We must be the only English club that started early in Europe and haven't had a flyer in our first 4 or 5 games.

{Ed025's Note - your right billy..

Hi fellas

Quick question for Ed025 if I may.

Just wondering what your take is on the manager situation, if it was up to you would Koeman be gone now or would you give him until Christmas?

I personally think you'll get results every now and then and it might save his neck until the Christmas period, for example Brighton I see you beating, if you don't there's a big problem and he'd need to be out the door ASAP.

You've had a harsh start to the campaign but we haven't had the best either, thing's are still very early, do you agree with other fans calling for his head? Personally I do. If I was in your shoes I'd want him out immediately.

Was just wondering what your take on the matter is mate.

{Ed025's Note - my personal view is that he should be given a chance to put things right corleone but nowhere near as long as christmas. im talking 3 or 4 games mate..

13 Oct 2017 20:56:19
Yeah I get that mate and agree with you. That's fair.

Brighton is a must win. Lyon I also see you beating at home. Then you guys have your work cut out with Arsenal followed by Chelsea which I really can;t see you getting much out of mate. Then it's Leicester another one of them but now, I'd expect Everton to beat them they aren't doing well either and I don't expect them to improve.

So the next 3 league games Brighton, Arsenal and Leicester, that has got to be a 6 out of 9 points, otherwise he needs to go. Don't get me wrong if you get any less I hope he stays of course lol

To me you fellas have a decent team it's just not been managed right at this time. Not like I'm moaning about that mate ;) lol.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - we have decent individuals corleone but an awful team, no-one knows what they are supposed to be doing and thats down to the manager for me, he has to sort it out and quick or i believe his days are numbered mate..

13 Oct 2017 21:08:02
Absolutely mate, couldn't agree more :)

I'll be honest, the way you conducted your transfer business impressed me, getting what was it, about 5 players in the matter of the first 11 days or something like that, I seriously was a little worried about it. So for it to turn out the way it has, there's only one person to blame and it's the manager.

I said it today on another page and I'll say it again, I'm a Liverpool fan but also a football fan. They are better then this.

Anyway thanks for your time mate :) appreciated to know your opinion.

{Ed025's Note - no problem mate..

13 Oct 2017 21:43:25
To be fair there has been wholesale changes in personnel but then Koeman should be able to manage that and have then starting to gel by now. I just don't think he has worked out what works best.
What does strike me strange at times is the way he handles the press and how he seems to alienate players. I don't think the Barkley situation was handled well by Koeman ever since he joined and the reports on Lookman are of concern.
If things don't improve rapidly I hope Holland step in for him and we entice Ancelloti but then I am always a dreamer!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - we are all dreamers ST, but i dont think any of us envisaged this nightmare mate..

Look no further than the Under 23,s a manager who knows how to set a team up and let the opposition worry about us, not many will take City youth academy on their own patch and come away with a 3 nil win, ditch the negative clueless set up and give Unsworth a crack at the first team.

Will keep rattling on for Unsworth until we give the guy a go, just to go to Anfield and the likes and to have a mixture of youth, experience and a balanced team with an attack minded manager who's attitude is go out there and win, time to let the rhino loose on the premier league.

allowing for the fact that Everton TV probably feel under pressure not to push the manager too much in the press conference, can't understand why the reporters seem afraid to ask the questions that this website and others bring up regularly. ronald how do you respond to questions being raised about a lack of pace and width in the team? Ronald, a number of commentators perceive a duplication of no 10s in the side. similar style players. what would you say to them?

that's because the last time the Echo asked tough questions they got banned from the press conferences and the press box so had to buy their own tickets just to report on the game I mean imagine having to buy a ticket shocking concept.

Some of the stuff koeman is coming out with is baffling. Blaming Europa league for us not being able to train properly. My argument to that is twofold. Firstly, we knew since May that we would be starting early and what the situation is so he should have planned better, and, secondly, he can't blame the Europa for his signings and squad selection. 3 no 10s on the pitch. No width or pace and still picking Williams are all down to him.
Thin khe needs a reality check tbh.

So he is basically saying that if any team he is managing is in Europe he can't manage them properly because or European football.

Nice reply Dentielad.

True dentie. He really is struggling atm. He just seems so stubborn and blind to what all our fans, pundits and reporters can see. We lack pace, width and we have a constant mistake waiting to happen in our defence. Without pickford we would be bottom and would have lost to stoke and Bournemouth and would probably have a worse goal difference than palace.

we all know we will have 3 no. 10s, 1 Williams and a manager who will once again stand on the touchline and make a sub at half-time when we are losing.

A pundit pointed out that for sandro to be productive, he needs wingers to get beyond defenders so he can get into the box. He isn't a hold up with back to the goal striker. Yet we slate him, but he isinano win situation. Klaassen needs time but also breaks into box when wingers get crosses in. That's his style. Gylfi needs to be behind striker, end of, not on wing. Rooney needs to pass the orange halves out at half time. In all honesty he is a sub at best. Overall summary, play Lookman, Vlasic or Mirallas on wings to penetrate defenders and get ball in box. And for God sake only have one Dm when at home.

Somebody needs to smuggle Koeman out and put a blonde wig on Dentielad, then stick him in the dugout. I think we’ll win every game with that idea.

{Ed025's Note - i think there is only 1 guy who cant see it ace...and hes the one in charge mate..

14 Oct 2017 11:40:37
spot on Denti but as Ed025 says RK is the man in charge and while I think he is a far better manager than the last bloke we had he is also far more stubborn. I love the Dutch people (worked with them and Belgians for years) but what goes along with their innate friendliness is a stubborn streak you just cannot break.

Well here it is the first weekend after the internationals, luckily I'm going to euro Disney to celebrate the little ones birthday as I don't think I could cope with the game against Brighton. I hope though RK has had a really hard look at himself and will realise he needs to change what he's doing squad and tactics wise that we need pace and wingers and DCL or Niasse or dare I say it both to start up front, we leave out Rooney, Williams, Martina and 1 of the Def mids. I will still be keeping 1 eye on the game as I'm an Evertonian and even though I'm in Paris I will be supporting the boys but I want to be more excited about Sunday think most of us go to the games now and are more hesitant about what's going to happen than excited about the prospect of a win, roll on the final whistle on Sunday so we can see if there's changes and if we've turned the corner c'mon Everton so us what you capable of.

{Ed025's Note - love it woburn..

13 Oct 2017 17:11:39
He'll probably stick to his guns and pick same team and hope he gets potted with a massive pay out, if we don't start turning things around he should do the honourable thing and shake hands and say it's not working for either of us I'll clear mý desk. without millions in his back pocket.

Great reply Woburn just want to see the result and be happy with what I see may have a sneaky look at the team selection but feel it may ruin the day.

If the result against Brighton goes with current form then Everton are in a very difficult position regarding RK. Replacing him with Ancelloti would only be considered a stop gap to get us to the end of the season. We need a Manager willing to listen to his coaches, particularly the U23's boss, in that group we have some serious talent and while it is difficult to know what happens behind the scenes it does appear that RK is ignoring them. I still believe Koeman is a good Manager but it is getting harder every game.
