So Lukaku now saying he is not close to signing a new deal.
Am i the only one who thinks his agent is playing games, to keep the fans onside for the moment, when the reality is he fully intends to leave in the summer and get best deal for HIMSELF.
I know these things are complex but he was 99.99 percent before Xmas. Only a case of sorting a new wage and a release clause surely?

Is it natural that top players will be associated with all sorts of rumours and stories, its what sells papers. I agree with Ed if every time someone poked a microphone under his nose and repeated the same question over and over I would get bored of giving the same answer.
I would not get wrapped up in this at this point of the season.

Not convinced Anglesey that he'll leave in the summer. If and it looks like will get into Europa league, it might be tempting for him to stay. That along with him buying into what the club is trying to achieve. Like, if the club are making the right noises in terms of bringing new players in he may remain.
Ed002 points out we have to sell to buy. Which is right. I'd fully expect Koeman to continue his cull with the likes of Lennon, Garbutt, Kone and Rodriguez to name a few to leave. Along with other players that are on loan, McGeady, Niasse and Clev etc.
There should be plenty of room for players coming in provided Koeman let's the ones go that doesn't fit into his long term plan.
