Anyone reading the Daily Fail's articles on Fellaini? Completely and utterly disrespectful towards us, all it's been is Fellaini is leaving every day since his performance last Saturday.

I hate international week- it seems to bring out the worst in sports journalism- facts go out the window, and we are subjected to the individual writers personal preferences and agenda- the bulk are London based and biased- I would take alot of these so called exclusive, factual stories with a massive pinch of salt- remember to-days news is to-morrows chip papers!- if any body leaves it will be on Moyes terms, period.

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny thing is we (and felli) were poor on saturday and it looked for a long time like they were going to win - then Felli shoots a gamble thru a ruck of legs and it misses them all and goes in - and then he spins that ball at a defender and it slips thru tiny gap between his legs for Jelli to bury - and next thing is Felli is a legend! {Ed025's Note - no name i see...you are obviously from the dark side..felli was quality!!

I really think Osman could start tomorrow! There is 7 midfielders in the squad. Hodgson has confirmed Wilshere won't start. The rumours is that the training has been based on a 4-3-2-1 (a website NEWS).
Gerrard will start in the middle obviously and then you have more than likely Young and Sterling either side of the lone striker, that leaves 2 places in the middle with Gerrard and that is out of Cleverly, Osman and Huddlestone. You would expect Cleverly to start and surely Osman has to be in ahead of Huddlestone!!?
Whatever happens I really hope he gets on the pitch and shows everyone (some everton fans aswell!) just how good a player he is, Ive always said even years ago his style is well suited to International football and he will do well, the only shame is that he has been called up 3 or 4 years too late, long over due this and he should of had 20-30 caps by now in my opinion! Christ, if Gareth Barry has 30 odd caps then how has Osman not been giving a few!? Some of the tripe in past squads has been shocking!
GOOD LUCK OSSIE!!

Steve {Ed025's Note - i echo that steve..

Believable5 Unbelievable0

As everyone probably knows by now he IS starting alongside Stevie GBH. Happy days for Ossie and all connected with Everton. Thoroughly deserved as well and a top bloke and pro too..

Agree0 Disagree0

Well, your spot on Steve because it was announced that Osman is starting. Really pleased for him, hope he does himself justice, he deserves to have a cap as you say some of the players that have been in squads over the years it would of been a injustice if Ossie hadn't of been giving a cap!

Rite lads,so when the inevitable does happen and Felli does one,who do replace him with?Realistic suggestions plz.Rob Walker

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Well, as only Lionel Messi is better , it has to be him.

Mike {Ed025's Note - good positive post mike..well done..

Agree0 Disagree0

I've said before Abou Diaby but he seems too injury prone. There is no one like Fellaini really, he is a one-off, truly a unique player. We'll have to sign some quality players, obviously, and maybe adjust our playing style somewhat to accommodate the new arrivals as Felli gives us a dimension no other player can.

Agree0 Disagree0

Steven defour and joao moutinho would be great signings

Any news on Mirallas' injury Ed(s) ? {Ed025's Note - not yet mate..i think his scan was today..

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Thanks, I didn't notice the post below asking the same thing.

From my point of view, I'd give Holtby the wages he wants to get him to the club, quality player who I watch regularly, and clearly a passionate guy. Hope we can bring him in, but worried he might go to Arsenal. Would be a great addition to the midfield, him and Gibson would be fantastic.

ScotBlue

Believable2 Unbelievable1

How much would we be looking at for his wages ? I'd imagine he'd be able to command 60k a week ? Maybe less because he's a youngster and not an established, household name yet. I have a good feeling he'll opt to come to us cos he's young and has plenty of time to move on if it doesn't work out and we could then make a tidy profit. I'd pay what he wants for this reason.

Funny story for all, was out with friends, some of who are red supporters, and inevitivly the discussion proceeded to blues against reds, and each slagging off the other sides players exc.. however the slagging turned to the jeli man, and the reds slagging how he had no 2nd touch, now my wife who wouldnt know football from rugby commented as quick as you could snap, 'of course he doesnt have a 2nd touch, cause his 2nd touch is a celebration', she had apparently seen me reading a story online that had this as its headline!! anyhow it shows even if she knows nothing about football, she at least knows shes a blue!!

I've heard that Araz Abdullayev has signed for an Azerbaijanan team on a permenant basis. Anyone heard anything? Hopefully it is just rubbish because he looks a quality player.

Bobcat

Believable1 Unbelievable1

He'd be worth signing just to hear Simon Ross try and pronounce his name on match days.

Apparently felli has been quoted saying "Fell, "I've seen everything with Everton and in January or at the end of the season, I will turn to a new club or a new league."
I can't see him saying that especially after last time he apparently spoke to Belgium press! But can't be too sure! What do you think ed!? {Ed025's Note - i have a distinct mistrust of all the press, they are liars and charlatans.. and after hillsborough who can trust a word they say...well certainly not me mate..

Believable1 Unbelievable0

I wouldn't believe it. How often do stories like this happen on international duty? Seems to happen every single time.

Mike {Ed025's Note - they do mike, your right...the gutter press have nothing to write about, so making up stories tends to sell more papers, well it does if you are gullible, and believe that tosh..

Agree0 Disagree0

That quote is from back in August when he got fined remember. It's just the press dragging it up again for gullible people to believe.

When I come on this site I keep getting ads for Anichebe stats. What do we need them for? Everyone knows he's pants. Makes me wish I was still getting my beautiful Thai brides ads instead.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Expect abuse now mate, you're not allowed to have a go at players on here, no matter how useless they are. Anyway, what are you having a go at Vic for, he is absolute quality, i'd even go as far as world class. Like a younger Drogba. He is the player Falcao wishes he was.

Mike {Ed025's Note - thats not fair mike...constructive criticism is fine, but to slag off your own players, just for the hell of it, is out of order!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol, seems you can't win whatever you say Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

When he's in the mood he's not so bad when he plays up front but he looks out of his depth on the right because it isn't his natural position. But I'd put Vellios on the bench in front of him, personally.

So we can honestly say we might be losing Fellaini sooner rather than later ,he has being spouting of again to the Belgian media.I am not going to let this bother me cause i know either way it will be big money he goes for ,and you can rest a sure my fellow blues there is nobody better out there to spend the money than our Sir David Moyes he will bring in quality and soon Fellaini will be a distant memory.I just hope he keeps playing well for us until that time comes,i said the end of the season but i am now looking at losing him in Jan,but hey as i said he will be replaced COYB,IMWT,Stef the blue

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Players will allways come and go but as long as the club and fans are here we will allways be strong. Terry blue {Ed025's Note - thats right terry..

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd be gutted if he went but players come and players go but Everton is forever.
No one is bigger than the club, as quite a few players have found under Moyes' reign.
Moody Blue

Agree0 Disagree0

I wonder how much of the £70million (or is it £80 million), Moyes will get to spend?

Mike {Ed025's Note - sigh...roll my eyes...shake my head...have a day off mike FFS!..

Agree0 Disagree0

I can't believe you have all fell for it, well apart from Mike, any fool can work out those quotes are the same ones as back in August, so give the guy a break hey as it's not his fault that the press are using old quotes to stir things up. {Ed025's Note - i have a steadfast philosophy....when i doubt.. BLAME MIKE!! ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly, it's just a rehash of the same ol' BS that was coming out when he was last on international duty. There's no way he'll be allowed to leave in January unless he puts in a transfer request, let's just enjoy him until summer and see what happens. What will be will be. As everyone says, Everton will still be here and that's the most important thing.
