All I got from it is that is 'complex' which is code for haven't got it sorted yet.

Moshiri increasing his stake early though is good news for us.

Yes great isn't it Moshiri wonderfull despite the club being investigated over getting Silva and facing a points deduction. what has happened to my once wonderfull club?

Blimey mate chill out.

14 Sep 2018 19:13:53
Not a case of chilling out Guernsey Blue, this is very serious. Mr Silva as you know was not my first choice but obviously as our appointed Manager I have to support him as I support my Club. I do not know who it is giving Mr Moshri advice but it seems mistake after mistake is still happening. My opinion the old Guard at Everton (I am talking at Exec level) still exist (some of them) and I am sorry but while they still exist no matter what holding Mr Moshri has, the old guard influence is bound to have an effect.

Agree2 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - the old guard as you put it ktf dont have much clout now and that is decreasing with every passing day, yes moshiri has made mistakes hes new to the game and its only to be expected, but this guy is our future and he will bring back the good times if allowed to do so but needs the backing of the players, manager and supporters mate, this fella is prepared to put his money where his mouth is and is our only hope so we should show him the respect and gratitude he deserves..

14 Sep 2018 19:43:46
Hmmm Ed as always I respect all opinions and inputs, I also appreciate Mr Moshri's obvious involvement and commitment. If you must have it in black and white then here it is. While Bill is still there, you can not tell me he does not have a serious input and influence. The guy saved us from picnic basket man, there is no doubt whatsoever there and his astute recognition of Moyes was a masterstroke, but as he has aged so his heart has slipped further and further down his sleeve away from his Brain and I mean that with all the love for the bloke I can muster. In short I think that Bill is probably one of those still giving Mr Moshri advice. I assume that you do know that a good 80 percent of Bills will to hire Martinez was built on his Wigan side beating us and winning the FA Cup, where the heck was the due dilligence in that.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i know what you are saying ktf but take it from me bills influence is on the wane, he has been brilliant imo over the years but will be taking a back seat shortly and his job here is almost done, a new era is happening and farhad will be surrounding himself with the very best in the business mate, so sit back and enjoy the ride..

14 Sep 2018 19:51:36
Agree there Ed good reply mate.

{Ed025's Note - cheers GB..

Will be like Christmas Ed, can't wait myself its all starting to fall in place at our Club.

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think so too GB, i for the life of me cant see why anyone would question moshiri or his motives?, i think hes the best thing that has happened to our club in a long time mate..

14 Sep 2018 20:43:46
With you on that Ed mate, i have followed The Blues since the 1960s and this is something else, we are so lucky Bill found Mr Moshiri, i will be forever grateful.

Both of you misunderstand. Sometimes our emotion has to take a back seat. Nobody least of all me is saying that Mr Moshri's motives and commitments are not sincere or indeed do not have the best interest of the Club at heart, 68 percent soon to be 75 percent speak wonders. What I am saying in particular is that both Koeman and Silva appointments lack in my view due dilligence, Koeman high profile and set up at some good Clubs but basically appointed on his playing time profile. Martinez (pre-Moshri but never the less Mr Kenwright was instramental - as I honestly believe in Koeman and even Silva) . Cold light of day, Silva, come on lads, this is the premiership, I am not interested in his previous to the Premiership. Add to that his tendency to not stay anywhere for long (Yes whoever it was his tenure at Estoril 9 years - get a grip) , does that really hold with the intension of Everton to build a consistency. GB mate have an opinion and give a reason for it.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - in my view ktf you are the archetypal everton supporter who always looks on the negative side mate, it comes from years of frustration and let downs supporting this club and i know because i have been there, but we have to have hope that things are improving otherwise whats the point?, lets give this regime the benefit of the doubt hey and try to enjoy it after all thats what following a team is all about, i for 1 am backing silva, brands and moshiri to bring the good times back and realize there will be peaks and troughs on the way, but i have to support the club through thick and thin as its pa

Just wondering ktf who would have been your choice?

Agree0 Disagree0

15 Sep 2018 08:36:28
James21345, always thought Benitez would be good, main problem being would he be willing to work under a DoF. Not worried about his Liverpool connections, he is a professional and in my opinion one of the best in the business. That is irrelevant though. Silva, is our Manager and our major shareholders choice irrespective of where the advice came from. It goes from there that Everton are my Club through thick and thin for over some 60 years, seen em come seen em go, you will not hear me booing from the stands.

Fair call I agree on benitez that for me he was the outstanding candidate but he ruled himself out
All we can do is wait and see so far I'm happy and getting my enjoyment back.

What is it with Silva after only a handful of games some are saying not my choice, does not stay.

Let’s take a look at it so far, people wanted attacking football, we’ve got that, people unhappy with defence, he brought in the left back, people talked about the centre half’s, he brought two in.

Then less mobile on the left and midfield, he brought Richarlison and Bernard in, people were demanding we kept Lookman, he kept hold of Lookman.

Short of getting the zonal marking sorted, I think Silva is a breath of fresh air and is trying to do all the right things.

Injuries, suspensions and new players still getting up to speed will take a little while, but for me Silva has done all we have asked for in strengthening key areas.

Just need the zonal marking sorted and all systems go.

And there lies the problem our model has been changed to a DOF and Coach which I really like
As mention Farhad has made some mistakes and I think will make more however slowly building his foothold within the club has bee good.
Blue Bill and the other old guard as you put it have done well not just in the past but also with the whole Moshiri acquisition and ensured it wasn’t a mistake and we didn’t go the way of a Portsmouth.
Also we have a great developing coach and a highly regard and smart DOF. Let’s be positive as we move in the right direction.

With current injury list might be about time to see if Dowell can step up.

Good to know we have several good youngsters ready to step in and I'm sure they would do a good job for us.

It's a pity that Lookman, reading the papers, is not one of them. He needs to grab the chance to show everyone that they are wrong about him.

At the end of the day I think he would be happier playing good football than sulking about not getting a move.

Both good Dentilad, have to admit do not know to much about Evans but Hornby what a player.

Evans is top draw mate, big strong lad so physically wouldn't be out of place in the prem, not ready yet but would do a job if called upon knows how to put ball in back of the net, can cross a ball and isn't afraid to run at players, I watch a far bit of the 23s and honestly am. excited by Evans Hornby Sambou Gibson and the young Aussie lad who's name I can't spell hahaha he plays at the back looks solid mate.

Certainly going to need an injection of our fringe players and their need to step up with our injury list. Despite our unbeaten start we are (after 4 games for us 5 for the top of table) 9 points that is 'Nine' points. I put that down to even after 4 games our inability to deal with set pieces still.
