a deal including Bolasie would work but even if Palace accepted a bid, not a lot we can offer Zaha that the big boys can't. It's the same with Tierney. Both show ambition from the club but at this time with no European football, can we really expect these types of signings.

What does Zaha offer us for that price. For me keep Lookman but what do I know (Zaha rumour a crock anyway is my belief) . Apparently even Silva now is willing to let the lad go. Got to be something going on that us plebs are not aware. Even so currently in pre-season training, assessments going on, 4 weeks till Window terminus, it will happen. COYB.
