Do fellow blues think we should stick with hibbert at right back, play coleman there, or sign a new right back???

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Although i like to see home grown talent representing the blues......im afraid hibbert is not the answer, his distribution and tackling is not good enough {Ed011's Note - He works incredibly hard and holds his own against everybody

Agree2 Disagree1

I disagree ed011...working hard is a prerequisite of a construction worker....not a premiership footballer...composure talent and vision are whats needed.....sadly lacking in tony, s armoury but i respect your opinion and congratulate you on a great site......yours....the winkmeister {Ed011's Note - So who would you sign/play at right bank winky

Agree0 Disagree1

Coleman

Agree1 Disagree1

Coleman is great going forward but still has a lot to learn defensively. Give him time to learn till then play Hibbo he will rarely let you down,

Agree5 Disagree1

Coleman will have to change his game abit, he got found out towards the end of the season, but yes hibbo is not the answer nor is neville

Agree1 Disagree2

Id put my money on hibbo defensively every day. Not the best at going forward but at the end of the day he is a defender first and a very good one!

Agree4 Disagree0

Im sorry, but you do not know football! Tony Hibbert is brilliant at tackling... and as ed said works hard and its rare when he is beaten

Agree2 Disagree0

Hibbert puts in some excellent crosses at speed

i hope some of these rumours are wrong...id hate to think we are being linked with players like alan smith, jenas, ryan etc....we need players to improve the squad...not deplete it!....by the way.....the only rumour put about by tony hibbert....is that he is a premiership footballer....yours...the winkmeister {Ed011's Note - Smith won't end up at goodison, moyes is no mug in the transfer market, he will spend wisely

I think we can take heart from our strong finish at the end of last season, we looked great against city, chelsea and wolves, if only we could get off to a flyer it could be a much better season. Surely we can compete with liverpool as the norwegians don't set the standard very high

Believable2 Unbelievable2

13 Jun 2011 22:24:48
I think we should look at robbie keane, good experienced goalscorer who is not injury prone and well in our price range, he is surplus to requirements at white hart lane

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Keane has not scored enough recently, i would prefer us to go for long who had an exceptional season

Agree3 Disagree0

He hasn't scored because he doesn't play. i think he would do well with us, but i would rather bellamy, he is a work horse and is a proven goal scorer i really think we should shell out the 4 mil city wont for him

Agree5 Disagree1

Keane is scoring plenty for ireland and is in great form
if he can bring that form to his club he would be a good signing

My Cousin is Tony Hibberts best mate and and he said rumours are flying about interested investors from China. They want a PL club with a fanbase already in China and Chang has given us that.
stadium Development and a handsome Transfer budget would be part of the deal. only sticking point is BK wants a big golden handshake.

A bit of transfer tittle tattle from Hibbo too. Rodwell to Sunderland for 10m and Lee Cattermole.

................... Whats ya cousins name and what part of liverpool he from? i know tony and he dosnt chat s*%t so stop making things up

'Everton to be taken over by He Xiangjian in next 48 hours!!!'

I heard the same thing 48 hours ago, still no takeover though and no 'press conference' announcing it today as rumoured. It's not happening!!

honest blue.

Believable1 Unbelievable6

'Everton to be taken over by He Xianjiang'.

I agree its not happening. Just sick of this '48 hours' rubbish!!

This must be the most bizarre, deluded post I've seen for ages :-

A bit of transfer tittle tattle from Hibbo too. Rodwell to Sunderland for 10m and Lee Cattermole.

**************************************

Yeah right!!! The likes of ManUre, City, Chelsea & Spurs are looking at Rodders for £25m, & we're going to accept £10m & a player who wouldn't even make our bench??!! I think this was posted by Cattermole's agent & Sunderland's accountant!

Rodwell has been linked just about every place but has anyone actually asked the lad if he wants to leave! I feel Arteta to Valencia would be a much much better way to bring in funds and sell bilyaletdinov to some team like Rubin Kazan. Heitinga, Baines, Rodwell, Fellaini and Jags are must keeps for me i mean cmon they are the heart of everton between them {Ed011's Note - Rodwell has never given any indication he wants to leave and everton have given no indication they want to sell him, every chance he will be lining up in a blue shirt next season.

Chang is a Thai based beer, in China they drink Qingdao, so fanbase in china very debatable likley to have more of a fanbase due to the links in the passed with Keijan sponsors and Li Tie who was a god over there.

AGREE WITH EVERYTHING EXCEPT RODWELL TO SUNDERLAND

a) HE WOULDNT GO THERE
b) 10M + CATERMOLE (3M) IS NOT 25M!

GOOD SHOUT THOUGH!

Hi ed do you know anything regarding wheather or not the takeover is true or false? {Ed011's Note - Not heard anything else today

Believable2 Unbelievable1

13 Jun 2011 15:19:47
Tottenham ready to line up a 25mil bid for rodwell. EFC will happily take the funds and look to land N'Zogbia and a front man at Goodinson

what do you think ed? with chelsea and tottenham apparently interested in him, realistically who could we get with his departure money + sales from yobo, yak and piggy bank money from pienaar? {Ed011's Note - N'Zogbia, Adam, Ba, and Long are the level of players that we should and could go for with that money.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

13 Jun 2011 15:08:59
c adam has practically signed for them across the park, i have heard rumours about upson, tho i dont rate him myself, also ba has been linked apart from that all i hear is players leaving fellani rodwell arteta. eds who do u think will leave cos i think we defo need 2 sell 2 make funds available
ED 11: If there is no takeover/investment then there will probably be 1 high profile exit for say 20 mill and there will be 10 mill from selling on fringe players, should give moyes a good transfer kitty

Agree8 Disagree1

Whoever write joey barton captain, get real mate, not only do we not want him, hes note good enough, hes not better than osman, rodwell ect.. he is no role model for kids and no way a captain of our club, dont post stupid stuff like that you just sound like you havent got a clue.

hi ed why does'nt david moyes just come out and say if he is leaving or not the way people are putting things on here about him going to villa we r a bigger club than villa so he would be taking a step back also got r local paper the liverpool echo nothing mentioned on the takeover {Ed011's Note - Moyes stated a few weeks ago he was not interested in the villa job, close friends like Alan Irvine are saying he will stay. Thats good enough for me, lets concentrate on us and not villa. Moyes is a loyal guy and i think he will probably consider his options when his current contract runs out in a couple of years.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Moyes is saying nearly every day he is not quitting Everton, People that post that he is on here are just bitter fans that support teams with crap managers {Ed011's Note - Lee carsley is another one that has come out today and said that there is no way Moyes will leave. I am glad our manager and players are in demand, it shows we have a great squad, great manager and plenty to look forward to next season. COYB

It is crucial the blues get a good start next season, then if we continue strong like we usually do in the second half of the season, then we can be in with a shout of the top 6. The chelsea and man city performances at the end if the season were promising considering we still had a few injuries

Believable3 Unbelievable0

been told through email by a close friend in the club that after a rejected 1.2 mil bid for alan smith everton are ready to bid 2 million for the newcastle midfielder

===========================

Why would we pay 2 million when he has been released by the club {Ed011's Note - Why would we want him?

Believable9 Unbelievable0

13 Jun 2011 10:58:02
Ed have you heard anything on this supposed press conference taking place at Everton today? or is this just yet another false takeover rumour? {Ed011's Note - I don't know mate, nothing being reported yet, Ba announcement should be in the next few days as to where he is going

26th richest man in the world, Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Alsaud, is allegedly looking to buy premier league club. EFC, norwich, and liverpool are the potential targets. Worth 16 billion dollars, so fingers crossed

---------

Wont be lpool as theyve just been bought out and norwich wont be in the prem after this season. Must be something behind the scences at EFC, the amount of people that look at buying us and then back away. (Edd - any thoughts??)

Steve J (Blue Nose) {Ed011's Note - Ground needs rebuilding and modest debt needs clearing, the only 2 things that would put off a buyer. We are a big club, great support and history, money would revamp us and help our push for trophies and regular european football

Believable2 Unbelievable0

i cant see why we seem to wait till the last possible minute to sign players.it seems to happen every window.by the time we decide to move in the market...all the decent players have been snapped up, surely the earlier we sign a player the better.as he can gel with the rest of the squad before the season starts...maybe this is why we always start so slowly every season.come on you blues, , get a rattle on...yours, , , , the winkmeister

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Its all down to money - or lack of it.
We cant do a man city and dump a load of money on the table will always have to agree payment schedules, and factor in wages and agents terms. So it not just a case of identifying players we want, sorting the cash will always drag things on and on.

Agree2 Disagree0

Maybe Moyes is waiting for someone to buy the club?
