Totally gutted, what an inept performance tonight, lacking in desire and guile of any sort=Rodwell must be the most over-rated young player in the country-if Fergie offers a Mars bar and a set of track-suits for him in the Summer I would snap his hand off ! We made a very poor side (Gerrard apart)look like a team of world-beaters-Hope Moyes" gamble pays off but in all honesty can you see us beating anyone of note at a neutral Wembley on this showing? {Ed025's Note - no i cant mate, if we dont beat sunderland i want him held responsible!, that was a disgrace tonight..

Believable4 Unbelievable1

You're right about Rodwell mate. I've never seen what other people seem to see. Headless chicken springs to mind. Fellaini had to do two jobs tonight. So did Distin, he was f**ked because he was covering for Jags all the time. Coleman never f**king looks up, he just puts his head down and runs like a child!
Victor and Denis looked like that was the first time they'd met! Not a common thought between them!
Why rest players anyway? Surely they can cope with playing a few games on the bounce...unless they have ham-strings made of f**king dust! I'd run for days if I was on their wages!! Unlucky Jonny, you've played so well of late and you get rewarded with a nice comfortable seat on the bench. What an absolute joke!

A very unhappy Wizard of Osman

Agree0 Disagree0

Jelovic and osman need toget match fit they were our best players on saterday why drop them hietinga droped for a player who isnt fit all makes no sense

Listen lads. We were awful tonight, theres no getting around that. It was Moyesy fault for picking the team but its done now so lets look forward to the Sunderland game. In a way I can see what Moyesy has done, he's rested a lot of players for the weekend but it backfired big time. We should have played a strong squad but its over now. I think those who are calling for Moyes' head should be ashamed of yourselves. One minute you are saying "he's the best thing since sliced bread" and the next "he's taken us as far as he can." Get a grip will you! Its 3 defeats in 17 matches, thats good by anyones standards. So stop moaning, get behind the blues on Saturday and lets get to Wembley!

once again moyes has the chance to beat one
of the worst liverpool sides. so what dose he do.
yes you have guest, he breaks up the defence and play

Believable8 Unbelievable2

13 Mar 2012 22:28:42
Moyes twice mentioned the Fellaini crap pass, when we were 3 on 2, just before they scored first goal - if he passes it properly we're 1 nil up - he plays it straight to one of the 2 defenders and they go and score up the other end - the guy has no skill at all :(

Believable1 Unbelievable6

13 Mar 2012 22:28:35
Liverpool have a QF this weekend too. They came to win tonight. We didn't. Just a thought.

Very poor performance to night. Should never of dropped Johnny. This will only be ok if they beat Sunderland. Team to play Sunderland.

Fellaini
Drenthe
Osman

Never thought I would say this but Gibson is badly missed. Beating Sunderlad is the only way they can redeem themselves from that shambles to night we looked clueless in the last third of the pitch. For Saturday COYB stuff those Black cats.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Swap distin for jags, distin was really poor tonight

Agree0 Disagree0

I Know we had to rest players for saturday! but dropping so many payers out of the winning team i think was a bad choice! the team that was getting us results had time to gel and was in sync with one another! i think he dropped to many! what do you lot think?

Agree0 Disagree0

Saturday:

Howard
Neville - Jagielka - Heitinga - Baines
Barkley - Osman - Fellaini - Drenthe
Cahill
Jelavic

Agree0 Disagree0

They have a quarter final at the weekend too. Seemed like tonight meant more to them than us

Agree0 Disagree0

Our season is over if you think we can come back from that that the worst derby display ive seen moyes please go take victor with as you are the only one who would give him a long term deal i dont rate you you proved tonight why i think your a scout at best {Ed025's Note - that was so poor last night...i think that only a trip to wembley can ease our pain, i know moyes is the main man...but to me that stank of steve round..

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Mar 2012 22:17:38
moyes made the right decision to rest our good players ahead of FA cup game - it's just a shame some of our 'reserve' players like Anichebe and Coleman are so poor! Also, I hate to say it but fellaini fans must see the gulf in class between a proper champions league centre midfielder and a clodhopping giant :(
not happy with that result, but let's raise the roof on saturday!!

Believable2 Unbelievable14

Your a person at best {Ed025's Note - in my opinion moyes is totally to blame....it was a reserve team we put out, he let us down big time..

All will be forgotten if we win on Saturday. But that was poor tonight and Moyes must shoulder some of the blame.

Believable7 Unbelievable5

That game will never be for gotten we just gave in the worst team selection ive seenwhy drop 6 from a winning side moyes handed them the game we wont recover from that sunderland will be licking there lips

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Mar 2012 22:10:52
Disgrace! All of you slating moyes it's not like were in the bottom 5. You'll all be cheering if we win the F.A. Cup. So be quite be disappointed but don't act like we could of won the league tonight it's another premier league game there's 10 left! Dan

Believable2 Unbelievable15

But this was a league game against our main rivals, were if we would have won we would have went above, i agree 1 bad result doesnt make a bad manager but that team selection lost us the game, we had no offence and were basically beaten before we even started

Agree0 Disagree0

So are you happy we rolled over tonight ...who do u blame then ...your no everton fan if ure happy with that

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes is class, but cost us tonight. Anichebe a left winger?
Feared the worst when I saw the line up!

Agree0 Disagree0

I dont unerstand why anichebie is still even on the team, hes got to be one of the laziest players ive ever seen {Ed025's Note - ask moyes...it is obvious by the team he sent out tonight, that the derby means nothing to him!!...well david, iv got news for you..im gutted, you sent out a poor team to win a cup tie next week, if we dont win, then on your head be it!, im waiting for the IMWT posters to come to the party..

Agree0 Disagree0

I cant even begin to understand what you mean moyes is class i can only sermise your a red hes a total f*** up no wonder he s never won at anfield

Agree0 Disagree0

It will never be forgottten why give liverpool an advantage by weakining the sidehes lost the plot ill never understand him droping 6 players in a derby we were on a good run spoit by our manager

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Mar 2012 22:05:59
Well, that was a ***** derby for us... Honestly why start anichiebe, rodwell, jags? I mean all of them are good on their day but none of them are fully match fit. However, lets try and win on saturday and go to wemberly as I really think its our time, but if we play like that again I can hardly see us lifting the cup this year. My team for saturday would be...

13 Mar 2012 22:07:21
The last manager to gamble with team selection in a MERSEYSIDE derby was hodgeson. I'll say no more on that one. Not happy about this one bit. Moyse needs to come out and admit he gifted that to the RS on a plate. Redicilouse to prioritise a cup game over our Derby.

Moyse your management of our club was below the standard we expect. You thoroughly deserve this poor memory you will keep of your 10th anniversary.

A 5-0 aggregate to our bitter rivals is a let down.

Gutted

Toffee ace

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Please get rid f anichebi its getting worse watching players who should be at a premier club if moyes is a good manAGER AFTER TONIGHTS SELECTION werve no ch ance of ever improving he is tacticley inept at best {Ed025's Note - i agree mate, that was a debacle, 6 changes wtf!!..leon and the jellyfish have only played one game in the last six weeks, why are they being rested???...if we dont win in the f a cup i hope moyes gets what he deserves..

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Mar 2012 22:03:34
how inept a performance was that all down to a manager who hasnt a clue ...best move on saturday was osman to jellyman ...reward ...benched ...moyes out your no tactical manager get out you useless person !!
markyg {Ed013's Note - Thats very harsh for a manager that has been there for 10 years. One bad result and you jump on his back}

Believable4 Unbelievable4

So you think tonights team choice was good and the effort was to our standard ed {Ed013's Note - No I don't agree with the team selection, but I don't think he should be strung up for it, OK he got it wrong, but not on purpose! No one is perfect mate}

Agree0 Disagree0

It is harsh, i think were all dissapointed with this team selection

Agree0 Disagree0

Leave moyes alone he had the nerve to try and get to wembley .and if that gamble comes off then that will be the means to a great end..so sorry on this occasion the big game is on saturday ..

Agree0 Disagree0

Tonight was the derby. Wud rather have beaten them than get to a semi final

Agree0 Disagree0

You would rather won tonight than maybe win a cup ? have a word with yourself {Ed025's Note - get a grip mate...why would you rest players who need game time??..jelavic and osman to name just 2...

Agree0 Disagree0

If we beat sunderland there stillalong way frm winning anything viewing the remaining the semi s why surrender to liverpool on the thought of a next game were is the sense in droping 6 players on a winning run it reminds me of mike walker is attitude when fighting for our survival he didnt understand why or how we re al feeling moyes as shocked me icant make him out

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Mar 2012 22:02:44
Here we go again slating moyes for team selection, get off his back we have had a fantastic run beating 3 of the top 5 sides we played poorly tonight I accept but Liverpool wanted it more just think moyes should not of rested so many but moyes does know what he is doing and if we win Saturday we will all be on there singing his praises so stop the negative posts the better team won tonight deal with it I am an everton fanatic by the way

Believable3 Unbelievable8

Your not making any sense do we all blindly agree with evey thing he does giving victor a 4yr deal proves he hasnt a clue notplaying jelovic and osman hietinga i cant fathom even a win on sat will never hide the fact he foldedin a derby game on arun they were s**ting them selves {Ed025's Note - i agree with you mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Mar 2012 22:02:43
That was terrible. We had a lot of the ball but they picked us off so easily. It could have been six. Jonny in form and good on the ball. Moyes made some really poor decisions and now we'll have to listen to a load of sh*te in work tomorrow.

This is how moyes works ...he changes any players who do well and demotivates them ...all negative

Agree0 Disagree0

I too think sats game is more important than tonight but if we lose on sat we will then question moyes selection for tonight maybe with the history of red cards its a safe option too rest drenthe johnny and cahill players who put it about but im sick to the back teeth of 10years of s**t performances at o.t .highbury emirates s***efield and chelsea show some balls moyes dont go to any of the above and lie down fans sick of it so must the players s**t tactics every year beat before we get of the bus could have won tonight d******e put his strongest team out with a qf at the week end why the f**k didnt moyes W****R

Believable5 Unbelievable0

So what!!! we needed belittling we have just droped 6 players from a winning team and beat totally outplayed by our main rivals who are an avarage team at best

Believable12 Unbelievable0

13 Mar 2012 21:42:57
too many of our players have no composure on the ball - distin probably worst culprit - he has time on the ball so often and just lumps it anywhere - usually back to the opposition when theres a simple pass on

Believable4 Unbelievable2

13 Mar 2012 21:24:25
well done moysie, now we can go into a f a cup quater final low on confindence after an awfull team selection against our main rivals, the team we want to beat most every year.

Believable13 Unbelievable2

Moyes is only interested in the FA cup - fair enough - our only chance of silverwear - maybe he thinks its his last year?

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats not acceptable, if we dont win the f a cup then no europe, if we had selected a stronger team today them we mite have wont and would have a better chance of europe through the league

really ....... off, why start anichebe, rodwell, coleman and straq. vic and rodwell not matchfit, coleman ineffective and now at half time were 1 0 down, cant believe moyes has done this, nevermind the cup on saturday we should deal with that when it comes, were gonna loose to the ..... again

Believable2 Unbelievable5

13 Mar 2012 20:54:43
I wonder what Fellaini's no. 1 fan thought of his '3 on 2' ball into their box just before they scored? Very poor - we should have scored and he just passed it to one of their defenders!

Coleman is vey poor and can't control the ball or offer any real threat - useless basically - get drenthe on!

Anichebe - absolutely awful.

Good play from most of the others though - come on blues - get stuck in!

Believable4 Unbelievable1

I'm convinced supporting Everton has taken 10 years off my life, but there years gladly traded supporting our beloved club! Would probably cry if we win tonight, so common blues, don't care how we do it even if it goes in off Strachs ass, 1-0 to us tonight!!

Degsy, i agree completly. Although lets not jusrt hold fire on slagging anyone off to the end of the season, lets not do it full stop. It really irritates me seeing all of these everton fans turning into red scum and slagging people off as soon as things dont go right. Imagine you are BK, supporter of the best club in the world and not only that, the chairman. Now imagine putting all your time and money into trying to make that club the best it can be, for stupid clueless fans to turn round and start slagging you off as soon as things arnt quite working to how they want to. The poor bloke, give him some credit for god sake. Did anybody watch the four year plan of QPR on bbc2 last weekend, if you havnt then it is a must watch. It makes you thankfull that we have bill kenwright in charge. He is a great guy, the last 2 games ive been to ive been fortunate enough to meet BK after the game and he is always happy to talk to you and listen. Is it just me or is anyone else not really to bothered about liverpool this year, lets be honest, theyve got all the money and there still crap. We spend bugger all and have got some great players and great morale. Suarez wants out, so thats there best player gone. Haha. Hi J. Looks good so far mate. Holds the ball up well and seems determined. I guess we'll be able to give a better opinion in the future but what a great finish on Sat.
Good luck with everything at your place pal.

Cheers wizard, we should be taken over by new owners next week.

Good luck tonight. Pretty disappointing that Jela isn't playing? Surely this game is THE most important regardless of what game is on sat?

Peace

Right guys gonna say something here.

Lets stop all the slagging of the BU, BK, Moyesee and anything else to do with Everton FC at least until the end of the season, lets see what happens then and if Bill finds finances and keeps our players then good, if we lose our player in a few months then we can start having a moan.

It's not good arguing between ourselves about who is right and wrong, lets leave the arguing to the other side.

Correct Degsy. I made a similar point below. It's not the blue way to be at each others throats.

I'm with this too. Rather scream at the RS tonight than at my fellow blues, what ever their opinion is.

Right got to watch what i say here because its alright for people to say the BU lads are not proper Evertonians even they go home and away for years but when i say there better evertonians than most on here i get called a fool classic. Also things are going great guns on pitch at moment but is still a mess off pitch so all hale BILLY LIAR when he sells in summer again to pay the banks and we lose Pienaar,Denis and Drenthe. And then we can all want Moyes sacked again( like most on here) and IF he gets us out the s*** again next season we can all rip the BU and praise Kenwrong. PADDOCKBLUE

Believable0 Unbelievable1

It's daft for fellow Blues to be arguing about who's the best supporter and who isn't. It doesn't matter if you've been to every home and away game since the dawn of time or if you never miss a game on Sky! If you love the blues you love the blues.... Simple as that.
The BU did what they felt was right at the time. We were in a very bad way and you never know, our Janruary transfer activity might not have been the same if Bill hadn't have had that kick up the backside. It might not... Who knows? That's my point... There's no point in speculating. We should get on with supporting Moyes and the eleven men on the pitch and not worrying about Kenwrights next move.
He said he knows he has to sell the club, so what do you do? Put pressure on him to make a quick misguided sale that could kill us, or step back and let him find someone more suitable for the long term. More haste, less speed?

The time is here....we are in great form and no reason why we cant win, hopefully the ref will keep a level head and we dont get any stupid sendings off like last time, Ive put 30 quid on for a blues win, we can do it, superb odds of 4/1.....come on blue boys....come on guys im in klanfield tonight, lets sing our hearts out boys and roar a win on, my team for tonight.............

howard, neville, heitinga, distin, baines, drenthe, fellaini, osman, pienaar, cahill, jelavic.....Lets leap frog the RS, come on....

BATTO EFC

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I think that will be the exact team Batto. Phil Dowd is the ref for tonight mate.
Here's a few boring stats about Mr. Dowd,
He's given more yellow cards than any other refreree this season with 80... yet only 3 reds.
He's given 8 penalties which is the second highest to Mike Deans 11. Another interesting one.... his average fouls per card is 5. That means Fellaini can kick Charlie Adam four times and get away with it! (not that he would of course).
Good luck with your bet mate.
