We need to sign perez the Gibraltar keeper he's been outstanding against Germany. Seriously though great performance so far from Gibraltar makes the England team look exactly what they are, overated and overpaid

I see Belgium manager Wilmots was happy with the two world class Belgian strikers (Lukaku abd Benteke) against Wales. He said they stood upfront like 2 poles haha. I'm sure thousands of us and the Villians can relate to those comments.

Will Hughes from Derby, I've heard a lot of good things about him, but is he being overhyped? meant to be the most sought after player in the championship.

I liked him, till I heard Liverpool were after him. Seriously, he always wants the ball and moves it forward, looking for players in scoring positions or forcing them to run in better positions. because he tries to be positive it doesn't come off at times, but rather that than sideways n backwards, though no doubt RM will coach that into him.

Just a question about the agree and disagree buttons. Now I understand my opinions on things isn't agreed with by the majority on this site. Yet, as soon as I post something, no matter what it is, I have 1 disagree instantly, like even wishing ed025 happy birthday. Seriously?

Can't say I pay too much attention to the agree and disagree buttons.
Think going forward Swan needs to spend less time sitting on the fence.

Fed up watching players "kiss the badge" and then within weeks they are bleating about wanting to play for a bigger Club. and wanting to play in the Champions League etc! So basically this means that Man City, Chelsea, Everton & Arsenal should have the largest playing Squads in the world? All these players want to play for the Big Clubs for the biggest wages & most of them are quite ordinary. They are paid astronomical sums of money to occasionally string a few decent performances together and score a few goals, then the media refer to some players as potentially brilliant. they aren't. but they start to believe it themselves. Ross Barkley is one such player who now says he is modelling himself on Yaya Toure & Mesut Ozil!! In your dreams maybe. He is 21 now and Martinez keeps telling us that He needs time? Over the last few weeks we have read in the press that Mirallas is happy one day, then wants away the next? He wants to play Champions League Football with a "bigger club"! Now this week Lukaku has been making noises about wanting to play for a bigger club in the Champions League. We paid a club record fee for Lukaku, he gets paid more for one week than most fans of Everton get for 10 years. 2/3 months wages makes him a millionaire. no respect for the Fans of this great Club of ours nor for the Club itself. I have just watched the Wales v Belgium Euro Qualifier, the 2 players who think they should be at "bigger clubs" were invisible! Lukaku came on as a sub in the 2nd half and looked about a stone overweight and offered no threat up front at all, and the "super Kev" wasn't even used from the bench? I suggest that these two take a long hard look at themselves, and realise that maybe that they aren't as good as they think they are and should shut up moaning and concentrate on vastly improving their commitment and performances, and show some respect to the Fans who pay out hard earned money to give them the privileged lifestyle the a lucky to have. I love this great Club, I have supported Everton from the age of SIX. 54 Years a Blue. so either show Everton Football Club & its Fans the respect they deserve, and wear the Royal Blue jersey with pride, earn your wages by performing to a much higher standard and then you can play in the Champions League. For Everton!
Stop short changing my Football Club.

I can't help but agree with you about the belgiums GV, but with regards to Ross, one thing he's not done is speak about moving. This season gone or the one before, he's stayed quiet and kicked on. Granted he's not fulfilling the potential we expect, but surely he has time on his side.

Put it this way, if some of our fans are saying we should give Clevs time, then we sure as hell should be giving it to Ross seeing as though he is much younger, and Cleverley has had many chances.

On top of this, Ross isn't as learnered in footy as RM, and imo RM has given him the wrong advice. If u look at the season before last, and the one before that, and compare them with this one he's just had, its like we're looking at 2 different players.

Just my opinion on Ross. As for Rom, he's is amazing, and I love him, but he should never had joined with Mino.Since then he's gotten the wrong advice. He's brilliant and ambitious, 2 things missing at EFC. But Mino is a bad mix.

And Kev, well. he can do one.

This is a big season for Ross and IMO he will play it at Everton were he belongs.First of all the lad himself knows he must improve his decision making when running at pace in the final third he has to be better. when he keeps the ball moving and not needlessly overplays he shows his quality. Iam still not convinced Rm knows the lads best position .He deserves the backing of the fans and of his manager he needs a good pre season get himself in good shape know the managers tactics .Then it's down to Rm to show his trust in him and start him first 10 games at least if you want him to mature on the pitch he has to play if the lad doesn't cut it this year he never will .

i thought lukaku was very poor last night.as usual he couldn't control the ball and looked way out of his depth.i would sell him with mirallas as they both think they are better than they actually are!why not buy austin with another proven goal scorer from the championship?? creative midfielder also needed as we have too many defensive m/f's at the mo.

Red come in peace

Just been reading through a few of the posts as I was interested to see what goes on through other pages.

All I wanted to say about ross is that mr Gerrard didn't come into his best playing days until about the age of 23/24 and it annoys me everyday that use have ross as he will be a fantastic player but by no means if he doesn't do it this year he's never going to!

It will take time, all the great players who come in as kids are around for so long your watching there progress so in depth but when you buy them in at 26/27 and get the finished article you don't have to suffer through the development years.

We have it over are way with the majority of our team, and were still about 3/4 years from seing the players there going to be.

Ronaldo, bale, Suarez, neymar, hazard, messi, iniesta, xavi all these players are top players but all went through the developmental years. Bale once played something like 30 games for Tottenham in a row without a win, hazard this is his best season for Chelsea after 3 years and he got 14 prem goals?

The reputation shoved on them is stupidly big, and the money nowadays hangs of them like an anchor.

28mil lukaku, 35 mil hazard, 55 mil neymar.

Ross will come good, absolutely no doubt I just hope when that time cones RM hasn't built a crap team and you have to sell ross to rebuild. Use like us are at a turning point I believe, you have a chance to add to what use have and not sell and really push on.

Big bill either says the 28mil last year is for the next 5 seasons.or he goes and adds to the team that's there without selling and I dream of the day when Liverpool and Everton are tussling for the top 2 spots in the league again. Screw the southerners!!

Merseyside all the way!
